Hi guys!
WHY IS COMING BACK SO HARD AND PAINFUL!!!!!!!
But anyway, heres a little report on how things went....
We arrived on a sunny afternoon sept 22, to our rental home in formosa gardens (which was stunning) and about 2 miles from the entrance to DW. The weather for our trip was great, hot, a few partially rainy days but nothing that stopped us from doing anything we wanted to do. Parks were a little more crowded than I had anticipated I guess due to the FTP, it was weird on some days most rides were 5 minute waits on others 45 minutes. Overall attendance was at a decent level....I did however notice a lot more rude people this trip than others...lots of pushing and rudeness about, which always breaks my heart becuase its supposed to be a happy place! THE HALLOWEEN PARTY WAS SO FUN and very uncrowded on OCT 3, we rode everyride about 5 times and had 2 huors to kill. Big Thunder Mountain was closed for refurbishments, which hurt, but I understand its necessary.
Mission:Space was FANTASTIC...I was paranoid from all the warnings and things I have read on this board, but I rode it 3 or 4 times on a full stomach and was great, just follow the instructions. I got a sneak peak at wishes and it looks like it will be gorgeous!!
So here is the Disney magic part...while resort hopping, DH discovered that he LOVED AKL, we were scheduled to check in at POR on 10/3-10/6, but when I saw how muich he loved and admired AKL I called WDW reservations and asked if we could get in, they did put us in and with our AP rates it was only about 70 dollars more. But the BEST PART WAS they put us in a Savannah view room...we saw Giraffes out our window everyday along with all sorts of other animals, it was great, the smell there is fantastic...Bomas is THE best restaraunt in MO. We ate there twice. It was so great of them to do that for us, it made his experience 100 times better and mine as well. Overall it was just a fantastic time!! Planning the next trip already!
