I was wondering who will at WDW at that time and might want to come to Karaoke at Kimono's on the 3rd of December, I believe Karaoke starts at 9ish.. and of course there is always sushi and lots to drink.. it is always a fun Dis time.. so please let me know if this works with your plans.

I just picked that day as it seemed to be open from what I have seen here for meets on the boards... if it conflicts with others, I am open to another time.. I just think Kimono's with lots of Disers is a blast..

I don't think I can make it, but can anyone videotape the singing so I can put it in the DIS Meets 2003 video? We'll have another DIS Sings section. I wonder if Doc Rafiki and her Milli Vanillis will make an encore peformance. :)

I'd love to come that night Marsha. We arrive that day (staying at the Poly) and will be having dinner at O'hana 5:30, then we're thinking about popping over to Epcot to catch Illuminations.

I'll see if I can talk Holly and her sister Andrea into coming too. Holly's DH Tim might have to skip it (somebody has to watch the kids !!!)

I am soooo looking forward to seeing you guys again !! Bring on the Saki !!!

Rats... We don't arrive until the 4th. I was really looking forward to getting silly at Kimonos with some DISers/WISHers.

If you decide to do another Kimonos meet on 12/7 or 12/8, I want to come!!!

That's great news, Mahsha! You and Kath and Beanie have made Kimono's sound like such a silly good time, I'd really hate to miss it. And it sounds like the kind of place that's the most fun with a few nutty good friends!

And since this is a very rare "kidless" trip for me, this is right up my alley.

Plus I'll be just across the water at YC, so it will be an easy trip home if there's a bit too much sake or tequila floating around. Nah- that would never happen:crazy: !

I haven't been able to open this thread for a while (something about the music sometimes freezes up my computer). Just wanted to let you know I'll be there (eating sushi while everyone else sings;)

Hmmm... I'll keep this in mind. My dad will be with me that day though, so not sure if I can or not. I'll be at the Swan though, so I can always pop in maybe for a short while at least to say hi to y'all!

I am sure we will be there other nights... we like it so.. and some of us are staying right in that hotel... maybe someone else wants to set up another kimono's meet... I picked that night as it was a free night for a lot of us....if not maybe you can make TLinden's Jellyrolls night on 12/5... we will be there too.. :D

I am so disappointed that I'm going to be a day late for Marsha's Kimono's meet. I've never been there (I have a gravitational pull thing that takes me to Jellyrolls when I'm in that area). If you end up going on another night when I'm there, maybe I'll venture out of Jellyrolls and swing buy. Or more likely, you can send someone over to Jellyrolls to come and kidnap me :)

I can see it now. I'm heading to Jellyrolls, and I'm stopped by some DISers who say, "Really, Karen. I swear that there is a plumbing problem at Jellyrolls and they relocated to the Swan. The piano guys are already there and they are waiting for you." Hmm, that doesn't look like a piano. But I can still sing along badly, so all will be good, right?

Not to fear, I am sure there will be more...Marsha and I were there last night and had a blast and of course, tonight is the actual meet and it doesn't take much to get Ms Mackey back in there, so I am sure there will be another! :)

Have fun at Kimonos tonight, folks. I'll be at Les Miserables in Boston tonight, but I will sing along and it will almost be like I'm at Kimonos (except people will be sushing and booing and complaining because I'm singing along in the theatre instead of just singing).

I'd love to head over to Kimonos at some point as well. We'll discuss it on Friday at Jellyrolls :)
