looks like there's lots of changes/downsizing for all rewards programs...

just wondering if someone can explain a little about the latest how-to-earn-points at silverclicks.

the surf bar is pretty buggy, keeps crashing.
i tried it for the first time this morning, left it on for a little over an hour while i perused the DIS boards ;)

just now when i logged on again, noticed the surf bar had upped the little points counter to 35.

what's the deal with the surfbar? do you just leave it there while you do other things? do you actually have to click on the ads?

also i couldn't quite understand what happened to that program where you earn points by playing games, i can't remember what it's called mousecash or something :p

anyway your help is appreciated!

I've been doing SilverClicks off and on for a couple of months now and have gotten up to a little over 4000 points.

I use the surfbar--just turn it on and every now and then a banner will pop up telling you to "Please Wait" and then "Continue". I think this is to ensure that you aren't turning on the surfbar and leaving your computer idle. I never click on the banners, just on the "Continue" button. The bar was crashing a week or so ago but I haven't had any trouble with it lately.

You can go to HobbyRat.com and play RatVegas for Silverclicks. You can exchange 250 RatCash for 25 SilverClicks. I think this is the max though I'm not positive.

You can earn daily, 6 day and 7 day SilverClicks by visiting various sites. The easiest thing to do is sign up for a SilverClicks newsletter. Mary Waring's Mousesaver's website has a list of newsletters.

I haven't been earning a lot but every little bit helps. I have heard that SilverClicks charges shipping (UPS) on all of their rewards.
