Although I am not going on your cruise, I noticed that you guys were up to 999 replies on this thread and just wanted to put you over the 1000 mark. Great job on this thread and have a terrific time on your cruise.

THANKS for all the help. Are you guys planning on coming to the POR meet on Friday night?? Ryan and I have a bet on it! :teeth: :teeth: Anyway I have contacted your ride.net who is taking us from the airport to POR on Wed night to see if they would take us by a Publix or something to get some tonic and club soda on the way. If not we may just take you up on your offer and pay you cash for the tonic and club soda on board! You are SO SWEET to offer such a thing! Ryan and I don't dare fly with tonic water in our suitcases because in our luck it would explode. I'll let you know if they will stop by a grocery store for us..but thanks for your offer! It would be a total of like 6 bottles.nothing too major. But thanks I'll let you know!!

On to question #2....

Ryan and I are wondering if ANYONE is interested in doing a Palo brunch with us one day. We are thinking of doing one either...

Sunday May 2nd or Monday May 3rd. For the LAPLAPL it wouldn't interrupt any character breakfasts or anything. For the APLAPLA or PLAPLAP it also wouldn't interrupt character breakfasts and would be sea days for all 3 of them. If anyone is interested we plan on boarding and going right to Palo to make ressies..just let me know!!!

Ok..off to get DRUNKER (do you know how hard it is to type on Ryan's laptop *it has a wireless card* and be drunk at the same time??) anyway I Hope you are all doing well! Happy end of the weekend and next weekend we will all be having a great time!!

Hey Everyone - here I am - checked in yesterday, but no one was around.

Sounds like everyone is busy packing. I have 5 suitcases in varying stages of disarray. I need to finish the laundry before we can finish packing.

JenL - congrats on the award - I am envious of the talented scrapbookers - I just fo my best, but I'm not very creative.

Heidi - wow that is some bra. Did McKaylee get Kaitlyn's email? SHe is so anxious to meet her.

Jason - thanks for posting the pictures. Sounds like you had a nice visit and its great that you got to meet them before the cruise.

Jeff - them girls - learn the shopping bit early. I think Brenna is going to need a suitcase for shoes alone.

Kristen's cheerleading competition went well - and I spent 9 hours outside in the rain today with Kaitlyn at soccer. It was so miserable - it would rain enough to get the girls wet, then stop, they would dry off, then it would rain again. This was the last try out for the Eastern PA Olympic Development Team - we'll find out this week if she made one of three teams (this whole thing started with over 200 girls trying for 54 spots). Oh my the tension. But I figured either way we still are cruising on Saturday.

:bounce:

Time to crash - enjoy your night.

OK so I have a minute to breathe. HELLO ALL ARE YOU READY?????????????????????????????????????

The children are packed. Myself and DH are not. I put on a Reggae /Steel Drum CS today and started with the children's shoes first and ended with the DS's fromal clothes on top. One suitcase down. I packed the thermometer and the bandaids, Children's Tylenol and suntan lotion.

I went to church too (Alice was that you that said it was a Catholic thing??? Hey... you never know right?)

I ran out to Payless shoes store for loafers for my DS as his topsiders were too tight (only according to him). I got DD a pair of sparkly sandals so she looks dresssed up on formal night (I should have left her home)- She's bleeding me dry).

Now I have work tomorrow, Tues & Wed and we leave for the Polynesian at 7:30 am Thurs. I still have a tremendous amount of work to do before they'll even let me leave but the anticipation is half the fun. An the panic too:crazy:

Conny & Silke I'm glad you made it safe & sound and are having a good ole time.

Jason & Travis- We were at the flower & Garden thing at Epcot last year. Isn't it great? We loved the dragons near the international pavillion.

BTY to all you tanners-I have given up on the tan. To all the shoppers-I have not found a bathing suit either.

I cant wait to meet you all and tip a few 'tails with you all.

If I get a chance I'll write again. I think soon my DH will be planning to tell a divorce attorney that the marriage broke up because I was addicted to the the Disney Boards

I better go see what he's up to.

Take Care

Ok so the drunk lush can't stay away from the boards..go figure? Anyway...

Tammy--McKaylee JUST wrote Kaitlin back tonight! She was with my inlaws all day yesterday and we were packing most of today but she finally wrote her back before bedtime! Sorry to hear of standing in the on again off again rain! I HATE THAT!!!! Yeah my bra is HUGE..I think I'll have to give Tom an allwoance for the charge of carrying that puppy home! LOL I can't wait to meet everyone!! I'm so excited I think I might pee my pants before Saturday!!! I still have a little laundry to do on Tuesday night but for the MOST part we are packed! I hope you will meet us at POR on Friday night..it would be great for McKaylee to meet Kaitlin beforehand!!!

Jason--AWESOME PICS of the Epcot Garden!! Those are way awesome!!

Kathy--Cool about the reggae music! We listen to that either through our Digital Cable or shoutcast! I love it..it so gets me into the mood to cruise (yeah like I needed a mood)
Good job getting the kids packed.. now get busy for yourselves!!! We have the nice shoes and the nice dinner clothes so I think we are set!! Have fun at the Poly! I liked it there! We plan on no PS this time..just eating counter service until the ship (much cheaper..we went to Le Cellier in Epcot last time and it was over $150 for the 5 of us for dinner) so we plan on counter service at POR for dinner for 2 nights and the airplane for 1 night where we will buy overpriced airport food since the cheapskates DON'T feed us anything! LOL I think you just need to get DH addicted like MINE and then divorce won't be an issue! Well typing drunk is WAY too taxing so I'm off to watch the SUCKPRANOS (aka the sopranos on hbo) and then to finish matchstick men and then to bed!

I will post again tomorrow (I'm sure you are all waiting with baited breath!)

Don't worry Alice, I'll be on here until the very end! Travis and I probably won't leave for port until 8 or so on Saturday so we'll keep each other company.

You're the best.:D

Great pictures Jason, maybe you'll have time to show me how to use this "explicit" camera.

Alice was that you that said it was a Catholic thing??? Hey... you never know right?

Right Kathy! Better safe than sorry. LOL

Man, big anxiety today putting stuff in the suitcase without a list, and so many last minute details, yikes. At least the house is now straightened enough for the cleaning people to come through tomorrow. Having the house back in order will probably help.

Off to bed and at 10:06, I'm on a roll now:teeth:

Jason, the pictures are great. Stuff like that almost makes me wish I lived in Florida. But I'm a TEXAN and no place really seems like home.

Glad everyone is getting the packing done. We have the stuff hung together in the closet.

My Christmas Present to myself - the cleaning lady - comes tomorrow so am waiting till she's through to get the packing done. Paul was checking lists today and collecting flashlights, travel alarm clock, power strip, and various assorted stuff. We downloaded all the pictures from the digital camera to the computer and wiped the memory to get ready.

Called the Hyatt and verified the reservation and that they KNOW we'll be there VERY late. Tuesday I have to go online and pay the credit card bill for the cruise so we won't have any late charges if it comes while we're on vacation. Those credit cards have been shrinking the "grace" period and we're pathologically allergic to late fees--or outstanding balances either.

Called my Aunt and had a long visit with her discussing preparations and clothes etc.

Big excitement for the weekend was buying a garage door opener for my mom. Hers decided on Friday that it would self destruct. DS went by and verified that it was toast so DH and I went to Sears and got another one. My Brother will install it while we're gone. Guess what Mom's getting for mother's day?

Kathy, I think steel drum CDs are one of the things I'll probably purchase on the trip. Don't have any and I think one would be fun to evoke the "feel" of the cruise after we're back. I don't need ANYTHING to get me excited before we go. I'm having a hard enough time sleeping as it is.

ONLY 5 MORE DAYS --- actually the counter is down to 4 days and some hours.

Jason, thanks for the matrix. I printed all of them since no telling which rotation we'll have.

Robyn mentioned on the phone today that she was going to see if we could get standby reservations for Palos for Saturday night since that's the least busy night. I think after crew food and working with kids for three months, she's ready to be an adult for a while. We don't have any excursions booked. For a control freak and compulsive planner like I am, this is gonna be an unusual vacation. Winging it isn't really my style but guess I'll learn. I will say that I usually try to make flexible plans since they usually change.

Bedtime for me. Check you guys tomorrow.

Good Morning all! I have a few last minute questions bc I know that come tomorrow, we technically should all be way too busy to sit and read these posts....

These are mostly for people who have cruised Disney before but please anyone feel free to chime in:

1. Do they have strollers on board? I read somewhere that they did,but then I read they didn't.....I am thinking of when Kate wants to sleep and the rest of us aren't ready we could just throw her in the stroller with her "wankies" and let her sleep(her blankies...I know, embarassing when she is screaming I want my "wankies" at the top of her lungs).

2. I am confused about the "carry on" liquer. I have read through all these posts and many others and it seems that Disney will allow you to bring your own wine or liquer on board. My friend Patty called Disney and they said absolutely not, that they used to but since 9/11 they have had to make changed to their security policy etc blah blah blah....So, my question is, do they just say no and let you anyway? I have expensive taste in wine and don't want to pay the $$ to buy it only to have it confiscated......in front of my children:eek:

3. Has anyone taken a 3 YO on any excursions? It seems like all the fun ones are 5 an up? The Golden Eagle Catamaran sounds like fun but I refuse to leave Katie on board while we go off snorkeling... How strict are they on the ages?

4. I somehow ended up on the post where parents were venting about how bad other parents were on the cruise. I tend to think I am a good mom and try my best to raise my kids right, but I am now terrified about the kids club. Kate has been potty trained for about 8 months, #1. Lately, she has been regressing both at home and at Daycare, just with #1(she's a champ with #2). I know it is because we all just assume she can recognize the signs and go herself but she forgets sometimes when she is playing and doesn't want to leave. Am I one of those moms who is trying to sneak a non-potty trained kid into the club??? I know we have gone over this a million times but...helllppppp! The good news about Kate is that she hasn't found a public bathroom she doesn't like. In fact, we are leaving at bedtime so we don't have to stop and experience all the finest restroom facilities along the east coast which was what happened at Christmas...

Raining and cool here today and I think that is great! Now- the kids won't want to play outside and I will actually get something done.

Jennifer--

I think "technically" is the key word! :)

From the Disney Cruise Line website:

"A limited number of strollers are available for rental on board."

We've sailed three times since 9/11 and as far as I know nothing has changed in regards to Disney's policy on allowing Guests to bring beverages onboard. Disney is actually one of the few, if not the only, cruise line that does not mind if you bring alcohol and other drinks on the thier ships. They only ask that you carry it on and not to pack it in any luggage that is going to be checked.

3. Has anyone taken a 3 YO on any excursions? It seems like all the fun ones are 5 an up? The Golden Eagle Catamaran sounds like fun but I refuse to leave Katie on board while we go off snorkeling... How strict are they on the ages?

Can't really answer this one Jennifer. You may want to start a thread on this subject on the main cruise forum. Perhaps others who have children the same ages will have input or can share their experiences with you. I do hope you can attent the Golden Eagle Catamaran though! We have a pretty large group going (see *****************) and would love to have more Dis people in our group!!!

I'll let someone else address #4. Somehow I don't think I'm qualified to even start! :teeth:

Hope this info helps a little!

Jennifer,

Since they're obviously dealing with young kids on a regular basis, surely they know that even potty-trained kids have accidents on occasion. Shoot, my daughter still has one every so often. As long as it's not a consistent problem, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hey Jennifer ....
1. I am not sure about whether or not they have strollers on board. On our last cruise we brought our own stroller (since we were at WDW first) and left it on the verandah the entire cruise.
2. Jason fielded this one already.
3. They seem to be very strict about the age limits on excursions. When i called to book the Golden Eagle for Joe and I the CM on the phone took my name and room number and then punched in the number of the excursion we wanted and then told me we were unable to do that excursion because one of the members of our group was under age 5. I told her that we just wanted to book it for Dh and myself and she said fine. We will be leaving Teddy and Madalyn in the kids club while we go on the excursion... i am a wee bit nervous about this, but think things should be fine (and we have friends who are staying on board so someone will be around if need be).
4. Kids will be kids and the CM's know this. I have heard that they take the little ones to the bathroom very frequently (once an hour?) to be sure they don't just forget to go. From my own experiences and everything i have heard, i don't think Kate will have any problems.

HTH!

GOOD MORNING MAY 1 CRUISERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

I hope everyone is doing well! It's going to be a nice day here and since I am all packed I think Tanner and I will go enjoy a day at the park without the older kids home!!!

Reine--Good job on getting stuff together and getting the Hyatt called to make sure all is well. There is nothing worse than getting to a hotel late and they look at you like you just smoked crack:tongue: Cool you got mom a new garage door opener! Those are the kinds of Mother's Day Gifts I always dream of (just kidding...I'm in giddy mode today) but that is good that it will get put in while you are gone!! Cool about DD and Palo and I'm sure she does want to be a grown up for awhile now! I have wanted to be a grown up for years but have yet to achieve that status!:teeth:

Alice--I KNOW..it's so AWESOME!! LOL My kids are starting to not sleep well last night and I'm sure tonight and tomorrow are going to be pure torture on them...they will be on me for sure! I had a full blown panic attack in the middle of the night and thought I was going to end up in the emergency room with a heart attack...then I took 1/2 of an Ambien and things were better!

Philly Jen- I'll be here tomorrow and Wednesday so if you have any other things to talk about I'll be around! Some of the answers are:

1. If you have a stroller that would be more comfortable for Kate I'd bring it. We brought our jogging stroller (yep we are one of THOSE park type people when we had small kids) and we had the one room and we just moved it around when we needed to or put it on the balcony. If you have an umbrella stroller it would be easy and that way you could make sure you had one in case Disney runs out. LOL about the wankies! My kids are ALL wankie kids too! I think McKaylee has 8 or 9 and Miles has the equivalent of that many blankets in stuffed animals and he has a blanket and Tanner has equal amounts of both...wankies and animals. Rule is they can only bring 1 of each!!

2. I think your friend just got a rude customer service person on the phone because I called them earlier in the year and they said no problem. I think Disney is the only "liberal" cruiseline that will let you bring drinks on without smuggling them. I plan on bringing some on with me (I hear all of you say NO in a sarcastic voice out there!) LOL

3. They are way anal strict about the ages on the excursions! I wouldn't even try it to be honest! I know we wanted to do the Dolphin Swim in Freeport through Disney but they would only let us do the encounter because Tanner wasn't old enough and there was no bending the rules at all.

4. I wouldn't let that parent post get you all in a bother! I swear some of the people on that thread are so weird! We saw out of control kids sure but where DON'T you see out of control kids these days??? I wouldn't worry too much about it. Also if you check Kate into the clubs tell them what you told us. Also I'd take her to the bathroom before you take her and then maybe go back and check on her in an hour or 45 min or something and take her to keep her dry. They do scheduled potty breaks but if you are worried about it go check on her. I know an accident they will just page you for it but I think you'll be surprised at how well she will do after a day or two. I'd go check on her a few times and take her potty yourself but I'm sure she'll be fine! I think with the kids they took them to the bathroom at scheduled times but really if you are worried about her (you know her habits...like how often she goes in a day) then go check on her. They won't kick her out of the clubs for one accident..as that happened with Tanner on our 4 day cruise but I'd make sure you tell them what you told us. No one is going to think you are "sneaking" her in and if they do so what...you know you didnt! Some people will nitpick on the disboards about EVERYTHING no matter what! LOL about her loving public bathrooms! It seems our kids do too..everytime we leave we ask if they need to go..they say no or they go and then no matter where we go they HAVE to go there! LOL Don't sweat the small stuff!!

Amber that cake is AWESOME!! It looks so good to eat!!! I am starving so it looks doubly good! LOL

JenL- As long as someone who knows your kids is on the ship I"m sure they will be fine. We've told our kids that on St. Marten we are going to go to the beach for awhile and then if they want to go back to the clubs that's fine but we are going to go shopping! I agree with you about Kate not having problems! I think the parents on that thread and many others on the board are just a wee bit sensitive and dramatic!!

It's nice and warm and sunny here today so I think me and Tanner might go to the park for an hour or so and then come home and take a nap!:teeth:

I'm sure I'll be back on here again in a few hours!

I have been hesitant to post to this board because you guys seem like such a close group, BUT I am so excited about cruisin'! We will be leaving on Friday morning (5:00 AM). There are 12 of us going, so we will be caravanning in 2 cars. At least I have a van for my six! The other is a car...YUCK. Three in the front and three in the back, and only one of them is a child. We are bringing a boatload (pardon the pun) of Disney movies to watch in the car. Not that we need to get any more excited!!! I am a cheapie and bought a hookup to convert our 13 inch home TV to the cigarette lighter.

We are staying in Jacksonville Friday night and will drive on to the Port on Saturday morning. Six of us are Castaway Cay Club members and the other six are not. Are we going to need to stand in 2 different lines? What time should we be there? I don't want to be the last people on!!

I am so excited about meeting all of you! My children are anxious to meet some new friends so if you have any children around the ages of mine, let me know and maybe they can email or set up a time to meet. My son Jonathon is 9, but will be 10 in about 3 weeks. My daughter Leslye is 6, but will be 7 in about 2 weeks. I happen to thing they are pretty good kids. They are usually polite with the yes maam's and stuff. We get complimented on them often about how well-behaved they are. Although, I have yet to see it at home!! I guess out in public is more important than at home! I am telling you this so you won't be worried about your kiddos talking to them.

Anyway, see all of you on Saturday!!!

Watch out Caribbean, here we come!!!

Welcome Julie B... :Pinkbounc

No worries on this thread. Just watch out ofr pirates as our resident MonkeyBoy usually says. pirate:

Jason's right all May first cruisers are welcome!!! Come step to the dark side ummm.. I mean join us for some fun as everyone starts gearing up and getting all the last minute packing done.

Love the pics BTW Jason! And that is hilarious that our thread won't come up on a disney terminal.

Heidi... Heeeiiiiiidiiii, I didn't know you were planning to bring booze on board.

Great weekend... while the scraphappy wife was off winning prizes I was home playing mister mom. Took the kids to the YMCA to get them into swimming shape. Then out to dinner, since I had eaten everything left in the house. Oh and lazy me decided to give them a bath in our master bath tub. It has whirlpool jets, so I figured it would act as a sort or washing machine and I wouldn't have to scrub them down as hard. And wouldn't you know it worked. Course now I don't think they will ever use the regular tub again.

Well only a few more days of this @&%!* I call work :badpc:. And what a busy few days it's going to be. So i better have at it. :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

Whew...what a weekend! One Brownie/Daisy swimming party, one birthday sleepover party, one Daisy field trip to Ronald McDonald house, one soccer game, three tanning appointments, one First Communion party and a partridge in a peartree!!! I'm glad the weekend is OVER...this week will fly by and pretty soon I'll have my butt glued to the front seat of a Chrysler Town & Country for 18 hours!!!

I have not packed one damn thing yet...I just keep making little piles of clothes and other cruise stuff so now I can hardly walk through the whole upstairs level of my house! I know that I am going to have to put it all in suitcases sooner or later (the sooner the better), but I just can't keep from procrastinating! I am a total last minute packer and it drives Tom (the bra-finder) crazy!!! But I always manage to get it done!

Looking forward to having drinks, ooops I mean meeting, by the pool on Saturday afternoon!!! Yippie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's give JULIE and her BUNCH A TEXAS SIZE WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO glad you decided to post Julie! We are only a "tight"group because some of us have no other life so we've been on here obsessing for 250+ days! LOL You and your group are SO welcome on here! WE LOVE new members!! We've had several join in just the last few weeks so it's always great to get more people!!! The drive sounds miserable to me however but I AM a self-described pansie while driving with children and the thought of driving with 5 adults in 1 car makes me shudder!! We at one time did the tv/vcr thing from home but bought a converter to use it in the car because we lost the regular cord! LOL Then on the way home from a camping trip last Memorial Day weekend going through a windy canyon (I was driving as Ryan aka monkeyboy tends to fall asleep at the wheel) and I came around a bend in the road. Thankfully I was NOT speeding but we came around the corner and lo and behold a GIANT MOOSE was standing there in the road. I swerved to miss it and thankfully I did cause if I would have wrecked my brand new Tahoe I would have been furious but the tv/vcr slid around and ended up never working again! LOL So beware of the moose! As for standing in 2 different lines you don't HAVE to go the CC line you can go to the regular line all together but I don't know if they can go in the CC line with you but what do I know...this is only my 2nd time! LOL

I have a son who is 9 who would LOVE to meet up with someone before going into the club. His name is Miles and he turned 9 in January. I also have a 10 year old girl named McKaylee. We are having a disboard meet at 3:30 at the goofy pool on deck 9 if you are interested in bringing the kids to meet some of our kids. I know there are a couple of other 7 year olds and quite a few 6's and some 8's so I'm sure that both of your kids will be able to find someone from the group to hang with!!! Your son can pm my Miles anytime between now and Wed. afternoon as that is when we leave but please try to plan on at least meeting us at the Goofy pool at 3:30..it would be fun to get more kids involved!!

Bow Tie Joe--You got it right about watching for those pirates....I watch for them a lot as they like to be sneaky!! We only have about 30 more things to pack so neener neener neener!! LOL Only 50 more hours for us!!!

I'm just going to be following you with the amount of booze we are bringing on board...then we can all get ripped together!!

ROFLMAO at you putting the kids in the jetted tub...we do that with our hot tub A LOT but we had to drain it since the water was nasty and I kept getting Hot Tub Folliculitis which sucked so we bagged it for awhile and drained it!!! Only a few more days til we will all be on board that ship....the poor people who DON'T know us are in for a real rowdy treat! LOL

Ok..off to load dishwasher and take a nap!

Hey Julie...Ok you win the award for the busiest crappiest weekend while Tammy wins it for standing outside in the elements freezing her hiney off for the weekend! I kept putting off the packing too but Ryan finally made me do it and it took 2 weekend days to get it all done! Man it is HARD to pack up 5 people for 10 days!! EEGADS what was I thinking...Ryan and I should have just left the kids home! LOL Ok gluing your butt to the car just doesnt sound like a really good idea..I'm sure you could smuggle quite a bit of stuff on the ship but I don't know if they'd take you with a Town & Country seat glued to your butt as extra baggage very well!:teeth: Oh yeah and 18 hours EWWW...I just have to read about all of you driving and then the thought of 4 hours on an airplane with Tanner just doesn't seem like such a big deal!:teeth:

We are looking forward to plastering our butts in the deck chairs and sipping drinks as well....maybe we'll luck out and get a bunch of chairs together for all us rowdies!!!

Ok NOW I'm off to unload my dishwasher and take a nap!

Actually, Heidi, I think my bank account wins the award for crappiest weekend! :scared1: Though I suppose you'll disqualify my bank account on some obscure technicality in the by-laws...

JulieB, welcome :) I have a daughter (Alyssa) who is almost 6. She's a bit on the shy side, but looking forward to meeting new kids (it's the adults that make her shy).

My kids are also getting very excited about meeting new friends. I told Jonathon about Miles and McKaylee and Leslye about Alyssa. They can't wait to meet at Goofy's pool. What is the weather supposed to be like? I keep seeing rain, rain, rain. I don't mind a little bit, but will the trip be ruined if it rains all the time? Or does it rain a little each day? I don't mean to sound whiney, but I want SUNSHINE dang it!!!

ROFLMAO...damn those Visa bills!! Ok so now you and Jeff both win with the money bills and checking account drain for crappy weekend on that front!!!!

I can see it at the Tom and Julie house...

Girls see all these pennies daddy has in his hand...there are 300000000000 of them. I'm going to take you girls outside and throw them into the grass and you cant come in until you find them all...whatever you find you can keep and help mommy pay the Visa bill with later on this month!

Goes inside...and the sh** hits the fan where Julie's name now turns into Dammit Julie! ROFLMAO

Julie replies...Yeah but look how cute YOUR girls will look in these $2000 dollar sandals and matching dresses

Where Tom instantly melts and agrees that it was worth the $$$ !!!!

Sheesh between clothes, bills, scrapbooking, home remodel and booze along with every other expense we've all incurred we could almost cure the national debt between all of us

Julie aka 2kids--My kids aren't home from school yet but I'm sure they will be excited to meet more kids as well!!! Miles will be SO happy to see another boy even remotely close to his age!!! As for the weather I feel like you do..I mean I go on vacation for SUN AND WARM!!

Doing a weather search

Orlando for us on Thur is Partly Cloudy with 82 degrees
Friday is Isolated T-Storms (hope they are really isolated as we got into torrential rains in Orlando last time and they sucked) and a high of 85 degrees and only a 30 percent chance of rain.

Saturday at Port Canaveral it shows Isolated t-storms as well with high at 84 and 30 percent chance of storms

St. Marten it's hard to say since they only go 5 days out but I would plan on off again on again rain just because in the Caribbean that is SO typical

St. Thomas on Wed shows Partly Cloudy and 86 degrees with a 30 percent chance of a storm

Fri for CC it doesnt show yet but on Wed it says Partly Cloudy and 82

It better be mostly sunny or I'm going to freak out since our last cruise was cool to cold and rained on CC day. I hope it stays sunny and doesnt make it so we can't dock at CC!!!

My Wife is right about the Visa bill, I was just surprised that she went out and booked a category 1 for our cruise (at least that is what the amount of the bill came to). I have to go sell something, actually a bunch of somethings to make up for the Visa bill. I guess I could look at it this way, at least we will have a bunch of Disney reward dollars to redeem.

Hey everyone--

Important Notice

I noticed a slight error on the cruise matrices at *****************. They list High Tea on Sunday, Monday, and Friday from 4 P.M. - 5 P.M. when the times should actually be Sunday, Monday, and Thursday from 3:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.

I went back through my Personal Navigators from last year to make sure this info is correct. Sorry for any confusion! Palo High Tea is only offered on the Sea Days on the Eastern Cruise.

I'm so sorry!!!

Bad, bad, bad, bad Jason!

Jason,

You are forgiven, after all at least you know how to get pictures on to your posts. That cruise matrix rocks BTW, I think you deserve huge kudos for the Three Circles website.

Heidi,

Jules and I do have a love hate relationship, she loves to shop and I hate the bills. Both of the pictures happen to be from the same night, and I am quite a salesman, I ended up with everyone of the ladies BRA's on my head that evening (my parents are so proud).

We have some friends who are going with us, Steve and Laura with their 8 year old daughter Madelyn, that we told about this board. They are supposed to be checking it out tonight so if everyone could give a shout out to PANGO (his nickname) and make him feel welcome we might end up with another poster.

Tom--ROFL about the love/hate thing! I'm the same way with Ryan and speeding tickets (sorry babe..love ya!) but he loves to speed that Infiniti down the road and I hate paying the tickets and sending him to traffic school.

As for the pics it looks like the queen *I think that was her...I only saw a pic of her straight on and non-snockered* had some kind of a contraption in her hand like a real drinking game should have! LOL As for getting all the bras..you already KNOW You an have mine...just pretend to be Tom JONES and I'm sure I'll chuck it at you (or as Bowtie Joe so affectionately said..slingshot it). I just have 1 thing to say about the weather...Partly cloudy in the islands means something totally different than partly cloudy in Philadelphia. They think it is partly cloudy when there are like 2 clouds in the sky....I'll take it.

We are going to have great weather cause my sister isn't coming with us. She is the goddess of rain and all around sh$#@! weather. Everywhere she goes......

I think I'm going to have to post SEVERAL replies cause I'm too old to read 4 pages and keep what I want to say in my head. This thread exploded while I was at work today.

Both Jens, no sweat about the clubs and the kids with you on excursions. Just be sure to tell the CMs what time you expect to be back and what excursion you'll be on. That lets them set the kids expectations correctly if they ask about you.

Don't sweat the potty stuff. Since Robyn is a CM in the Club, I read all the threads about kids and the clubs. Some of the folks posting are wierd as Heidi says. They have to document like crazy before they can take any action about kids not being potty trained so it would be the chronic wetters that they weed out...you know the ones that really haven't EVER been potty trained and their parents are just too selfish to face reality. And none of us are that blind. They understand that accidents happen and they'll just page the parents to come bring clean clothes. Remember that THEIR job is to help the KIDS have a MAGICAL time. And they're really good at it.

About the excursions. If the kids have some daycare or preschool or Sunday school experience, they won't come unglued if they spend several hours our of your presence as long as they're safe and well cared for. And I can assure you that although Robyn won't be in the club on our cruise - she'll be a guest like the rest of us - the other CMs love kids just as much as she does and they'll take great care of the little ones.

Enough soapbox. I just hate to see folks getting upset and worried because some other posters post stuff that's not exactly true. Messes up your enjoyment of the planning for your cruise.

Heidi-that picture of you(and Ryan for that matter) looks nothing like your family picture. Which Heidi should we be looking for? Nevermind-the bars aren't that big;) I hope I don't chicken out on the meet, this all seems a little surreal...

Anway, since I am going on a cruise on Saturday I decided to have a light evening snack while reading my boards. Light in the sense that it weighed slightly less than my youngest daughter... I had an entire Panera turkey bacon sandwich(only 1000 cal. and about 40 grams of fat) and a gigantic piece of the costco cake we got for Kate's party. WHAT WAS I THINKING????? BTW- did I mention we went to Wendy's for dinner? I must be in some sort of vacation denial....

Amber, wonderful cake. I wish I could have a cake like that for my birthday but we'll be at WDW so I'll just enjoy the trip.

JenLyn, the scrapbook page is great. I'm doing good if I have all the pictures in the same box!

Julie, welcome to the group. You kind of just have to jump right in but we're a very welcoming group. What part of God's country (otherwise known as Texas) are you from. In case you haven't figured it out, I'm a native Texan. We used to say that you should never ask anyone where they were from. If they were from Texas they would tell you. If they weren't you don't want to embarrass them.:rotfl: From anywhere in Texas to Jacksonville is a quite a haul.... you folks have a safe trip.

Joe, too hilarious about using the jetted tub as a kiddo washing machine. But you may be right, you may have started something dangerous. But on the other hand, you can use a bath in Mommy and Daddy's tub as a reward for exceptional behavior or something.

Well I started this post an hour ago and then got interrupted. with a nice surprise.

:cloud9: Robyn called from the ship. Someone had given her a "left over" ship to shore card and she found out she had more minutes that she thought so she gave me a call. She had just gotten her new contract and knew I'd want to know all about it. Had a nice visit. I do enjoy talking to my DD so this was a nice treat. ::MinnieMo

Welcome Pango, Just so you know, there are a few of us that are just fun, but not wild and crazy. I think DD's favorite hangout is Cove Cafe. She's a Starbucks addict and the Cove Cafe is the closest thing on board.

Glad everyone's getting packed. I think I have everything clean but it's not in any bags yet. Oh well I still have two nights. Have a ministry I participate in tomorrow night so no packing. That leaves Wednesday and Thursday. I won't sleep worth a flip on Thursday night without Benedryl and Valium (sometimes I wish I had developed a taste for Alcohol) so if I'm up late packing that's OK.

Jason, I'll be here till the bitter end since our flight doesn't leave till 9:07 on Friday night. I'll probably shut down the computer at 4:30 or 5:00 on Friday.

What a group. Glad to welcome all the new posters. If everyone shows up for the DisMeet we'll have 23 or more families. By my quick count that's between 85 and a hundred folks.

Woo hoo

Look at that counter go---down to less than 4

So Excited!
So Excited!
So Excited!
So Excited!
So Excited!

Is it time to leave yet? My panic is slowly drifting away and giving way to excitement!!! And believe it or not, i am also already a little sad about the having to disembark thing! Can't they just let me stay on board for an extra week or two (or three?)

We are leaving on Friday Jason, so we will probably log-off Friday afternoon at about 12noon (eastern time). Til then we'll be here.

Welcome to the group Pango!

And thanks everyone for your congrats on my scrapbooking prize .. i was just so excited!!

Well, it is late here on the east coast and i have a few more errands to run tomorrow morning while Madalyn is in school (need to get pillow cases for the characters to sign).

And please, please, please, please tell me that the R word hasn't been mentioned ... it is going to be warm and sunny ... right? Jason? Heidi? Julie? Please, someone tell me we are going to have warm beautiful weather!

Have a safe trip Lisa!

Talk to ya'll tomorrow!!

I am from a little town called Groves. It is about 90 miles east of Houston. Any further east and we would be part of Louisiana, and any further south we would be part of the Gulf of Mexico. I can't believe it is countdown time. I actually started packing! It makes it seem that much more real.

Welcome Pango, now I am not the newbie anymore.

The only "R" words I am going to claim are REST and RELAX!! I keep telling my kids that I am going to check them in on the 5th floor on Saturday and check them out again next Saturday.

Can't wait to meet everyone on Saturday AT THE POOL!!!

Good Grief, It's Morning.:tilt:

Anyway, woke up in the middle of the night so figured I'd check the thread to give my internal thermostat time to reset.

JenL, it's not widely publicized (a Magical surprise) but they give your kids a pillowcase if they attend Pluto's Pajama Party in the Club. I'd probably go ahead and get my own pillow cases just to be on the safe side but thought you might want to know in case your day becomes unreasonable busy.

JulieB, at least being almost in Louisiana means you have less of Texas to cross on your way to Orlando. Just imagine the drive if you were coming from El Paso:headache: On the other hand, maybe you don't want to even think about THAT drive.

OK, I'm cool now so guess I'll get back to bed. Trying to get as much sleep as possible early in the week cause I know that Thursday night will be next to impossible
I'LL BE TOO EXCITED
I'LL BE TOO EXCITED

Good Morning Fellow Cruisers,

Three days from now we'll be sitting at the airport!!

Welcome aboard Pango and Julie B - this is quite a crazy bunch, but as Reine said were not all that wild. I'm hoping I have enough nerve to attend the DIS meet as well, my DH and I are the quiet ones, will more than likely sit back and take in all the excitement.

Got up early this morning to try and finish the wash, so we can finish packing tonight. One last trip to Walmart this evening for things that I forgot and we should be set. I don't know how I am goping to make it through the next 3 days of work. I work 5 hours a day and yesterday was pure torture.

We are leaving Thursday night to drive to the airport, so I'll be here all day Thursday, bit I imagine it will be quiet.

Amber - love the cake!

Happy Packing!

Morning all! Ok- my "snack" last night made me gain 2 lbs.....I am afraid to step on the scale but I can't bend my fingers so I am taking that as a bad sign.

Busy Busy day today. Golfing with my old boss at 11;) My husband(and everyone else who knows me) joke about my work habits. The song 9-5 came on the radio the other day(I know right? Like 20 years later). My hubby laughed and said they need to rewrite the song to suit my work schedule "working 10-12, what a way to make a living....."::yes::

Another stupid question....I know, no stupid questions just stupid people!!! Anway, I started to fill out my documents last night and wasn't sure how I should handle the kids. Should I fill them out as though it was my name on the document book? I've read on these threads that they need to be completely filled out or else.......

Went tanning yesterday, only my third time but it is tough to fit it in with all the shopping etc... I have been doing lately. It looks like my nose was the only thing in the booth. How does that happen? I guess next time I should wear some sunscreen on my nose. So if there is any question who the Philly Jen family is, just look for Rudolph and my girls. I suppose I should post a picture in case we chicken out, one of you guys can drag us to the meet.

It sounds like we are getting to the port pretty early, I bet we will even meet before 3:30.

Never mind-can't figure it out. The girls will have matching bright pink dresses on...I will be the crazy mom screaming at Kate with a drink in my hand.....

Now I have to go find my golf clubs(not an avid golfer but I'll do anything to get out of working for a day.):teeth: And yes, Pirates.....sometimes anything really means "anything".......Kidding! Just thought I'd throw that in to spice up my post this am....

Ohhh- for the martini drinkers out there, I just bought the best pair of seersucker pants- with embroidered Martinis on them, complete with the olive! Can't wait to wear them. Maybe I should wear those on saturday so I can be "found".

Have a great day everyone.

I'm getting very anxious about the flight..I HATE TO FLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know - I hate it, we actually drive every other trip because the anxiety over flying about ruins the trip. It's a 20 hour drive and I'm the only one doing the driving. I think we are going to fly from now on though because Linds has her DL and will probably want to help me drive :earseek: I would rather take my chances flying (you know I'm kidding Linds, really;) )

I think DD's favorite hangout is Cove Cafe. She's a Starbucks addict and the Cove Cafe is the closest thing on board.

Reine do you know if they use Nescafe at the Cove? Do they make fresh (not instant) espresso?

I'm hoping I have enough nerve to attend the DIS meet as well, my DH and I are the quiet ones, will more than likely sit back and take in all the excitement.

Tammy that's the beauty of this group, different personalities and characters and the chance to participate at whatever level you're comfortable. Trust me at 46 I'm not going to be losing my bra or doing back flips down the deck (no objection to those that feel the need however:D ) So I hope to see you guys, I look forward to meeting you and all the other families that have checked in on this thread even if you haven't posted.

Well, I'm sure I'll have 90,000 posts to read after work, but I look forward to it:D

WOW I go to bed and wake up to 2 pages of stuff to read! I LOVE IT!!! I should be starting my last minute preparation like house cleaning, last minute laundry, cleaning out my fridge, all that kind of stuff but no here I sit hour after hour hoping for someone else to be on here giving me something else to read! I LOVE to procrastinate when it comes to cleaning my house or doing laundry or cleaning my fridge!

Reine--how great that DD got to call you last night! I'm sure that is such a treat!! Only a few more days and you will get to see her in person again! I bet you can't wait!!! I guess I"ll have to bribe the kids to go to the Pajama Party so they can get a new pillowcase. They are all 3 bummed at me because Ryan and I are taking our *old person* pillows but they can't take theirs. I told them they should just be happy we included them on a cruise and shut their traps:teeth: Well since we leave tomorrow my butterflies have started kiciking into high gear so last night and tonight will be Ambien nights for me!! I take one of those puppies and in 20 min I am out with no memory of ever falling asleep! I love it for times like this!!!

Julie B--Good job on the R words...usually our house the R words are never used so it will be nice to use them for a few days! We usually only use the bad initials at our house (*kind of like Tom and Julie's Daughters newest language*) so we have some letters that are widely used. I'm so excited to meet up with everyone and Miles was thrilled to get Jonathons PM!

Tammy--30 hours from now we will be boarding our plane :earseek: heading to WDW!!! I can't wait to get the plane trip down overwith! I hate dealing with Tanner for more than an hour at a time in a confined spot so this should be hard!!! You guys better NOT chicken out of this meet! McKaylee will be heartbroken to not meet Kaitlin on Saturday. You and hubby can sit back and be "demure" we won't care...heck even I will be demure the first day...but after that watch out! One thing I think everyone needs to know is that if you show up and you aren't comfortable for whatever reason or it isn't your cup of tea...don't feel bad about going to get ready for the lifeboat drill early..no one will chastise you for it (at least to your face!) I'm kidding! Really it would be fun to meet even for 20 seconds!! After all this time together it would be a shame not to at least say HI...but I understand because I get a little nervous as well. ANd I'm sure you all will not believe me but I am actually very shy! Honest to God I am! I am just feeling much more confident after 215 days with you all than I would if I just met you. That's one of the reasons I requested a table just for our family because I hate meeting new people and making small talk! ::yes:: I don't know how I'm going to make it through today and 1/2 of tomorrow although Tomorrow Ryan is home all day so that should help. Just need to get through til 5:30 tonight basically..then the gin can flow a little bit and then it will be the day we leave!

Philly Jen--The package of Turtles I ate last night helped me gain a few extra pounds today too! Oh well it's all of YOU who have to look at me! LOL Your "snack" sure did sound good last night though!!! WHen Ryan went to Philly for work he would always bring home some Cannoli and mmmmmmmm it's a good thing we can't get that here! The chocolate Cannoli he got was so damn good!! I could eat a ton of them!!!!!! Wish I was playing golf today! I suck at it but I love it anyway!!!! Maybe next spring I will be able to get out and play with Tanner in Kindergarten every day! Your job sounds so "hard" that I think you may need an extra drink while on board to make up for all that laborious work! I filled the kids out just like they would have and had the older kids sign them and then just signed Tanner's. I figure I can't be the only stupid one trying to fill these things out before we leave right??? Good job on the tanning! I am finished with the booth since my next 2 days will be filled with trying to get my "mansion" cleaned and sitting here waiting for the next post! You better not chicken out of the meet! Now we get closer and everyone starts getting cold feet...OH NO YOU DONT! I will find you.. I will scream out PHILLY JEN, PHILLY JEN or TAMMY Or whomever else is missing!!!!! Of course if you do wear those martini pants I'm sure Alice and Monkeyboy will seek you out!! LOL Only 4 more days til we meet!!! We will be at the port at about 11:15 or so. Our limo is picking us up at POR at 10 and then we have the comp stop at the liquor store to STOCK Up and then we will be there..hopefully no later than 11:15! We will go on board, right to the "free" lunch and then to the pool until it's time to go back for lifejackets! I'll be the one yelling TANNER KNOCK IT OFF and CABANA BOY BRING ME ANOTHER DRINK DAMMIT! You'll find us!

Alice--I use to love to fly until just before 9-11 when we flew to Miami for a carnival cruise and it was such a miserable flight for some reason. Then of course we were in DL on 9-11 so that always goes in my mind and now with flying and Tanner and the kids ear problems...lets just say I'll be glad to get on land both times!!! Can't wait til Friday! Can't wait til Friday!! Can't WAIT til Friday!!!! I promise not to sling my bra or do back flips on the first day...now subsequent days I cannot control but the first I will be totally in control!!:teeth: ::yes::

POR HERE WE COME
POR HERE WE COME
POR HERE WE COME

ANd Conny and SIlke better be darn prepared!!! LOL
I'll try to help with the 9000 post count for you for later ok????

Brenda--Glad to see all is well and that you are packed and ready to leave!!! Can't wait to meet up with all of you guys!!!

I'm so excited I can't even function anymore!!!
Until later (like 30min later is all i can stand)

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

I woke up today and it is S***ing, all I can think about is at this time next week we will be in St. Marten enjoying ourselves on a beach. I have to take Linds to Softball practice at 5:30 followed by soccer practice at 6:30, and I am going to freeze my A** off (too bad we didn't freeze our beer guts off).

I would also like to welcome the newbies (PANGO you stud, Julie B), and Tracey and Brenda good to read you again (Tracey hope you are feeling better, being sick on the cruise will not be tolerated). If anyone chickens out for the meet at the Goofy pool, the PIRATES will hunt you down and the consequences will not be good.

Queen, you had better be packin, and cancel the cleaning lady no need to clean an empty house (we pretty much always take everything we own), therefore we will have more money for other things.

I think we need a roll call for everyone, time to check in to the thread before we start losing more people to the countdown clocks.

Thank GOD more posts to read instead of doing what I should be doing and that is CLEANING MY HOUSE and getting the Monkey's laundry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tracey--I am SO sorry to hear you've been sick! I'm still sick with my cold as well and can't seem to shake it. It's almost as if I have a touch of the flu that makes you ache all over and just kind of weak!! I hope we all get feeling better...I find that nothing can help cure you feeling under the weather like a good stiff one! *DRINK....geez*

Tom--It's a balmy 70 degrees here today, got the windows open, Tom Jones blaring on the Stereo and am counting down the minutes til Ryan gets home from the hellhole known as work! LOL I agree about sending the Piratespirate: hunting down all you people who don't show up! They may make you walk the plank you know!!

Monkeyboy...the QUEEN gets a cleaning lady..I want one too!::yes:: She has 3 kids just like me but she doesn't have to clean her house...and QUEEN tell me how you got that deal going so I can do the same!!!!!!!!

ROFL that you take your house with you....see that's when you should FLY so that you would have to pack light or face the $5000.00 fine for overloaded luggage! LOL

You KNOW I'll be here until the bitter end (or 3pm Utah time whichever comes first tomorrow) so no need to look for me to check in!!!!

Ok..off to preschool, laundry and then to clean! PLEASE SOMEONE for the love of god write in again so I can sit down and read more!

OMG Heidi .. I just realized that your countdown is 0 days!!! YIPPEEEE!!!!! Are you packed and ready to go? I am sure the kids are as excited as can be. Every day Teddy tells me how many days are left til we go to the airport and how many days til we go to the cruise (i think he finds it funny that it isn't the same number of days).

I am wavering between panic and excitement ..... am i really going to have everything ready in time?

And i just thought it only fair to share a picture of Bow-Tie Joe enjoying himself in Jamaica ... it can join the pics of Heidi and Ryan and Julie and Tom in the 5/1 partying Hall of Fame (or is that Hall of Shame?) ;)

I seem to recall having read this somewhere, but I can't find it. I am trying to make a "cruisin" CD to get me more excited (as if that is possible). Actually it is for travelling. What are some good songs that you would put on it if it were yours?

Hello All,
I am finally posting so I won't have to do a walk-of-shame around the Goofy pool. I haven't started packing but I do great under pressure. Heidi, do I really have to clean the refrigerator too before I leave??
We are really excited around the Jennings house. We're leaving Thurs AM around 9:00 and driving about 9 hours to Cocoa Beach. We have some very good friends who live there. The cruise nightmares have begun and I was wondering if Heidi could email me some Ambien.?? LOL
I am so excited to meet everyone,..we will be there!!!!,,..me, my son Noah, and my wonderful husband who had to give up his life at sea as a pirate years ago. But he can still drink rum!!

Oh I am having such a dilemma!! Should I drink wine, party and read the disboards tonight or should I clean my house, refrigerator (thanks Heidi), and start packing???? Oh what to do what to do?? Let's see,...i think I will have one little glass of wine( you know that is homework since I'm studying to be a sommelier?) and then decide. This is sort of an informal poll, but any advice would be appreciated. I guess I'll start my "homework" and check back with you all later.

How about a combination of the two, Allison? Drink some wine, read the boards and pack! Don't worry about the house and the refrigerator! That is exactly what i plan on doing!! (though i may exchange the wine for a white russian). Joe is out playing softball this evening and i am putting the children to bed early and going to pop in the cruise video and pack. Of course i'll be checking in and out from the boards too ... not much time left with Heidi around here! :)

And Allison, Joe and i were talking about this the other night .. how does one learn to be a sommelier?

Happy packing everyone!

I'm so glad to see that many of you won't be leaving until Friday afternoon or evening. Alice and I thought we were going to be the only ones left on the boards!

Tracey--

Sorry to hear that you and Logan aren't feeling that well. Make sure you give yourselves plenty of rest so that you'll be 100% by the time the cruise comes around. Drink plenty of orange juice! ::yes::

Julie (B.) :) --

We always make a cruise CD before leaving too! Here are some songs we tend to use...

Kokomo, Beach Boys
Giligan's Island theme song
Stir It Up, Sweat, No Woman No Cry, One Love, Don't Worry Be Happy, all by Bob Marley (and anything else by him too!)
Island In the Sun, Weezer
Red, Red Wine, UB40
Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo, Tracy Byrd
YMCA, Village People (Sailaway Celebration song)
Margaritaville, Jimmy Buffet (Again, anything else by him too.)
Hey Baby, D.J. Otzi (Sailaway Celebration song)

Allison--

Thanks for all you support in making my decision. I am having a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc as we speak (my instructor would be so proud):sunny: I can't pack, I can't clean, I am just too excited to do anything responsible, (except "homework", of course).

JenL-
The technical college in my area offered this program through the International Sommelier Guild. They have a web site. I really enjoy it but it is a lot more difficult than I ever thought. We did a blind tasting on our first final exam and had to name the grape variety, country and region the wine was from. Heh!!! I got the grape variety right. So needless to say, I need to do A LOT of "tasting" while I'm on vacation.

I am putting off all my responsibilities until tomorrow. With my luck, everyone will be busy packing, cleaning, and organizing to chat with me. Why, I'll bet that Heidi is cleaning her D#@% refrigerator as we speak.

Oh well!! Talk to y'all soon!! Allison

I can't imagin how hard it must be to name the region that a wine grape comes from just by tasting the wine!

Here's a little-known wine fact: Did you know that Walt Disney World Resort has more certified sommeliers than any other company? (Keep in mind that Disney Cruise Line is actually folded into the Walt Disney World branch of the Walt Disney Company. Hey, that's another little-known fact! :) )

Don't forget my favorite song...."It's 5 o clock somewhere". But somehow, I don't think this group needs to go through that rationalization to process before having a drink at 8 in the morning.

One very bad thing happened to me today.......it is election day and damnit I need a drink Monkeyboy! The liquer store is closed. PA is such a puritan like state.... I was so hoping to come home from my very difficult day at the golf course to have a nice chilled glass of Chardonnay but NOOOO the door was locked at the wine store. Anwyay, enjoying a nice Belgian Beer instead.

Off to do the last minute grocery shopping and Heidi-I had a cleaning lady for as long as I remember. She was more trouble than she was worth. I have been through 5 in the last 5 years. FInally I just said, this should be a pleasant experience, not a witch hunt when I get home to find the same dog hair ball under the dining room table that was there when I left. Thankfully, since I don't clean, my husband does the dirty work(bathrooms, kitchen floors etc...) I just dance around the house with my feather duster....

My refridgerator???? I guess that means I have to throw away the ham from Easter finally? Ha Ha Ha....

I will check back later and I am in the same boat as Heidi....need stuff to read.

Yeah Jason,
And can you believe the guy beside me got the whole question right?? He's a wine salesman and says he drinks that wine all the time. Thanks for the article. I wish I had read it before my last class. My instructor is a little concerned about me missing 3 classes while I'm cruising. I told her I would drink a lot of wine. DUH!!

I think I have posted more today than ever in my history of online boards. I KNOW I don't type as fast as my mind works,..maybe that has something to do with it. But you guys will just be praying for me to shut-up on the cruise.

Jason,
When we did the tasting, the class was told the name of the vineyard (or producer, as in Louis Latour, Sutter Home, Beringer) but I really don't recall what the vineyard was. I really should have written it down. What is important to know is that the Sauvignon Blancs produced in the Marlborough region of New Zealand are great!!,... in my opinion. I have purchased and consumed Cloudy Bay, Villa Maria, and another one ( or 2) but I don't remember the vineyard. Whatever, try the wine and don't worry about who made it. It all comes down to the soil anyway.

Oh well if we have to die on a plane please let it be on the way HOME not on the way down! I'm wavering between exictement, panic and sheer giddiness *kind of feels like I'm drunk *oh maybe cause I AM* LOL ROFLMAO at the Jamaica Joe! That is exactly how we spent most of our Cancun vacation...on our backs at the bar mouths open!:hyper: And it's definitely Hall of FAME BABY HALL OF FAME!!!!!

Julie B For the cruise song cd...how about the Cha Cha slide by Casper (they did it on our cruise at the sailaway and it was SO fun) also how about We like to party by the Vengaboys, Boat Drinks by Jimmy Buffet, If you like pina coladas by buffet, I was going to suggest I wanna have sex on the beach but if kids are involved that might not be a good one actually..so carry on...um...Blame it on the Rum by buffet, Margaritaville by buffet.. (*pretty much anything by Jimmy Buffet is a great song for tropical stuff*) Cheeseburger in Paradise. And you know what I don't drink either!! ROFLMAO OK now THAT was funny! :teeth:

Allison--OK GIRL YOU ARE CRACKING ME UP!!!!!!!!I'm so glad you posted!! Sorry about the fridge! It's my OWN hangup..not required or anything it's just I don't like coming back to moldy milk or cheese!!! LOL I sent the Ambien about 10 min ago..so you should get it soon! I'm set to take 2 tonight just to go to sleep! I may need to dope up the kids with some Benadryl as well...they got my excited non sleep gene! I can't wait to meet you either and I can't wait to see hubby drink some pirate rum YUM YUM!!! It's going to be so much fun we're are going to be whisteling Dixie out our buttholes (compliments of Chevy Chase in Ntl Lampoon Vacation) but I can't wait and I'm going to have you pick me out some GOOD wine none of this crappy tasting B.S!!! Since you have a few days I think you should drink wine and post on here with me since I"ll be up all giddy for pretty much most of the night and most of tomorrow!!! I can't do anything responsible either which is why we are getting pizza and gin for dinner (the kids too..might as well get them going young right? :teeth:) And I'm scared to go tanning as I can't make a rational thought at the moment..what if I tell her too long and fry my white a$$???? I'm glad you posted more tonight..you finally are showing your "lushness" like the rest of us AA rejects!!! My poor kids are almost naked since everything is packed..oh well right??? Only 23 more hours til I don't give a shi*! *Do I now?*

JenL--Good for you putting the kids to bed early! That's what happens when I'm single married mom of 3!! LOL

OH Just got off the phone with transportation company for tomorrow night! Jason they are going to comp grocery stop us so you shouldn't (notice shouldn't is an operative word there) need to pick up anything for us!

Pango...nice to see you on here again!!! Sorry to hear you have to go to soccer in white sh**!! I hate snow!!! It's hot here..80 degrees and I'm going to go tanning ewwwwwwwwwww I hate to be hot and tanning in a salon at the same time. I look at the # of suitcases we have and wonder the same thing! Oh well only 5..1 for each that isn't bad of course they all weigh about 200 lbs!

Philly Jen--Our motto is it's 5 o'clock somewhere around here so we can always drink!! LOL So sorry to hear your liquor stores were closed! Ours suprisingly in this "sin" repressed state ours are open!!! We have enough to barely get us a buzz for the night and then we plan on buying a ton and probably paying duty because Duty has to be cheaper than booze in UTah!!! Thanks for making me feel better about no cleaning lady! Actually I don't think I'd like one..and now that my house is clean once again I don't need one (next time it looks like he!! I will cry for one again). Roflmao about taking out the Easter ham...it might be wise! I threw away a mac N cheese dinner from Chili's that Tanner got in March! ROFLMAO!! EWWWW it was green kind of like snot! Sonn the same boat thing will REALLY apply! WOOOHOOOOO

Jason--ROFLMAO at the pic of your cat!! We have a black cat too...I so wonder if she will make it 10 days without us!!! Oh well...if she runs away it's not such a big deal I guess..she was a pound kitty!!! Our cat is BULIMIC!! SHe pukes up all over my house and actually shorted out our digital cable receiver! I think she might weigh 8 lbs maybe!

Ok well Ryan pulled in to the driveway just now so I guess I'm off to get fried, get pizza and get loaded (WOW if that doesn't sound like a porno I don't know what does!)

FORGIVE ME ALL OF YOU FOR MY POST...I"M JUST TOO EXCITED TO EDIT THOUGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be back in an hour..post away chums post away so I can read something to get even more excited..and Allison..send some wine this way dammit!

WOO HOO!!!

I am almost done with our packing!!! I can't believe it...we don't even leave for 43 hours and the only things to pack are the bathroom junk, camera junk, and shoes, shoes, shoes!

:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Luckily for me I didn't have a big black cat climbing in the suitcases while I was loading them up, but I did have a two year old pulling stuff out and asking about a million questions! And since Sarah (5) and Abby (2) caught me giving myself a pedicure, I had 20 more little toenails to polish! Lucky for me Lindsey (8) was at softball & soccer practice with Tom or I'd have 10 more little toes to polish!!!

It is hard to believe that we will already know each other by this time on Saturday!!! I can't wait!!!

Tom and I might get a little wild and crazy some of the time (okay, a lot of the time lately), but we are also good, responsible people too!!!:happy2: :happy2: :happy2: The bra thing only happened once (that I can remember)!

Anyway, we're looking forward to meeting everyone on Saturday and putting real faces (the internet pictures don't do anyone justice) with the names!

Time to go tanning!

Hey all--

We've added another cruiser to the Disney Magic May 1st Cruise site!

I think they'll be staying at Port Orleans on Friday too!

Allison--

Ok. I paid a quick visit to "Ed's Fine Wines" here in Clearwater and purchased a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region of New Zealand. It's chilling right now and my mouth is watering! :hyper: It's like we're having a cross-country wine tasting!

Julie--

I guess Nails is no comparison to the kids. At least I don't have to paint or polish his digits! ;)

Heidi--

Whew! I was really worried that if the transportation company didn't come through for you we were going to have a major case of the DTs... :hyper: :hyper:

Evening All -

My interent time tonight and tomorrow will be limited. My DD, Kaitlyn, brought home a research paper project that needs to be worked on while we're on the cruise. The paper is about a Caribbean Island (she chose the Bahamas) and needs to be at least 10 pages long. She has 10 topics she needs to research and write out index cards for and turn in when we return. Now tell me - where is this child gonna do research on the cruise:crazy2: So we are frantically searching the internet for items about the Bahamas - anyone know where I can get a newspaper? She needs to include firsthand information. I was thinking that if we have printed out info, she can work on it while we are gone.

Heidi - Kaitlyn will not have time to email McKaylee, but wants me to tell you to tell her that she also likes to scrapbook. She is really looking forward to meeting her and hopefully hanging together next week. We still plan on coming over to POR Friday night. We are having dinner at Bahama Breeze, then onto DTD then over to POR.

Tracey - hope you and Logan feel better soon.:flower3:

4 out of the 5 of us are packed. My oldest DD is the hold out. Once she finished homework, we'll finish her as well.

Jason - Nails looks just like our two cats :cat: they love to lay in our suitcases. but now I have cat hair all over everything.

We will be arriving at the port around 10:30am. We are surprising our girls with a stretch limo to the port.:thewave:

Tylenol PM tonight for me so I can sleep.

Pleaseant cruise Dreams

I can't wait to be plastered looking for all of you and listening for that loud MONKEY BOY WHERE"S OUR DRINKS DAMMIT come through!!!! Actually the internet pictures do me justice it's just that you don't see the one's that show me plastered off my a$$ looking like a 2 bit *****!

Jason--We too paid a fine visit to the liquor store this evening and bought a small bottle of gin (go figure right?) to drink to get us in the spirit! ROFLMAO!! Tammy--Tell Kaitlin that McKaylee say's hi and she can't wait to meet her at POR and on the ship!!! I have them all cleaning up their crap and packing up for the airplane ride tomorrow so they are responsible for actually getting things they like to do (*McKaylee has a bucketload of homework) but it will be great fun! Sorry to hear about the research paper...that sucks!!!! I'm trying to think where you could get some Bahama stuff but I'm blank. I probably have some pictures from Nassau I could bring you but they only include the DCL ship at night, our scuba boat and Atlantis! LOL Nothing really educational!! I feel for you..I HATE research papers especially right before a trip!!! Make sure you make it to POR from DTD because McKaylee will be crushed as will all of us there including Conny and Alice!!!!

Hi group,

Way to many posts for this brain to keep up.

Had the Job Search Ministry tonight and 4 people came with cookies to celebrate new jobs!:cheer2: That's the most we've had in one week in the 2 1/2 years since I've working with the ministry. For those of you who are in less than perfect job situations, that's great news. Not cruise related, but great news anyway.

After I left the church tonight, I went by Barnes and Noble and got the 2004 Passporter Guide to WDW. Don't know why it just occurred to me that I might want to read it since I've had the Passporter for DCL and just ordered and received the 2004 DCL Passporter. Now I will have something to read on the ship so I can do some compulsive planning for WDW. We will actually have most of 4 days at the parks since we don't fly home till Tuesday evening. Had to extend the vacation a couple of days since I couldn't imagine being in Orlando and NOT even going to the Parks.

We're doing the suicide return. Getting home at 9:30 Tuesday night and going to work at 8:00 am Wednesday morning. Nuff said, I don't even want to think about the trip being over.

Way cool that everyone is packed. That's on my schedule for tomorrow night. Heidi and the rest of you leaving tomorrow, have a great time and we'll see you at the Goofy Pool on Saturday afternoon. Don't know when we're getting on the ship since DD said she's not in a hurry to get back on the ship after she gets off. We may just let her wander around the port while we get on the ship. I think I saw that they serve lunch till 2:00 so we'll definitely be on the ship in time for lunch.

Save me a virgin frou frou something at the pool.

Jeff, a little tip from the mommy of 2 little princesses....packing is WAY easy if you do all her laundry and put it away first. I try to pack from the laundry basket and it is such a pain because I always forget something.

The girls like to watch Noggin in the basement and for some reason they take their socks off down there. I went down last night(after swearing there was a sock eating monster in my washing machine), there were like 20 pairs of white little girls socks stuffed in various crevices in the couch....

To everyone leaving today~ have a blast and a safe trip. Heidi and anyone else attending the meet at the POR, have fun. Save some brain cells for the boat:D

I said a few days back that I was packed but things mysteriously jumped out of the suitcase during the week(new sandals, party dresses....) and now I am almost back to square 1 with the girls. I guess I should follow my own advice.

Have a greatday.

Joe, it is nice to see that you are getting warmed up for the cruise, I myself have been eating 5 meals a day plus snacks with an occasional session of binge drinking. The training has been brutal, but the reward will be great. I haven't done an upside down kamakazi in quite a while, probably the last time was when I did an upside down keg stand also in the same night.

Just remember the more you are absent from the precruise activities you will be expected to make up for it on the cruise, you will be held to a higher level than the rest of us. :groom: :drinking: :drinking1 BTW I had heard that a good bottle of wine sometimes work for KEYS TO THE VAULT, good luck with that.

JenLyn, you will need to start playing nice or face punishment from the PIRATES of the SS Mickeyboat.pirate: pirate:

Pango, this guy amazes me, I had to call and ask "Is that another reference from a Buffet song?" PANGO you rock, Swimming with the Jellies, DUDE noggin. BTW Pango's wife being high maintenance, I wouldn't really go that far, just because she has a salon named after her and they close down when she is out of town, is that really high maintenance? I do have to say "She looks Marvelous".

Heidi, I have heard that a good way to calm your nerves about flying, is to join a club that they have, it sooths, relaxing and refreshes. I think it is called the Mile something, I am not sure but you might want to check into it.

Monkeyboy, I did my best you are on your own, good luck and never forget MONKEYBOY GET ME A DRINK DAMNIT!!!! pirate: pirate: pirate:

Oh, it's still wwwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyy early to start packing. We have plenty of time!

Everyone--

I've already called Port Orleans to give them a warnini..... er, heads-up, about Heidi and Ryan. The individual that I spoke with at Guest Services was very nice and said that the manager of the resort had already flagged their reservation. They were currently in the process of securing all liquor on property, installing additional security cameras, and placing those little plastic plugs in all of the electrical outlets.... :teeth:

Hey everyone, I just talked to my queen again (Julie) and told her that I am seriously considering leaving tonight instead of tommorrow afternoon. I will have to check for availability somewhere on Disney property or at one of the Vacation Clubs, but with everyone else talking about going I think it will happen.

It is cold and rainy here today and after the snow yesterday, and the lack of speed with our countdown clock, I think it is just something that we have to do. How about a Poll if you could leave tonight instead of when you have originally scheduled, would you or would you not?

Jeff, get packed up and lets move on out, and you think your five year old has a lot of luggage you ought to see an eight, five and two year old girls luggage to go along with the Queens.

Tom--

I called Disney Reservations last night to see what kind of prices I could get on rooms with my Annual Pass. They still had rooms available at Port Orleans. At Riverside they had Standard ($83.00) and Waterview ($99.00) and at French Quarter they had Waterview ($99). The prices reflect the Annual Passholder discount but the prices may still be good even without the discount. Just an FYI.

I'm sure they have availability elsewhere on property too. It's amazing but at some times during the year they are actually booked solid. Disney owns and operates 33,000 rooms at Walt Disney World (this number doesn't reflect the Downtown Disney hotels that are independently owned and operated for which Disney just gets a slice of the pie) so that is quite a feat!

The last time we stayed on property, in early December, we tried to get a room forever and finally wound up with a Standard room at the Caribbean Beach Resort. And, of all things, they has a watercolor of the Disney Magic on the wall.

Good luck with the rooms!

IT'S TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot for the life of me believe it's today and in just a few short hours we are leaving. I just did the math and figured out that my countdown clock was a little wrong *gee wonder who needs math?* But at 3 pm MST we will be at the airport making those around us nervous about who the weirdo's are that are flying all the way for 4 hours with them to Orlando!:teeth:

JenL--I hope you meant our site was to ZERO was because it meant you were almost on your way as well not that you are glad we are leaving! Just Kidding!!!! I have 6 hours to dash around madly here and finish the last minute crap! Oh in 6 hours I can accomplish just about anything if it's accompanied by a small shot of gin.

Kathy--Get to getting your stuff done girl! You leave tomorrow? Thursday??? We'll be in WDW tomorrow about right now trying to figure out our plan of attack to get Gin throughout the day in the park! LOL IF you get done at OHANA early come on over...I highly doubt the party is going to end before 10 or so :teeth: Otherwise we will most definitely see you at the goofy pool on Saturday!!! It's hump day you guys...only 3 more days!!!!

Philly Jen--LOL about the clothes disappearing...my kids got the "look of death" when the suitcase got zipped and they KNEW if they got dirty they'd go to school either dirty or naked so they have been good!!!!! LOL about the socks! Have you seen that verizion commercial (I think that's who it is) where the guy was at the dryer stealing all the socks??? I was lmao at that one!! It is so true! I'm glad my kids aren't the only ones leaving socks all over downstairs!!! I can't promise any brain cells will be left for the boat (but I'm not exactly sure there are any now so it's not a big loss) LOL See you on Saturday!

Tom--I haven't had an upside down Kamakazi for at least 5-6 years....they tried to do it to me in Cancun but it was tequila and i HATE tequila so I wussed out!!! This time however I plan on getting liquored up enough it won't matter if it's tequila or pretty much any liquor for that matter! ROFLMAO at the flight club. I've tried that but it just can't work very well...that space is too claustrophobic alone! And my fear is like what happened on Just Married where he sticks his foot in the toilet and it gets stuck and can't get it out! LOLOLOL I think you SHOULD come down a day early and stay at POR with us!!!! Imagine the fun we could have!!!!!!!!!

JenL--I think it's sad we have to leave you all behind but DAMN were on VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! We may have to find internet access just to chat with you fine specimens!!!

Jason--It's ok that you called POR about our arrival....now at least we can get to bed 10 min faster so that WE didn't have to explain it all to them...thanks for helping us out!!:teeth: Can you call them and tell them we probably won't be there til almost midnight tonight????? LOL Tell them to put is in the quietest non used area so that we don't disturb anyone with our screaming and yelling that WE MADE IT..OH MY GOD WE MADE IT!!!!!

Julie--Leave after Soccer tonight and then stay at Port Orleans Riverside for the one night....I'll PM you our name and we can hook up at the bar that night when you get in!! Sounds like a plan to us! The kids can swim, we can drink...it would be perfect! LOL

Try to write in if you are really leaving or not before 3 pm MST today so Ryan and I know if we need to make a run on liquor before you get there....I saw how much you partiers partied!!! LOL

Ok..I'm off to get a few things done so I can sit on here all damn day and chat away!!!

It's a really pain trying to concentrate here.

Tom - Forgot to mention... I am also trying to pick the lock to the JenL's wonder woman outfit photos. :earseek:

No need to panic there Julie.... I have the Zen philosophy of packing.... The suitcase will be packed when it chooses to be packed. And if it chooses to late, you can always borrow one of my ties. :cool1:

BEACH CLUB VILLAS...HERE WE COME!!!

Well, looks like it is official...we are going to leave tonight at around 9:00pm and drive straight thru the night. Tom thinks we'll be there at 2-ish but I think it will probably be more like 4-ish...doesn't matter because we will be in FLORIDA where it is warm and tropical instead of rainy, windy and even a little snowy like it is here in Michigan!!!

I just put Sarah on the bus for PM Kindergarten...time to put Abby down for a nap and then finish the rest of my packing and chores...must get everything crossed off of the list!

Heidi...I have no clue how the whole PM thing works, but we would be interested in getting together Thursday night, wouldn't we Tom? If you can figure out how to contact us, or vise versa, it sounds like a date! Good luck with your flight...and I'm with you on the mile-high thing...it just doesn't work!

Just picked the girls up from school and broke the news that they would be leaving a day early and wouldn't be at school tomorrow. Sarah's kindergarten teacher was all smiles and good wishes. Lindsey's second grade teacher was less than thrilled. "But I thought you were not leaving until tomorrow night...I haven't had time to prepare her homework yet...blah blah blah..." I told her to just send Lindsey's homework with Madelyn (Pango's daughter) because they are not flying out until Friday morning. Doesn't seem like a big deal, does it? But oh boy was she shooting me daggers with her eyes. Oh well...we'll be in sunny Florida tomorrow not worrying about her while she is pulling her hair out dealing with 20 obnoxious second graders!!!

I am finally packed...just haven't zipped anything up yet!

We should be on the road in another five hours!!!!!!! What is the opposite of your Ambien Heidi? Thats what Tom and I are going to need tonight! Do they still make Jolt Cola??? Remember that from college??? How about No-Doz???

Have fun packing! I'M DONE!! I'M DONE!! I'M DONE!!

Julie--McKaylee's teacher could have cared less as well *partly because she is on Maternity leave for another 2 weeks* but she was like oh go have a good time and was so supportive of it and nice. Her substitute lives in my neighborhood and we go to church with them *when we show up that is* so she was nice. Now Miles 3rd grade teacher she was a real bit** about him going but she did send his homework home with him yesterday but she has always given me crap about it. SHe taught McKaylee when we went in 2002 and she was so ignorant about it that I finally very nicely told her to go F her self! LOL

How'd the kids take the news??? ROFLMAO!!!!

OH the old Jolt Cola!! AAHHH THOSE were the days!!! I SO remember that!! Now you just need to get one of those cans of Whoop A$$ that they sell like Red Bull and that will keep you going! Take lots of no-doz or you could do what we do and take ephedra (oh yeah it's illegal now..gotta keep the stash quiet) but man I feel for you both driving all night long AFTER working and everything all day!! But I am SO happy you are so that we can meet up!!!

Ok 20 min and I'm gone! Only 10 til I leave to get my kids from school!! See you tomorrow!!!!

The the rest of you....

I bid you a very fond FAREWELL And look forward to seeing all of you either at POR or on the Ship at 3:30!! BE THERE OR BE SQUARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright everyone,

Lindsey just scored 2 goals in her teams 8-0 win, Julie is giving the girls a bath and I have to go tan. We should be on the road by 8:30 est, I have 3 people calling me during the night to make sure we are still awake and on the road. I will try and make sure that we do not burn Ryan and Heidi out before you all get a chance to meet the famous couple.

If Julie sees me typing at the computer when I am suppose to be taking out the trash I will be in big trouble, so I had better go. Everyone have a great time and I am sure that I will be checking in when we arrive in florida.

Good luck to all.

Allison--

The sauvignon blanc that I bought (and drank) was Giesen. Ever hear of it? At any rate, it's from the Marlborough region of New Zealand and it was pretty impressive. Ed, as in Ed's Fine Wines, liked the selection. (I told him I knew an impressive up-and-coming sommelier who recommended it. ;) )

They also had several other labels, including Cloudy Bay.

I'm being REALLY good and not overpacking. I decided that if I underpacked that would give me a great excuse to buy some stuff on the cruise or in port. "But honey, I don't have a THING to wear so I have to buy SOMETHING":rotfl: Right?

Good Morning all!

Today's our big day.....you wouldn't know it though. I thought I was all ready and I am not!

We are leaving after work tonight and driving straight thru. We should be a DMIL's house by noon tomorrow. Then to sleep.

Unfortunately, since we live right smack dab in the middle of the most congested portion of I 95(NY to Washington, DC)we have to leave later than we wanted. Nothing is worse than getting stuck in Washington, DC traffic for like 3 hours when you are all phyched for vacation. So, we have to wait until Philly, Wilmington, Baltimore and DC's rush hours are over to leave.

I am sure I will check back 1 more time before we leave but everyone have a safe trip and see you all saturday.

Philly Jen

JenL and Joe- I will wave and honk in your general direction tonight.

JenLynn
04-29-2004, 07:11 AM
Oh Philly Jen .... I know how bad that D.C. 95 traffic can be. It seems like every vacation we take we get stuck around D.C. and Joe does not handle traffic and congestion very well. After getting stuck in that traffic numerous times, we thought we had out-witted it. Joe and I had gone SCUBA diving in Morehead City, NC and waited until late at night to drive home (in an attempt to avoid D.C. traffic). Well, it was after midnight and we got stuck in the mother of all back-ups! Turns out that someone had gotten shot and there was a police investigation and 95 was closed. It was complete he11. Then we decided to get off 95 and ended up lost driving through D.C. :scared: So now we try to avoid D.C. like the plague.

Hey Reine, we are doing blended bags. There are 3 bags and 4 of us and we each have a little bit of something in each bag. Now i am just hoping everything will fit! I am so paranoid about our luggage getting lost! We went to Jamaica a few years ago and friends of ours lost 3 of their 4 pieces of luggage. Coincidentally 3 of the bags were "hers" and 1 of the bags was "his" and of course all of the lost ones were "hers." Ever since then i have been a bit paranoid about my luggage getting lost. :sad2:

And Allison, that is so wonderful that dh cleaned the fridge. That is my goal for today after taking Madalyn to pre-school. To clean the kitchen (including clean-out the fridge). We are getting a pizza tonight for dinner so we won't have to worry about dishes and leftovers. (and i won't have to cook ... yay!)

Well all, i feel like my to-do list is still a mile long ... but i am too excited to worry about it! Madalyn came skipping down the steps this morning "I am so excited for tomorrow." I think we all are!

Wow Alice, that's one big spa bill! My daughter (5) and I are going today as well. I will probably take her before school so she can show off her nails to her friends. She was a cronic biter(oooo that bugs me) and so is my husband. Well, around Christmas time, my husband got Invisilign(clear removable braces) and stopped biting. Well wouldn't you know it, Hannah stopped biting almost immediately as well. And he claims it wasn't him. Anyway, her "prize" for stopping the biting was a manicure and pedicure( they will probably just clip and paint) before the cruise.

I picked Kate up from preschool yesterday(it was her actual birthday) and the first thing she said to me was " Are we going on my cruise now?" So cute.

We will drive safely, we do this 2x a year( my MIL is in Satellite Bch 12 miles from Port Can.) We always leave with the intention of driving straight thru but we will be honest with ourselves and stop along the way if we have to. Thanks for the wishes.

See you all soon.

Just a quick check-in.. Feeling much better.. definetly on the road to recovery and hoping by tomorrow at 3:20 p.m., I'll be 100%!!
Unfortunately I didn't get to tan like I hoped; I've been on antibiotics and they say the color might come out funky! so I tried the self tanning lotion by Banana boat.. works ok.
Did manage to paint my toenails and fingernails MYSELF (lucky those who had someone else do it!!).. lol!!

Good morning all!

I too am in the process of finishing up the last minute, pre-cruise details. Travis dropped off the ties and dress shirts at the dry cleaners yesterday afternoon and then we sat down and packed two of the three suit cases we'll be taking. All we have left to pack is one smaller one and the garment bag both of which shouldn't be too difficult.

Now, I still need to clean out our fridge (I can't be the only one who doesn't do this, you know! :) ), pick up the dry cleaning, finish packing, and get a trim at Great Clips. I still think we're ahead of schedule compared to our previous trips!

Renie--

We mixed and matched too. When I started packing I had all of our shorts and pants in one suitcase and all of our shirts in another. The thought of lost luggage ran through my head and I re-arranged the pants and shirts more evenly!

Philly Jen--

I can only imagine the rush hour traffic in and around the D.C. area! Yugh! Tampa Bay is probably much smaller (at about 2.5 million people) and I can't stand the traffic around here! Of course we always have a lot of tourists too, so that makes it more difficult at times. But, just think, in less than two days we won't have to think about driving at all!

You guys have a safe trip driving down and we'll see ya onboard!

Hello Cathy K!

Glad to see you stop in! The site that Renie so kindly plugged (Thanks Renie!!!) can be found at <a href="http://**********************">*****************</a>. Here's sending positive thoughts that all in your party will have smooth, easy flights. Especially those flying out Saturday morning.

Tammy--

Soccermom2? New handle, Tammy? I like it! :) Have a safe trip down and here's hoping you all miss the worst of the traffic! We'll see ya onboard!

Who could forget that!

I received an e-mail from Linda (ScrapHappyMama) and family and she said to say hello to all. She has been swamped at work and just hasn't had the time to visit the boards on a regular basis. Other than all the work, she says everyone is well and they are all exceptionally excited about being on the ship in less than two days!

They will be leaving early tomorrow morning and Linda asked me to wish everyone safe travels!

The Pango Man is my new mouthpiece, it is awesome to have a friend you will post for you when you are on the road. We actually made it in exactly 17 hours and only 3 stops the longest one being 15 minutes, our girls sure are great travelers (sleepers).

I talked to Monkeyboy and he and the Heidster and the Queen and I are going to hook up tonight with the kids. I will try to post later, about how wild and crazy they really are, the cool thing is that when I talked to Ryan on the phone it was as if I had known him forever, just a couple of long lost friends touching base. Well I have to go and fill the cooler full of ice and prepare for the big double date, Pango you are the best and holy cow with the Buffet references, you rock.

My packing hasn't moved any further than it was last night. Had a slight interruption. I was taking the key to my neighbor who was going to bring in the mail and papers when DH came looking for me to let me know that DS (almost 28) had just called and he had locked his carkeys in his van, WITH IT RUNNING. Fortunately his cell phone was in his pocket so guess who he called. Of course he was near where he works which is 30+ minutes away. So I just spent the last two hours taking a spare key to DS and getting dinner.

So now it's 9:20, the clothes are still in the same place they were last night and DH is telling me his throat is hurting and he's not 100%. I refuse to allow him to be sick on the cruise. I gave him aspirin and recommended a glass of wine and to go to bed. I figure the alcohol will kill whatever's in his throat and relax him so he can truly crash.

Glad the travelers have arrived safely in FL and safe journeys to the rest of you.

Jason, I'm getting off a little early tomorrow afternoon so I'll probably check in around 4:00 before I turn off the computers. We're heading for Moms about 5:15ish and then to the airport.

See everyone on "Mickey's Boat" on Saturday.:jumping2: :cheer2: :thewave:

Now I understand what my mom means when she says "A moms work is never complete!" :teeth: I guess it's one of those universal rules. But, us DSs and DDs are lucky to have DMs like you! ::yes::

I doubt it will make you (or Jeff) feel any better but my packing hasn't progressed any more either. I'm such a procrastinator! Tomorrow is the deadline though and I know I'll get it done somehow. I did pick up the dry cleaning!!! That should count for something. :D

Here's positive thoughts for Paul. Perhaps part of it is just excitement over the cruise and seeing Robyn again. How long has she been on the Magic? It must be even more exciting because you guys get to see her and everything.

Well, I think that’s it for tonight. I need to rest up for the final sprint tomorrow. Hope you all have a nice night and Disney Dreams!

Jason, thanks for the positive thoughts.

We haven't seen Robyn since I put her on the plane January 27. This is actually the longest we've gone without seeing her but it actually hasn't been as bad as when she was working in camps in the summer cause I've been able to talk to her each week and send e-mails, etc. When she was working in the camps, she was younger and she'd call on Sunday nights for maybe 5 mintues. The Hi Mom, I'm fine, bye mom type of call. And the last several weeks she's either called from St. Thomas or e-mailed from Cozumel so I get some sort of communication in the middle of the week. Once you get the routine down, it gets easier. It also helps that she hasn't lived at home since she graduated from college 3 1/2 years ago so I'm not used to seeing her all the time although I would usually see her at least at church on Sundays. But it has been hard since I've always been able to just pick up the phone if I wanted to.

I'm at the panic stage now. I have the clothes in the suitcases, blended by the way, and now I'm trying to decide if I forgot anything! :scared1:

The clock is counting HOURS now. Woooo Hooooo

Hi Everyone!!!
Joe and I got home a few hours ago. Thankfully, the journey home was quiet and uneventful (except for the ride home where Teddy and Madalyn playfully pouted saying "Now there is someone else swimming in our Mickey pool and eating our ice cream and sleeping in our bunkbed and sitting in our seats at dinner."   )

We had a wonderful time cruising with everyone! It was such a fun experience to be able to walk around the ship and recognize friends from this thread (and to hear Tom yell down from the top deck "Hey JenLynn!" as I strolled around the pool).

Hope everyone gets home safely. I know there are quite a few in our group who got day rooms due to late flights.

Helllloooo Jen!

So good to hear from another Disney Magic May 1st Cruiser! Doesn't it seem like we were just boarding the Disney Magic yesterday and now it's all over. :(

Travis and I are suffering from serious PDCD (Post Disney Cruise Depression). It's quite funny too because we have been going through the same kind of conversations as Teddy and Madalyn! "Right now, some people are getting ready for dinner and some people are getting dressed for the Welcome Aboard Variety Show." It's just not right!

Conny and Silke should be on their way back to Germany by now. They left for London on a 5:00 P.M. flight after spending the day at the Florida Mall.

We just ran to Walmart to pick up some pictures I uploaded prior to the cruise and it just doesn't seem real that we're back already. Although, I did notice that the trip to Walmart is very similar to being in a foreign port in many ways. :jester:

Can't wait for more Disney Magic May 1st Cruisers to check in!

Jason, thanks for the pic of Joe and Travis .... the Catamaran was a nice excursion and we couldn't have asked for a better day! The white clouds in that pic look almost like a painting.

Jeff, I understand about Alyssa wanting to wear her shirt. Teddy and Madalyn each got a pillow case signed by the characters and they have been carrying them all around the house. They have decided they should use them as a tote bag to carry all of their stuffed animals, rather than as pillow cases. Hmmm.... that is an idea - maybe next time i will get them small tote bags to be signed.

I already have a list of things that we didn't get a chance to do on this cruise that i'd like to do on the next .... now the tricky part, getting Joe to rebook. :teeth:

I know many of our group had late flights home and were spending most of the day at the airport. I hope we hear from them to know everyone got home safely.

Hey everyone! I'm finally among the "semi-living dead" this morning! Had a nightmare flight home last night and sat for an extra 30 min on the tarmac at MCO due to a mechanical landing switch problem but I'm here. I'm actually very glad to be home....our house felt like a 10,000 sq ft mansion after the last 10 days! It was so great to meet all of you....I just wish we had felt better through the whole trip. Of course CC day we all felt great (I guess that's the most important part) and still feel well now. Had a few sunburn issues last night after the kids swam in the Hyatt MCO Pool yesterday and their brainless parents packed the sunscreen in a different bag. OH well...it is just pinkish and I'm sure by later today they'll be fine..if not I brought home enough gin to get us all "pain free"

Well off to do MORE laundry (I got 2 loads done last night before crashing into bed) and then I need to get something to eat. This no big breakfast buffet sucks!

Happy mother's day to all mothers... Especially Heidi ;)

It was so cool to meet everyone onboard, like Tom said it felt like seeing friends we have known forever. It felt like we knew half the ship, everytime was on deck I ran into Pango going to the bar for more beer, Joe giving me a shout out and hand shake chest bump (usually in a bar), Alice smiling, Tracey and Logan at the pool, and Jason and Travis wandering the halls.

I got the good part of the flight home, my 3 kids were very well behaved. Of course I was across the aisle with the noise cancelling headphones on... Heidi got stuck next to earthy mommy with a screamming 2 year old and screaming baby and a 5 year old kid kicking her seat for 5 hours. We fixed it by testing out the duty free 12 gallons of liquor we brought home.

Now it's time to plan an adults only vacation!!!! Vegas is calling. Anytime anyone wants company in Vegas it's a short drive for Heidi and me !!!!

We left Port Canaveral yesterday morning at 9:00am and rolled in here at 3:00am this morning (Sunday)...it was a long drive!!! We had the most wonderful, awesome, great, fantastic, beautiful, special, super, totally cool cruise ever! The Disney Magic exceeded our expectations by far!!!

Tom, Pango (Steve), Laura (Pango's wife) and myself spent the whole week making a TDS list...in other words "This Doesn't Suck" (as BowTieJoe mentioned earlier)...among the things on our TDS list were:

1.) Sitting on Deck 10 overlooking the Goofy Pool and having Jamaica James bring us drinks of the day...TDS
2.) Eating absolutely wonderful meals in the dining room every night and being pampered by our awesome servers Dennis & Maria...TDS
3.) Having the paparazzi photograph our every move so that we would have plenty of Disney Magic memories to bring home...TDS
4.) Getting a really good deal on fake Kate Spade, Prada & Louis Vuitton purses in St. Martin...TDS
5.) Yelling BowTieJoe from halfway across the ship and having him actually acknowledge us...TDS
6.) Celebrating Pango's birthday in the Caribbean...TDS
7.) Sitting at the bar at Palo and having wonderful drinks and conversation with Kristian from Denmark (and learning some great Disney Magic secrets)...TDS
8.) Being able to drop the kids off at the Lab, Club & Nursery (they wanted to go of course)...TDS
9.) Pulling up to the dock in Port Canaveral, looking at the beautiful Disney Magic and knowing that we were going to be spending seven glorious nights aboard it...TDS
10.) Drinking yummy Key Lime Martinis with PhillyJen and Headgear Pat...TDS
11.) Not having to answer cell phones and emails for a whole week...TDS
12.) Seeing the looks on our kids faces the entire week...priceless...TDS
13.) Re-booking on board and saving 10 percent and knowing that we have another great cruise to count down to...TDS
14.) Being able to grab something to eat anytime of the day or night just because we wanted to (and not having a scale in our bathroom)...TDS
15.) Drinking beer in the ocean in St. Martin and Castaway Cay...TDS
16.) Taking the tram up to Paradise Point and looking out over St. Thomas...what a view...TDS
17.) Buying alcohol really cheap in the Caribbean and being able to bring it home...TDS
18.) Having someone make our bed every morning and turn our bed down every night...TDS
19.) Being able to meet some of the wonderful people from these boards and hopefully establish lasting friendships...TDS

I could go on and on all day...the list is endless!!!

On Saturday morning while we were sitting at breakfast we made a new list...TS...in other words "This Sucks". There was onlly one thing on our list...Going Home!!! I know that all good things must come to an end, but I just wasn't ready for it to end so soon! Now it is time to start counting down the days until our next cruise...over seven hundred days since we won't be cruising until two years from now! At least we'll have a couple of regular Disney trips squeezed in there between now and then to make the days go faster.

It was great getting to meet all of you......

We are finally home. We got in last night (or early this morning) about 4. Next time we are FLYING! That 16 hour drive sucks! We are already saving for September 2005.

My first-time cruising family (especially the uncle that didn't want to do Disney) is booking with us. Before Sunday was over he was already convinced to do it again.

It was great meeting all of you. I told Jason that I hoped we would all stay in touch. I also have PDCD. Everytime I would see one of ya'll and say hi my poor hubby would want to know how I knew you. By the end of the cruise he would laugh and say it must be the computer.

How jealous am I that Jason and Travis are doing the 14 day?!?! I just wanted to smack you guys when you told me that!

Heidi, I am glad you finally started feeling better. Jonathon was bummed that he couldn't find Miles a lot of the time.

Whew, what a fabulous 7 days! I had many favorite things on the trip but the best of the best was being able to run across familiar faces. We got home this morning at 10:30, we went to MK and Epcot and didn't get to the hotel until 1:30 AM Sunday morning, then had to get up at 4:30 to get ready for our 7:00 AM flight:crazy: The flight was perfect but I realized I left our ("paparazzi photographs") and our Guaveberry Rum somewhere (I'm hoping at Budget in Cape Canaveral but I haven't been able to get hold of them to find out) wah, wah, wah.

In another burst of reality, Linds found out her Grandpa has esophagus cancer. Her grandparents just retired to Clearwater, FL. last year:( so please send a pray up for Grandpa Joe and for Grandma Bernie. This would be a second grandparent (as my Mom passed from lymphoma 8 yrs. ago) Linds has lost to cancer. Maybe God wants her to be an Oncologist instead of an Orthopedic surgeon, I can only put it in God's hands because it's too big for me. Cancer SUCKS

BUT THE MAGIC ROCKS and so does the DIS for bringing all of us together. I definitely see a trip to Vegas (with a Wonderbra), Maryland (miss you Tracey and Logan) and Tampa to have White Star or Fairy Tail (or both) with Jason and Travis. Who knows maybe we'll even make it to Germany.

Thanks everyone for helping us to have a bunch of Magical moments.

Love ya,
God bless ya,

We had the best time and arrived home just hous ago. We we're crazy and went straight to The parks after getting off the ship, it was great. We did Magic Kingdom, MGM and Epcot and stayed for Spectro Magic. We got back to Pop Century at midnite( it's a real cool resort) and flew out early this morming.
Real sorry that we didn't get to meet all of you, it was a timing thing. It was nice continually seeing Jason and Travis walking down the hall usually on "6", that's so cool that you're going on the 14 day cruise. I think I could be on the cruise for 14 days easily, just would have to slow down on the eating thing. It was also nice meeting with Bella and Rella's .Mom and Dad up on deck 9. Is it always that WINDY???

We did rebook, hoping for May of 2006

Welcome Home to All!

Alice--

I'm so sorry to hear about Lindsey's grandfather. We'll definitely be thinking about them and both you and Lindsey. A major illness is always hard for everyone in a family.

And, about that Fairytale or White Star, you just name the time and place and Travis and I will be there! ::yes:: (As if anyone would have ever doubted that! ;) ) Somehow I think our champagne drinking habits drew attention this time around. Annie-Marie, our server for both Palo Champagne Brunch and dinner, commented on it. She also popped the cork so loudly on the Moet at dinner that it drew the whole restaurants attention to our table! She simply looked around and said "It's time to party!" We agreed! :teeth:

I hope you end up being able to locate the pictures. Hopefully they will turn up somewhere and you can claim them. As far as the Guavaberry, we bought three bottles so if you need one just let us know.

Cathy--

It was great to see you in the halls too! I think we were only one or two staterooms down from you so, even though we weren’t able to meet you at the Dis Meets, we ended up seeing ya a lot. I still have the nametags for your group and if you would like me to mail them to you just send me a PM with your address. They actually turned out pretty nice and will make nice little keepsakes for the scrapbooks.

This also goes for anyone else that wasn’t able to pick up their name tags either. Just send a PM with your Dis name and address and I'll send them off.

Julie--

See, your husband never knew how popular you really are! :teeth: Glad to hear that you'll be sailing with the Disney Magic again. Knowing that you'll be on the ship again in the near future always helps the PDCD a little.

Talk to you all soon, and as Alice stated so well, "Thanks everyone for helping us to have a bunch of Magical moments."

What news of the DIS banner? Were you able to retrieve it from Guest Services, sign it and pass it on to the next group? Did you take any photos? :)

Travis and I asked twice at Guest Services for the banner and no one had a clue as to what we were talking about. It would have been a nice little ritual to keep going.

Helloooo all! Greetings from Philly Jen and Headgear Pat:hyper: . It is Monday morning and we just finally got home, not for lack of trying though.

We spent Pat's birthday(5/8) with his brother and mom and family in Satellite Beach, but not before puking the remaining Key Lime Martini's all over A1A!!! He is going on the theory that it was motion sickness, until we downloaded the pictures from our room on thursday night and he saw how loaded he was.....

Anyway, we are off to get glasses fixed for Hannah( they broke in the kids club the first night) and Katie off to school- she can't wait to show the teachers her braids. Then it is time to tackle the piles and piles of mail.....

I am sorry I didn't make it to the meet on Saturday-I promise I had full intentions, until Katie had a breakdown and needed a nap(she did a lot of sleeping on this trip-wait until I post the pictures of her sleeping in the promenade Lounge the last night with my glass of Fairy Tale being delivered right over her head). But I do think I was able to meet most of you. Can't wait to read the trip reports and see pictures.

We had a "magical" time and can't wait to cruise again.

Philly Jenn-with input from Headgear Pat(see Tom and Julie- he is no longer a lurker).

OHHHHH I forgot to mention how our trip ended. Some of you may have been witness to my hysteria, who knows. We were getting on the elevator on Saturday am to leave and Hannah stepped on first and the door closed her in there. She was the only one in the elevator and I could hear her crying hysterically all the way up. I of course found someone wearing a uniform(in true Philly Jenn style it happened to be Captain Tom but I didn't care...) I ran up and down 9 flights of stairs 3 times before I found her. Someone had brought her to guest services thankfully. My only fear was that we all feel so safe on the ship during the week but people were getting off the ship and I was terrified I'd never find her. There were only about a million people swarming around the atrium and I was a wreck. The women standing at the debarkation point were so wonderful(they were from the kids club) Scarey moment. Of course Headgear was no help-still drunk just trying to stand up...... BTW- I have been with him for 16 years and never saw him puke! Good Job guys!

Also- funny thing. We stopped at Ruby Tuesdays last night in Virginia on the way home and Hannah ordered 2 dinners(or tried to before we explained that we now have to "pay" and only 1 dinner please....... She got so used to ordering whatever she wanted.....

Have a great day.
PJ

Just in case you need to know- my husband wears invisilign and some were inquiring if he has to wear headgear like we used to have to wear in the old days as well...... The answer is no:wave2:

Heh... went to TGI Friday's with Alyssa Sunday and she said, "Daddy, I like the restaurants on the ship better. You don't have to pay when you leave."

Hello everybody.

Silke and I finally made it home early monday morning(0.30 am) due to flight delays in London.Unfortunatly we had to skip going to the city because my knee hurt so much after the 9 hour flight to London, that we decided to get a dayroom at the Meridien hotel at the airport to give it some rest.
Now I´m in the process of eliminating 53 emails on my computer(most spam anyway) answer the important ones and organising all my stuff. The made me use an extra package from BA at checkin, because my luggage was so overweight.Where did all this stuff came from?I had no idea, that towels, shirts and guavaberry liqour weight so much.At least they didn´t made me pay extra.
It was so nice meeting you all and I really hope we keep this thread running a little londger so that we can stay in touch.
So,I have to start my laundry and call the doctor for an appointment to have my knee checked out.
Take care and talk to you soon.

This truely sucks! :sad1:

I am at work this morning and the reality has settled in. more PDCD!!!! I want to go back!! You know one big shocker when we got back... The gas prices in our area were up by like $.20 a gallon. :confused3

Philly Jen -- Glad you made it home ok! Did you ever find your pictures?? Hope you had a happy mommy day.

Conny -- glad you are home safe as well.

Jason -- I was wondering about that banner. Oh well, it would have been a nice thing if it worked out.

Jeff -- I am sometimes down in your area for work, so we should plan on lunch sometime when I am.

We got our pictures back yesterday, and they turn out great. We were worried cause they went through x-ray at the airport. We thought the film was screwed. Laura was right though and it was fine. Good thing we were using 400 speed film.

Jen is busy typing up our trip report.

MonkeyBoy, where's my drink damit! :drinking1

Oh one question... Did any one happen to video tape the Tropicalifragilistic show with the characters on the pool stage? Would love a copy if someone has it. Silly me forgot the video cam in the cabin.

Glad to hear everyone got home safely. We arrived in last night around 10pm. We spent Saturday at MK and the night at the All Star Music. The girls slept til 10am yesterday, swam a bit and we headed to the airport around 12:30pm. Almost missed our connecting flight from Atlanto to Philadelphia. They had the doors shut and all - had to open them to let us on. Dirty looks from the passengers as we walked down the aisle - sorry wasn't my fault our pilot couldn't land in Atlanta becasue of traffic.

Overall we had a great cruise. The girls loved the kids club. The food was good and I never thought I would find myself saying that I didn't want to eat again :)

Hope everyone enjoyed their trip - it was nice to meet all of you, sorry we didn't get to see more of you.

I'm with you Julie!!! :sunny:

I am slowly pulling out of my depression. Almost booked a 4 day just to help, but JenLynn convinced me that it wouldn't be the same. She is right!!! This cruise, for me at least, was made so much more special by meeting all of you!!! So going back definitely would not have been the same.

I know the kids had an awesome time!! I loved the look on our kids faces everytime they would meet another character, or the waiter would do a magic trick they couldn't figure out. Funny, on the last day, as we were going the final check over in our state room to make sure nothing was forgotten. Maddie was like.. "Did you remember to pack our Flubber" (made in the lab one day). Well we weren't planning to bring it home, but it's here now.

Really enjoyed hanging out in the club with you all on a couple of nights!!

Miss everyone already!!!!

I keep checking, but I'm in that post-cruise low:crazy2:

Of course, Alyssa wants to go on another cruise immediately. Actually, so do I, but there is that little matter of paying the bill ;) She had so much fun yesterday evening telling all her friends about the cruise and showing them her shirt signed by all the characters.

Funny, it turns out one of her best friends at daycare did a 4 night cruise last year. Definitely gonna have to do another one, but I just don't think a 3/4 nighter would be enough!

I'm with ya'll. I am having serious withdrawals. Not only are we stuck back in the real world, we are pulling away from posting.

My kids loved the lab and the club so much that they usually didn't even eat with us. They wanted to go straight to the club. Jonathon thought he was so big being able to check himself in and out and I felt good giving him a little bit of freedom in a controlled setting. Did I say controlled?!? I just remembered that I met a lot of you!

The highlight of my trip was when my daughter got to go on stage with Snow White in the Golden Mickeys. She made the cutest little dwarf. When I asked her which one she was, she was quick to tell me that she was the BOSS!

Our dining room experience was fabulous. You guys can say what you want, but our waiters, Carlos and Glen, were the greatest. We even ended up tipping the waiter for the next table a little bit because he was great entertainment! HIs name was Adrian.

Well, I will post more later, but I guess I need to do a LITTLE work.

Count me in the PDCD group too! Perhaps we should form a support group. Hmmm... where would be a central location for all of us... Kansas City? Nebraska? No, no, no... How about the Disney Magic?! ::yes::

I have to say that I also miss all of you guys. It was always so much fun running into all of you in the halls and clubs; sailing on the Golden Eagle with Joe, Jen, Ted, Bill and Billy; hiking up a mountain (well, ok, a hill) with Brenda, Bob, Ted, Bill, and Billy while Thunderhawk talked about St. John; and looking forward to dinner each night with Conny and Silke. (BTW, Guavaberry Liquor does weigh a ton, doesn't it? ;) )

I've been trying to re-capture some of the Disney Magic in subtle little ways. For instance, I tried to force Travis to pull back the bed, dim the lights, and fold towel animals for me but he refuses.

I have most of you guys on my Dis "Buddy List" and I keep finding myself checking to see if you all are on the boards or not. And, of course, I keep checking the thread. :)

I wish I could take you all back on the Magic with us on our Back-to-Backs! If I had the moola that Bill Gates has I would! (Hey, it's the thought that count's right?! ;) )

Julie--

Our thread not on the first page of the Cruise Meets forum?!?!?! It cannot be! Here comes another bout of the PDCD! you guys rebooked onboard, right? you'll have to start a thread for that cruise. Go forth Disney Magic May 1st Cruiser and show them how it's done! :teeth:

Jen--

Make sure you and your husband get back on the Magic sometime soon. I mean, I'm good but I need someone to help me out with all that Fairy Tale Cuvee.

Jeff--

I really admire the way Alyssa thinks. No worries (about bills), be happy! ;)

What a magical sentiment Jason!!!!!

If we ever hit our state lottery up here, we'll book a cruise for us all, you can count on it!!! Course don't hold your breath on that., but we can all dream or wish. :genie:

Also, Jason I saw your coming soon on the ************ site. We are soooo jealous!!! Hope you have a great time on that cruise as well!!!!

Jeff -- I agree!!! I was on a 3 day wonder cruise and man is it short! It's over before it starts. Which is why we decided to book the 7 night this time.

So glad to see that i am not alone in my depression!! I have been working on my trip report (been posting it one day at a time) and looking through all of our pictures. Joe doesn't usually get too hyped up about vacations, but you would not believe the funk he is in right now! He is moping around the house and surfing the 'net trying to plan a way to get us on another DCL cruise. And i have to say that each day i think back "Last week at this time i was .... laying out on deck 10 or walking through the buffet line or flying along on the Golden Eagle Catamaran."

WAAAAAAAA .... I WANT TO GO BACK!
:sad1:  :sad1:  :sad1:  :sad1:  :sad1:

And i agree ... knowing each other via this thread really made the whole cruise more fun!

Can we go again? Pretty please?

Hey everyone, count us in the post cruise depressed group too!!! We had an absolutely wonderful time, and cannot wait to go back again (even though Robbie did bring home a nasty stomach virus with him.... but symptoms didn't start til we were safely back at our own house, so at least he didn't suffer on the cruise!!! and he is almost better now, so it's all good)

My only regret is that I didn't get to meet more of you!!!

Hi guys.

It sucks being back in reality.Workload is already really heavy,no weekend for me.And opn top of that the MRT showed that I have a subtotal rupture in my knee and might need surgery.Great, can I go back and do the rehab on the MAgic? If yes,the thought of surgery doesn´t sound so bad.Over here it´s so cold and rainy,I wanna go back.
I managed to bring my films to have them developted nd was shocked to see I had taken 12 rolls and over 150 on digital. It will take ages to ge3t them organised.
an´t wait to read some trip reports,I´ll hope I find some time to write one on my own,but seriously doubt it.

Take care everybody

I think I have you all beat! My family thought I was hired as the ships photographer, our friends thought I was nuts. I took over 600 digital pictures, and not great ones that I want to share. Yes, there is the typical one of my husband fondeling the towel monkey after a long day of cocktails....(that sounds bad, but I guess it would sound worse if you didn't know there were true towel monkeys in our room....) and me flashing my B%$bs at the RCCL Mariner as we passed but most are of the girls with their smiles from ear to ear and I can't have enough of those..... sadly, there are a few of me in my bathing suit....those must be destroyed...

PhillyJen,

I need to see a post from Headgear, we are tired of him Lurking. Anyone who can make a lime martini as good as he can should be able to learn how to post. I also love the fact that my boy left his mark on A1A, I have never been so proud of someone on his birthday, way to go HG Pat. BLUE, YOUR MY BOY!!!!!!

Also, remember next time you call Sean Hannity, you need to use the name PhillyJen from Syracuse, so that I know it is you. BTW I owe your husband at least one bottle of Vanilla Stoli's, thanks for the great last night in the party cabin, maybe next time we go we could return the favor.

Tom

P.S. come on Pat you don't need to post your picture.
