Hi everyone!

My fiancee' and I are going out to Disney for two weeks using only Disney transportation since we plan to stay on-site through out our entire stay.

But now we want to spend one of our evenings dinning at Emeril's restaurant at Universal's City Walk.

What's the easiest and quickest means of transporation back and forth. How about cost? We'd be coming from Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

Thanks for the help,
Michelle

Mears provides transportation from Disney resorts to Universal for $12 per person round trip.

However, it is designed mainly for those wishing to spend a day at the parks at Universal, so most of the pickups at Disney Resorts are in the morning, and the dropoffs back to Disney resorts are in the evening.

You should call Mears to see what their schedule is to see if it meets your needs.

If Mears schedule does not meet your needs you have two other alternatives.

Taxi - probably very expensive.

One day rental car - The Dolphin at WDW has a Dollar/National desk. You could check into a 24 hour rental from them. For a compact, you might could even beat the Mears price of $24.00 for the two of you. I believe their hours are 9-5.

You could spend the morning you plan to go to Emerils at Epcot, walk out the International Gateway and take a boat to the Dolphin early afternoon and pick up your rental car, then drive the car back to your resort to get ready for dinner, then off to Emeril's. Just make sure that when you check in to your resort, you go ahead and get a parking pass, and put it in the dash of the rental car while you have it at Disney.

Then sometime the next day (within 24 hours of when you picked it up), you could drop the car off at the Dolphin and take WDW transportation to any destination you wish.

Hope this has been helpful.
