Got my docs yahoo.......do you have yours tevagirl or vandawho? So which one of the two of you are buying the drinks?LOL
I think that I got the whole excurtion thing corrected. They deleted the whole 10:30 parasail so had to make a new one for 3:30 this should work. Gini will continue to stay on top of things.

I still don't have my docs.....I really want them...not sure why its such a big deal for me. My TA is one of my co-workers wives but he has been out for medical reasons so I assume thats why I don't have them. Usually he just brings them to the office for me.
I have to admit I've been freaking out about getting seasick after reading the reports of everyone who cruised last week. I know it seems like there are no storms heading our way right now, but even the possibily of switching ports is making me nervous...I have two little kids with me.
I also saw a posting by someone that said October Eastern Cruises were going to Antigua....Are we?- I hope I didn't miss something not that I really care about what ports we go to...I'm just going for the DCL cruise experience...Any port would be fine

Tevagirl, that last comment was just gross...but too funny. Who else besides me is in vacation mode ? I'm at that point of "oh, it can wait till after I get home"...like I'll want to do a chore after I get home. All of my energy is spent on making hair appointments, setting up my tans at the tanning booth, and picking out clothes...good thing my job is VERY flexible. I have to think of something to take to eat on the plane...we'll be on Southwest for 7 hours. Whatever happened to food on a flight, even if it wasn't that great ? We used Suntrips to fly to Hawaii this spring...I could tell DS was bewildered by the full meal on an airplane idea...he is used to nasty little snacks or a soda. Can you tell we never go first class ? Suntrips was pretty cool...full meals and big snacks...4 oz candy bars...and it was CHEAP.

Lisa: Funny story!
Jule: We are going on the August repo cruise
Welcome Aboard Jeanne!
Libby: Yes the wine party is Monday on the secret deck.
lildeb: Only a couple of eastern cruises are going to Antigua. They are special itineraries.
Sandy: Glad you got your power back!
The landscaper comes tomorrow morning to start putting in our lawn. We should have sod by Saturday. We got our garage door opener put in yesterday.

I went to the local vineyard (about 10 miles up the road) and got two nice bottles of Reisling...Yum!) Sounds like just the thing for a tropical day on a ship with a fruit and cheese plate and new friends! If we change the time and place would some one...Sandy or Denise or Julie call our room and let me know...6141. Thanks. I would hate to show up for a party with a plate of food and two bottles of wine, with no one to help me enjoy them...:drinking1 I can't believe we're leaving next week for Florida! Called the hotel and everything...looks like we're confirmed and good to go. Still haven't figured out how to get to the Port on the 16th...maybe we'll just wing it when we get there...

The 10/2 cruise is going to Nassau instead of CC...we've never been there so that would be fine, but I was looking at the excursions and quite a few involved lots of walking, which I don't think my mom can do. On CC she could just take the tram to the beach and relax. We would love to go to Key West again but I think the distance is a problem there. Oh well, they have three weeks from tomorrow to get CC back in shape.
vandawho
09-30-2004, 11:38 PM
I'd rather have another port than another day at sea...........I think there's already enough days at sea on the eastern!! I'd love to see Key West! But hopefully we'll be able to go to CC......See ya's soon.......Jill

Been to Nassau once, that is where they sell the dark coconut rum for the lava flows. Still think I would prefer CC. When I called DCL for the excurtions they were all for CC and no one said we weren't going..........so maybe just a nasty rumor................julebobo

Well I hope my vacation doesn't go like my day went! I started out this AM falling down a flight of stairs. I don't know whether anything is broken or not. I've had my sneaks on all day for fear of not getting them back on with too much to do today. Just got enough guts to take off my shoes and my toes are swollen and black & blue, arm bruised, and sore all over. Actually it's comical now that I think about it. When I fell, my left leg was tucked backwards under my body while I was going down and I was screaming all the way down. Hubbie had just left for work and I woke my 8 year old up with my screaming. Poor thing - must have thought something really bad was going on. I need a drink! NOW!

julebobo....did you tell everyone who was at fault for your tumble down the stairs? Her DH was at fault. And why do you say? No, not because he pushed her but because HE'S the one who wanted (30 years ago) a two story house built. Therefore it's HIS fault that SHE fell down the stairs. And that, my new friends, is how my dear old friend's logic works.

Talk about having accidents......we just realized yesterday my dd5 passport has expired :-(. So dd3 and will be flying in about 4 hours and hopefully dd5 and dh will be over on Wednesday. Talk about a trip being anti-climatic. Instead of being excited yesterday and last night I spent most of the time crying. Suprisingly enough dd5 is actually excited about the change - getting to fly over with her daddy - who she doesn't see a lot of. Thank goodness - I don't think I could go without her if she was upset. But seeing this mess is costing us A$4000 to sort out we don't have a lot of choice.
Anyway, must go shower...we head to the airport in about 30mins.
See on all on board.

Julebobo and Libby...could we add any more stress to this cruise ? Julebobo, hope you're okay, and Libby, glad it all worked out...DH is fine but sore, and very bored because he has been confined to quarters (read that our home) all weekend. He is also without a vehicle and wants to go jeep shopping...I said we should wait till we get home from the cruise. At that point I'll be so used to spending money that I won't care. I will be staying home all day tomorrow...last time DH was in an accident...rear-ended, the same thing happened to me two days later.
Denine, hope the sod looks good...don't you love it, instant yard. When we were in Iceland the base commander had a huge portion of the base sodded...DH and I stood at the window and watched...made us feel right at home.
Tevagirl, I agree with you on the drinks theory.

Well other than some soreness in muscles I never even knew existed I am feeling better. Thank you all for your good wishes.
I was looking through a little local newspaper that we get delivered and saw that for the 2005 Philadelphia cruise schedule the Royal Carribbean is having a cruise out of Philly (which only happens to be about 10 miles N of where I live) to Portland, Bar Harbor, Martha's Vineyard, and Nova Scotia next July and August so guess what I did? That's right, I booked it! It's on the Enchantment of the Seas. I had to do something to make myself feel better.
BTW, I'm not sure I got all the info on the wine party on the Magic. Could someone PM me and send me the info? Thank you in advance.

Jeanne,
Of course, you're invited to the wine party! Everyone's invited. It's on deck 7 secret aft verandah. If you look at a deck plan you'll see a big white open area all the way at the very back of the ship, that's it. As for the day and time, I'm a little vague. I'll let someone else tell you that part. I really need to write this down.

If Mekayla wants to come, I'm planning on bringing her to the wine and shine...but my money's on her being in the OL. She's already informed me that I can expect to eat alone...a lot. Fine by me...this trip's for her. I will not be able to post again before we leave...we go to the library after work and use their terminals for free - I don't have internet service at home...so Bon Voyage everyone and we'll see ya' on the ship! Where can I get that list of who's who and which cabins we're in? Some one please call us (cabin 6141) and share the info! Also, I called the cruise number today and they said the 10/9 is going to Castaway Cay and we have no port changes!! Hope all fares well until then! Hi Everyone !!
I can't find my passporter book! I wonder if they sell them in stores, anyone know? I was gonna bring it along even tho I prolly have the dang thing memorized.... I will need it to find the wine party, I'm not so good at directions....so we will be the ones who show up late, lost & half the wine drank. ::yes::
Whats everyone wearing for formal night, I can't decide if I wanna buy something or just wear a skirt & top...I'd love to wear a long gown but I can't find one I like.
Is everyone one ready to go?? I still have a few things to get yet and time is running out! My last day of work before we go is 10/12 so I can get everything done at the last minute! Hell, I just finally got some more suitcases this weekend. Brian finally found his Birth Certificate yesterday at his parent's home. LOL AHHHHH we are such a messssssss
Hopefully y'all are more organized than we are! Brian thinks I thrive on the chaos, I dunno, I think he's the one who makes me crazy:tongue:
At any rate we are soooooooo looking forward to this vacation and meeting all of you fine folks, count us in on all the fun stuff, will you all be going to the adult clubs to dance the night away? I love to dance and with enough to drink I can be found on tabletops, in front of kareoke machines (please, please don't let me sing) or wherever my little heart desires and Brian just lets me do it, he says I am "having a good time" UH huh. Well, half of this stuff is true! I always just make the same mistake of asking him "What happened last night?" and he tells me. just like it happened. no sugar coating here. dam him. LOL We just like to have fun, hope y'all do too !!!!:sunny:
Byes for now, Lisa:crazy:

Patty....Dr Igor is  And Igor is his real first name. There's no way to pronounce his last name if you don't have a russian accent. I'm too tired to tell you about my first day with him. (My grandbaby Andrew had his poor little finger smashed in a door and we had to take him up to the ER. Poor little guy. He's okay, nothing broken but we were up there a long time) I have ALL week with the dear doctor so I'll keep you posted.

Lisa: I too have been found ontop of tables at times, but not usually during just plan old clubbing ( to old for that) but at weddings. It has become kind of a tradition gets everyone up and moving. LOL. So don't worry be happy...........that is what we are all doing there.
Tevagirl. you sound like you have a very stressful job! Can that be so?

Lisa: Go to deck 7. Go all the way to the back of the ship. You will find a door that leads you out to the fun of our wine party.
Some kids come, other's go to the clubs. Kaleigh will be there.
The landscaping is done. We have sod and beds for shrubs and a sprinkkler system in the front and sides. It looks so pretty. I can't wait to plant something. Actually, I already have. I naturalized a bunch of crocus in the front yard before they put down the sod. It should look pretty in the spring.
We leave a week from Thursday for our drive down. We are staying at WDW for a few days after the cr uise to attend the food & wine festival.
Probably no clubs or very limited clubs for us. Maybe a few quiet drinks in one of the quiet bars. We will try to pur Kaleigh in Flounders every night.

Thanks tevagirl. My DH has a desk calendar and he changed it which is where I had the website written down. After several attempts at trying to find it with no avail I finally text messaged him at work and asked. He told me the Sept. calendar was underneath the desk calendar so I lifted it up and low and behold that's where it was. I was trying to find it to print out the journal pages for my daughter and if I hadn't found it I would have had to do it tonight in between my husband checking his home email and work email. So much easier to do it when no one is home.

Katie'sduck and (possibly) Tevagirl, You will need to let me know when you will be in Portland. I live about 45 minutes away, and can come up there and wave to you when you come into port :-)
I have checked NCL's websites for cruises from Boston to Bermuda. I would love to go there sometime.
How many people will the deck 7 deck hold? It sounds like there will be quite a few of us there for the wine party. I can just see it now - the kitchen staff will wonder why they are getting 20 or more calls at 2:00 for the cheese platters. Would you like some of us to order something other than cheese platters? I haven't cruised before, so I'm not sure what else there is on the room service menu that would be nice to have at a wine party.
I am so envious of all of you who are heading down to WDW this week. Two weeks of vacation with "the mouse" ~ how relaxing is that!!!

Hello fellow shipmates.
This is my first ever forum I have signed up for. It is so cool to find a thread involving people who I will be travelling with in less than 10 days.
First off, my mother and I are venturing on our first ever cruise and of course we had to make it a Disney cruise since I like to get a little "Goofy" when I'm away from my hubbie...lol
I don't know if I can possibly get through the 1053 replies, so may I ask a dumb question?
Is anyone keeping a running tab as to how many different individuals on this thread have acknowledged they'll be on this cruise and is someone keeping track of their handles?

Welcome Aboard Cavecats! Our cruise director Julie is handling the list of cruisers. Just post your info at who is cruising, cabin # and your home state. Julie will add it to the list and send it to you iva e-mail.
Gloria: I really don't know what else room service had that would be good for a wine party. We did eat a lot of the cheese and crackers at our last wine party.

Welcome aboard Cavecats! I've been "appointed" cruise director for our cruise. Like Denine stated, if you PM me with your email address, names of who is going, cabin number, and home state I can add you to the list of cruisers who will be on board with you!
Wine party, Monday 2:30pm deck 7 aft secret deck.
Also there was mention of a dis meet for bushwackers? 2:30pm?
As for a sail away dis meet, there was mention of not having one due to those people who wanted to be at the deck party. We could have a mini dis meet at sail away if you guys wanted too. Last time we had one at the front of the ship as we set sail. Whatever you guys want to do about that is ok with me.
I will send an updated list out to those of you who have sent me your email address on Tuesday. We leave on Wed so the next time I will chat with all of you it will be in the terminal or on board!
Have a good evening!

My Mother, a septuagenarian, still likes to chase Mickey, and I,
in my late thirties for at least the past 6 years still likes to get a little "goofy" when hubby's not around. We are Canadians, (I'm the one that has the maple leaf tatooed on my ankle, so search me out....lol
Looking forward to this trip.

And I'm thinking just shorts and tees for the day:confused: I wanted to start packing so I am not waithing till the last minute. Any and all help will be great and if you could addin for the kids that would be great too.

Peg: Everyone is different for dinner. We dress to the 9's for formal and semi-formal night. We do the same for Palo night. The rest of the nights we still dress up, but not as much. Me in a dress and Jerry in a shirt and tie, except for tropical/pirate night. Kaleigh will be dressed up too. She has a lime green outfit for sail away. Shorts and tees for the day is perfect.
I am up for a sail away meet.
I am up for a bushwackers meet.
I am up for plain old meat.
Wide Awake: You will have to post your experiences with Happy Limo after you use them.
We leave 1 week from today!!!!!!

We'll be dressed up for formal night but as far as the rest of the cruise it will be capris and nice tops for me. We will also probably be somewhat dressed up for semi-formal too but not as much as formal night.
See you all Dis Boarders on the ship. We leave for the MK tomorrow! YEAH!!!!!!!!

DH and DS will be wearing black suits and I'll be wearing a floor length gown on formal night. DH and DS - nice pants, button down shirts and ties; me - your typical LBD (little black dress) for semi-formal. On casual nights DH and DS - docker type pants and polos; me - capris & nice tops or pants & blouse. During the day we'll all be wearing shorts and tees.

DH and DS will wear tuxes on formal and semi-formal nights...DS is 14 and growing like a weed, couldn't see buying him dress clothes that he wouldn't wear again. I have a long dress for formal night and 2 other dresses, black slacks and silk blouses for 2 other nights, and capri pants and blouse for the first night. I've ordered pirate costumes for all of us for pirate night...
Denine, I was thinking of telling Happy Limo I was posting the whole experience....but then I thought they'd take it as a threat. If they don't show up is it possible to buy Disney transfers at the last minute ? I would have gone with the transfers in the first place but we are cutting it close on time and I didn't want to run around with all our bags looking for the Southwest check-in.

DH and DS will wear black suits for formal and semi-formal nights. I will be wearing a floor-length gown. On other nights, DH and DS will wear dockers and polo shirts. I will be wearing casual floor-length dresses. I think the other people in my party will be wearing the same kind of clothes.
I will start packing this weekend. I am taking so much non-clothing stuff that I am not sure how much room I will have in my luggage for clothes. I always pack so much more than I need when I go on vacation. Oh well . . . just as long as I save some room for souveniers!
My DS had a question . . . if he buys alot of toys, etc., onboard for his daughter, will DCL ship it home for him? I think they will do it at WDW but didn't know if they would from the ship.

Well, we leave on Tuesday. I have lots of packing to do this weekend. Our hearts are not really in this any more. We have some absolutely horrible things going on in our family right now and the last few days have been the worst. But we need to take this vacation as there will be even worse days ahead of us.
Anyway...to everyone who is leaving in the next few day....stay safe.

Thnak-you Denine...I can relax a little.
Tevagirl...whatever is going on hope you can relax and enjoy the cruise.
I am starting to feel as if we'll be the last ones at home...we're not leaving till Friday at 11 am...the garage called and told me that DH's truck looked as if it had been hit by a train, and no, they couldn't fix it. That was a shocker...one of the tires is attached on its side, DH couldn't even take out a CD because the dash was bent so bad. I can spend the next few days arguing with the insurance company on the value of the truck...WHEN IS THAT WINE PARTY ???
My mom is flying in tomorrow, I can't wait. So I guess our vacation is sort of starting tomorrow.

wide awake ~ I'm pretty sure my family will be the last ones leaving for the cruise. I hope to have everyone (caravan of 3 cars) on the road around 8am next Saturday. That should get us to the port between 10 and 10:30am. BIL, SIL, DN and SIL's DM are arriving from NY next Thursday. FIL, MIL and GMIL are arriving from NY next Friday. They had to switch hotels because the hurricanes blew the roof off the one where they had reservations. Everything's good though.
Denise ~ I'm sorry for your family troubles. I hope you'll be able to enjoy the cruise and take a break from reality for a little while at least.

Denise, I, too, hope you can get the rest and relaxation you need on this cruise. I hope things will turn out well for you and your family.
Wideawake, I can sympathize with you. I hate dealing with claims people. Hopefully your insurance company will see that you get the best value for your husband's vehicle. If things don't seem to be going well, you may want to put a call in to your State Insurance Commissioner. I did it once, and it is amazing how well things go once you mention in conversation that you have spoken to the State Insurance Commissioner.
Sandy, I will be getting on a plane at 7:50 a.m. next Saturday morning (if there are no delays) so you might be on the road before my plane takes off. We are supposed to land in Orlando at 12:56 p.m. I'm figuring it will take a half hour or so after landing to deplane and get to the DCL (Mears) bus, so I don't think my family and I will be at the ship much before 2:30. Are they still serving lunch somewhere after 2:30? We won't get anything to eat on the flights, so we will be very hungry.
Joedadof3, My hubby and son are also excited at the Red Sox sweep. They are looking forward (hopefully) to watching the Red Sox play while we are onboard. I bet the sports bar will be full any night that there is a game on!

Hi to all,
I am finally checking back in after all these months. We met up with several Minnesota Cruisers a couple of weeks ago at OKWmeister's. What a great time. Have been following the boards but not a closely as I should have.
Lisa62064 - We are traveling with our DD 21 and DD 12 (almost 13) this will be their 3rd and 4th Disney Cruise. Maybe the girls can hook up.
Wildernessgirl - will pm you with our info. Maybe it is too late as we are all busy. If you have time to e-mail me with list and meetings that would be great, otherwise I can try OKWmeister.
We are getting in on Friday am and heading straight to the tent sales at Belz Factory outlets. Went last year the Disney Outlets sale was incredible. We are staying at the Quality suites in Cocoa Beach this year so won't see any of you until the am at the port. Gotta get in line earley to get our Palo and Spa reservations. Now the pressure is on to get us out of here.
See you all real soon.

Hi ALL !!!!
Just finished up some last minute shopping this evening....I think I am finally done buying clothes.....I am not typically a shopper but I think I have Brian worried with my current behavior ....
Boardwalk4me, that sounds fine if your DD21 doesn't mind hanging out at the health club 24/7 where my DD19 Emily will be, and your DD12 doesn't mind finding all the trouble she can possible get into in 1 week....(and I am not kidding) I'm a little nervous about the little one, maybe your DD12 will want to avoid DD14 Lydia like the plague....I know I would, she's a wild one!
Wonder how many complaints I will get....and she has been severely pre-warned....she's just so dam cute tho.
I am feeling like a princess: already !!!!!!!
I cant wait to dress all up for Formal night, and get sick eating all that yummy food.....look for me in the bathroom...my stomache is weak and can't tolerate much, but it'll sure be fun!
Anyone else staying at the Raddison? we will get in about 5pm and then go for dinner and SHOPPING I need some shorts, then to check out the pool, the picture looked awesome in the Passporter (which I still can't find dammit)
1 more day of work tomorrow for me then its time to get packing !!!!!!!! I can't wait I'm not sleeping I have so much running around in my little mind:Pinkbounc
I still have a long list of stuff to do, it seems like I will never get done! Am I the only one stressing out about all this ?!?!

Just a recap:
List will be emailed out tonight or tomorrow
Wine party will be Monday at 2:00pm on deck 7 secret deck
Sail away mini meet and greet for anyone who is interested will be around 5:15/ 5:30 in front of basketball courts.
Did I forget anything?
Bring a favorite bottle of wine to share and order the cheese platter from room service before wine party. P.S. if you also ask for a wine cork/screw they will send up a Disney cruiseline hand corkscrew with the cheese platter.
Can't wait to meet all of you!

Hi,
We received the list - THANK YOU.
Lisa62064 - DD21 (Lia) goes to the gym at least 4 times a week to work out. And is planning on doing the same plus walking around 4 deck every morning to take in the air. So it sounds like she is in the same type of mine frame. She already told me she wants to get the Sea Weed wrap from the Spa again. Plus go to the Rain Forest Room a couple of times during the cruise.
DD12 (Alisa) - Kind of a mellow, so we will have to wait & see. She is looking forward to the movies and theatre shows. Along with just hanging out.
Hoping to fly out on Friday AM, as the weather coming into Minnesota sounds cold and yucky. YEH we are going to a nice warm place!

Hi Denine,
Know what you mean about looking forward to the drive...at least you're on your way !!! We don't mind drives anyway...DS has always loved riding in the car, we listen to books on CD or music, DS sings, it is very relaxing. I wish we were leaving on Thursday...I'll still be schlepping around the house, writing learning records or shopping for accessories for some very plain dresses I'll be wearing.
Hope the wine shop at Cocoa Beach has what I want...drove right by the winery today, was too tired to even think of stopping...also didn't feel like dealing with it on the plane. I was tired because I didn't sleep last night, worried that we wouldn't have a good time on the cruise. DH just looked at me like I was an insane person when I told him...I'm the one that refused to get off the ship last year until we rebooked.

I guess I did have one little complaint about the cruise.
Sasha (at Palo brunch on Sunday) was somewhat rude to me and my family. I ordered Eggs Florentine and he brought me the Tilapia. I politely told him that I didn't order the fish and he said he wrote down "F" so I must have ordered it because he never gets it wrong. He also never explained how we were supposed to order things and would get kind of nasty if we ordered them at the wrong time.

We are back home and I had to make coffee this morning :earseek: Not sure who is going to make breakfast but I'm sure it won't be lox and bagels with fresh fruit. And a lunchtime buffet is not looking too promising, either (where are those peel and eat shrimp?)
Now to face the laundry :earseek: This could take several weeks, so I'll have to visit these boards inbetween loads for my Disney fix.
We never made it up to the wine and cheese party. It took us until Thursday to find the hidden deck and by then everyone was gone, LOL!
Hope everyone had a great time. We had a blast!

We are home and had a wonderful time EXCEPT that one of our suitcases is missing. We have three identical black Samsonite roll-ons and one of them disappeared between our room and when we got our luggage after disembarking.
This suitcase was our "extra" one that primarily held souvenirs. I hoped it would be found yesterday; I am really worried now that someone else on this cruise took it with them (probably by accident) but now is not going to return it. An almost brand-new suitcase full of new t-shirts, toys, towels, mugs, etc. It couldn't have been an old suitcase with my son's older, nearly outgrown dirty clothes. :(
A little pixie dust, please...........

We just got home this afternoon. We had a good time. Just wish that everyone didn't get sick. I am almost over what I caught before we left, Kaleigh is still sick and now Jerry has it.
So, did anyone witness Jerry's fame? He was on stage for the comedian/ventriloquist. He was known on the ship the rest of the cruise.
Did anyone go to pub night on Friday at Diversions? We laughed soo hard.
Enjoyed meeting some of you. Too bad I didn't get to meet all of you.
So, who else booked another another cruise while on board? Us and Julie booked for 10-14-2006, which I find out is cruisetoberfest IV. Should be fun!

Hi everyone. We got home on Sunday afternoon. I feel like my house is more disorganized than before I left. When does the laundry end??? Isn't Disney supposed to send someone home with you to get you adjusted back to reality? I miss my chocolate chip cookies before bedtime. I miss Mickael from France and Ivana from Croatia. Also Mukti from Idonesia.
It was nice meeting everyone we met.
Cavecats - You sound like a very interesting person and I'll be checking your website out - that is when the laundry is done. Your mom was sweet too.
Denine - Hope you and your family are on the road to recovery.
Gloria and Phil - It was a pleasure meeting you too. Love the accents.
Sandy - Didn't get to officially meet you but I did see you (does that count?)
Well gotta go. The washer is calling my name.

Denine, Yes we did see Jerry's call of fame.....that guy was too funny. Enjoyed both of his shows.
One of the guys in our group (by accident) took someone else's garmet bags!!! When he got to the airport and discovered it they got it straightened out. I guess that is what happens when Disney gives us one task.
I too was thinking about another cruise next fall, don't know yet alot going on tevagirl has a big wedding coming up for her son. That will be too much fun.........take care all julebobo

Patty ~ There was another Sandy onboard who was wearing a Home Depot green Mickey pin with her name on it. I saw her a few times. I think it was Cavecats who saw her and thought she was me. When Cavecats and I finally met she thought my MIL had been wearing my pin the day before. LOL Are you sure you saw me? The other Sandy was a heavy set woman (I'm not).
Denine ~ My DM and SF saw Jerry at the show. They thought it was hilarious. Wish I would have been there.
Who asked if they could take a picture of me and DS on Castaway Cay in front of the hurricane sign? I spoke with you a couple times on the cruise, but I couldn't remember who you were. Sorry, I have a terrible memory.

Hi all,
First off it was wonderful meeting most of you on that Monday afternoon rendez-view. I enjoyed taking "Rollcall".
I pity the people who missed seeing Gerry "the dummy". It was hilarious.
Zandy595 - I am glad you agree with me that there was another Sandy with one of those Home Hardware Stickers.
Denine, I was dining with a couple who have booked the 10/14/2006 cruise also.
I now know why you repeaters - repeat...I had an absolute blast with my DM.
Cat Chow for now!!!
p.s. if you check my profile...my fun website is listed...under travels there is a link to my webshots of this trip.

Sandy - I think it was you. You were not heavy set. You had long dark hair (I think w/bangs) kind of wavy, thin. You were standing at the very back of the ship when I saw you.

DH and I enjoyed the wine party and meeting many of you. We also rebooked before leaving the ship. We will be cruising the Western Caribbean on the 10/22/05 cruise. We will have an inside stateroom, though, and I will miss the verandah. The choice was inside stateroom in 2005 or wait until 2006 and have a verandah. I just couldn't wait the extra year. :-)

We loved Jerry! And he was a brave guy for getting up there! We picked up our pictures last night and had a great time reliving the cruise. Mom is here visiting so she is our first vacation picture "victim" - with many more to come LOL!

Kaleigh now has a double ear infection. She started on meds last night. I went back to work today.
Poor Jerry, now that we are back home no one asks for his autograph or yells out "Jerry" anymore. I guess his fame is over.
He was embarrased, but he was a good sport. He new it was coming from the time the guy started takling to him. Too bad I didn't have my video camera. Jerry is glad I didn't!

I am having serious pouting episodes...I told DH I know I am childish and greedy, but I had such a good time, and now it is over !!! Luckily we're booked on the August repo...the 10/16 cruise was just about perfect though, can't imagine having a better time or more entertaining group to chat with.
Tevagirl, hope your family situation is looking up...
Denine, hope Kayleigh is feeling better, we'll see you on Aug 20th.

Thanks, Wide Awake.
Our niece's husband died yesterday from pancreatic cancer. They have an 11 month old baby and she is 5 months pregnant. It's been very hard but he's in a much better place now. This week will be a rough one to get through but not as rough as the last few weeks. We have a lot of family and good friends (Julebobo) who have been there for Jess and Dan and the rest of the family. That helps a lot.

Denise ~ So sorry to hear about your niece's husband. :grouphug:
Guess what!? I won a pair of one-day park hopper passes to WDW yesterday. I'm also in the running for hotel accommodations for 2 nights at a WDW Resort, 12 one-day/one-park hopper passes, a private meet and greet and special VIP breakfast with Susan Lucci, ABC Super Soap Merchandise, and $50 in Disney Dollars! They pick the grand prize winner this Friday.
Has anyone ever heard of "one-day/one-park hopper passes"??? I've never bought hopper passes before, but a one-park hopper doesn't make any sense to me.
Denine

Sandy: Congrats! What did you do to win? We buy annual passes, so I don't know anything about park hoppers.
We got 2 new kitties last night. They are so sweet!

Thanks Denine. The radio station I listen to has a contest everyday called Celebrity Birthdays. They give you clues and you have to figure out who's birthday it is and call in. I had been trying for a week and finally got through. Every time there's a special event at WDW they give aways tickets.
Congratulations on the new additions to your family. Post a picture. We love kitties.
