I had a great opportunity to go without kids yesturday morning so I was there when the doors opened -

I also got a Colorbok Fabric Shadow Box album with my 40% off (which I have 2 more of! AUGHHhh)
I am making a gift album and needed to buy one so that is actaully what I went for - I usually do strap Hindge and wanted to try something different!

I bought nothing! Didn't even go to either ACM or Michael's.
I am only shopping for my SS and boy did I get the neatest stuff at the LSS! I am going to have a hard time party with these goodies...

The worst part is I try to be good -
everyone antagonizes me -
I have an aunt I talk to 6 times a year who called to make sure I saw the ad!
Then I got an offer from an aquantance (who has NEVEER called me before- but I happened to bump into her yesturday am and tell her about the sale and how our Mike's never has the letter sets) she called and offered to have her daughter pick up what I needed at her Mike's in another state - I did decline that! LOL
My husband even came home with my mil's coupon saying I know you are going to go anyways - might as well save me a little money!

I have to go near Mike's tomorrow to pick up a poster I had framed it is going to be hard to keep away!
(note the poster is from our trip to dis last October and I just FINALLY got it framed - it is my fav souvenier - it is of my fam with Mike and Sully - sooo kewl!)

Okay, I must be in the dark here! But is Michael's having a 50% off sale on dies? And for how long? I swear I saw the coupon in the paper for 40% off coupon but nothing else. They didn't have a full add just a tiny section in the main part of the paper! I hope I didn't miss the boat....

Yep, Michaels is having 50% off sizzix this week.

I went yesterday and they were pretty much wiped out at our local store. A friend went to the one in Nashua, NH and she said the same thing.

I really wanted the pumpkin and ghost dies - oh well, next time!

Not every city is having the 50% off sale. I know we didn't , just a 40% off coupon as usual.

It seems to depend on what other stores are near you, and if they are having a sizzix sale.

It stinks, bad enough we only have Michaels, but what can you do!

I made myself feel a little better, by getting another tag die (I think I have them all now - lol)....at my LSS. It was double punch day, and I had a gift card to spend...so I didn't actually "spend" any money...LOL.

Crazyforpooh --- what is the seasonal set (14 dies) that you got? I haven't seen anything like that. My Michaels is pretty small. They also only have the lollipop alpha set (caps only) and the shadow alpha sets.
