Hi Everyone,
Just wondering if anyone here collects Walt Disney World Pressed pennies?
I've just started (have about 40+ right now) and can't wait to get back to find some more.

We started collecting the pressed pennies before we got into pins. The pressed pennies sure are a lot cheaper, although paying 50 cents for a penny is a little hard for me. We don't just collect Disney pressed pennies, though. My oldest dd likes to get pressed pennies wherever we find them. She doesn't have a huge collection of them...maybe 10-15 of them.

he just started on this last trip and is looking forward to doing more pennies on the August Pin trip. We have done autographs so many times and it has gotten to where we have so many of those, so in May we started the pressed pennie book......taking lots of quarters this time ......Cant wait.

I do prefer Disney pins, but also started collecting the pressed pennies to WDW.
I only got one at DL though (and one at the Wildlife Park).
Didn't have as much interest there in them for some reason.
But still like them.

DH loves hunting down the pressed penny machines and I always make sure I have shinny pennies and quarters handy. we dont have too many right now--about 10 or so. and I bought him the pressed penny book the last time I was in WDW. they are cute reminders of the trip!

My dd collects them. She loves the disney ones of course, but wherever we go, if there is a machine, she's there!!
We have filled up two of the penny press books we got in Disney and they are just about all filled up. Every once in awhile she will give up more $ and get a pressed quarter.
It's great fun hunting down the machines, pick what we don't have (they usually have at least 2-3 choices, we only let her get one, that way when we go back each year she adds to her collection). I think it's great souveniers. She has a couple of doubles, so if anyone wants to trade, let me know!

My DS started when he was 3 or 4. He's now 15 and has quite a few. We add 1 or 2 each trip. It's a great inexpensive souvenir that has now become quite a collection. That is if we can ever find them in his room.
