conflicting reports

I have a question for anyone who has recently returned from the cabins. Do they have 1 or 2 tvs. I was under the impression that the new cabins have 2 tvs but have read in other posts they only have one. I am going in September and would like to know. Thanks for any help you can give me.

From what I understand, the cabins have 2 TVs (one in the living room and one in the bedroom), but the old Wilderness Homes had only 1 TV. Maybe that's where the confusion came in.

Our new cabin (Handicapped) only had 1 tv. When I made a comment about it I was told that they no longer provide 2. Didn't even make a hook up for one in the room is you brought your own.

We just came back from the cabins, stayed in 2600 loop. We had two TVs and one VCR.

Maybe they are shortchanging the handicapped guests then. If so it makes me mad.

Lisapooh: I doubt it. I think they're probably just cutting back in all of them. :D

I wonder if they all started out with 2 and they are just not replacing them as they break down?

Cabin I was in was brand new. The handicapped cabins used to be in the 2800 loop only. Now they have some in 2500 as well.

We were at FW in late Feb. '01. Stayed in the 2600 loop we had two tvs and also a vcr.

Could it be, that in order to make room around the bed for wheelchairs and walkers, the bedroom tv has been removed from handicapped rooms?

We just got back from a week in cabin 2704 and we only had one tv in the living room (with a vcr). We never even turned it on though until about our 5th day - too much other stuff to do!;)

I came close to calling and asking to have our TVs removed. It realy buged me that the family would turn on the dang things and watch the same crap we watch all the time at home!
