Hi, everyone. :) Seems like so many people these days are watching their carbs. Whether they are on Atkins, SBD or just on a low-carb diet... :scratchin I have never watched my carb-intake. Should I be? Do you lose weight faster when you do?? Thank-you for any info you can give me. :grouphug:

Yes, cutting carbs makes a huge difference. I think the idea is finally starting to catch on that the "low fat diet" doesn't work for everyone and is actually worse for some. BUT... everyone is different and not everything works the same for everyone. Depending on your blood type is again another factor. I personally am O and I've always known I am carb. sensitive but just didn't know about the Atkins diet. It is working for me and I feel better then I do when I am eating high carbs..way better! You would just have to give it a 2 week trial and then decide for yourself. There seems to be so much genuine and sincere concern for ones wellbeing in this forum that I'm sure you will get tons of advice and help with whatever option you choose. There is alot of success in here with weight watchers and other plans as well. Good luck! Check out www.atkins.com:Pinkbounc

Well for me, doing the atkins plan and getting my blood sugar stabilized has been amazing. I have a steady flow of energy, not just sugar high energy, pms has all but gone away (hubby very thankful for this), we can go out to dinner, enjoy whatever we want and it takes no time at all to recover from any temporary gains.

The weight is pouring off both hubby and I. We are both very excited to go to our next doctor appts and see the changes in cholesterol. Both our blood pressures are already back to normal.
