Transportation from LAX to DL

We will be arriving on 11/2 around 11:30pm. Is there another way to get to the Grand Californian other than renting a car? We will not be going off property until we depart for LAX on 11/5 in the morning, so we don't feel the need to payh for a car to just sit in the parking lot!

We have taken supershuttle (www.supershuttle.com). This is a van/bus service to the DL resort area. No need for a reservation from LAX to Hotel. Pickup is just outside the bagagge area. One way cost to any DL resort area hotel is $14/person + Tip. To be picked up from the hotel you will have to make your reservation at least 24 hours in advance and they will pick up you 2.5 hours before your flight time.

We have also taken the airport bus (www.airportbus.com) from DGC to LAX. No reservations are needed and the bus leaves every 1/2 from the front of the hotel. Cost is $16pp one way or $25pp roundtrip plus tip.


I can't recommend one over the other, both have worked for us. Most Supershuttle drivers will try to get a full load (6 people) before leaving LAX, so this might take a while. I have never taken airport bus to DL, but just a return.

I understand the cost of a taxi one way to DCA is approximately $37 with additional charges per person.

Do you know if there is a limo service, like Tiffany Towncar at WDW? Our DD would get a kick out of it.

I have asked on this board before and no one knew of a limo service like TTC. I asked DGC Guest Services about a limo from DGC to LAX and was given a quote of approx. $90 one way. Ouch!
