I got a break on a Sizzix

I do not not have a Michaels near me, so when I went to Austin for my daughters swim meet, I saw one. I wondered in to look at the price of sizzix so that I would know what to bid on E-bay. I bought a few small things and when I checked out the cashier whipped out a 50% off coupon and used it on my highest price item($2). I asked her if I could use that on a sizzix. She said yes and I turned to my Hubby and said pleaseeeeeeeeeee. Now I am a proud owner, but I do not have any dies. Oh well, now my hubby knows what to get me for Christmas.

Welcome to the group of Sizzix lovers! I just got my sizzix recently. It was two weeks before I got to use the machine for the first time , and I love it. Thanks to hubby I have two dies , but because I'm in the no spending challenge I will have to wait for any more. And when I do get them it will only be with coupons. So far I have the splat and palm leaves. I'm hopin to add dies related to my favorite place in the world ( Florida ). Like the palm tree, shells, waves, etc. I also live near the beach so they will get a lot of use. When buying your dies consider how often you will use them , and what will give you the most versatility ). I also like the lollipop alphabet set and can't wait for the sizzix sizzlets to debut. I like embossing so I look forward to trying the brass templates in the converter. Enjoy your new toy , I know I am.

We were on vacation in Palm Springs when I bought my first sizzix. I had a 50% off coupon so, I ended up buying the lollipop alphabet. I figured that would be the easiest to fly home with. I didn't buy the actual machine until 3 months later. Welcome to the club. There is no turning back now! LOL
