Tracy (I think) mentioned penny press books. Anyone know where to get them out side of the parks?

You can order them from Jane and her Pixies at Gifts of a Lifetime.

We got ours right at Disney - they were available everywhere there were penny press machines. Also saw them at Seaworld. Can't remember exactly how much they cost, but in the $10 range.

Does each machine make a different design?

Has anyone compiled a list of all the places at MK to get different presses, yet? :)

The link I have for the pressed coin list is:

www.liss.olm.net/ec/disney/

I hope that this works.

I gave my son his for his 9th birthday. I sent away to Jane at Gifts of a Lifetime. He also received his EpCot passport and guest of honor pin.

The Jane's that you mention - is that a web site or phone ordering? Do you have info on how to contact them? Thanks much!
I'm thinking a penny book may be good for our Sept trip. Our DD will be 5 1/2 and DS almost 3. This way they won't be asking for expensive things they won't play with at home. Is this a good idea?
I also would love to get the Epcot passports before we go! Disney thinks of everything! My DH and I love Epcot but were worried the kids would be bored. Now they will have something fun to do.
Thanks for the info!

Jane runs a company called Gifts of a Lifetime. You can order through her website at www.giftsofalifetime.com

I pre-purchased the press penny book, an *official* autograph book, fat pen and GOH badges from Gifts of a Lifetime. I'll tell you honestly, we came home with 12 pressed pennies, 1 pressed quarter, not a single autograph (although we MET all the characters, pictures and video were more important ~ plus, auto. book got soaked during one rain, thankfully there WEREN'T any autos. in there!). DD also had Minnie floppy hat with brand new sharpie, met Minnie but, w/o the hat of course. The best purchase was the GOH badges! Many CM's addressed my kids and myself by name without any obvious effort! Sometimes, they surprised even me! (BTW, get yourself one, too! DH was disappointed I didn't get him one!)

I think unless you make the press pennies a MISSION, you won't just happen upon that many of them. I would find 2 machines, back to back, with 3 different impressions in them but, one of the machines would be out of order! And, I found that within the same park, several machines repeat the impressions. At least we got a penny from every single park! In my experience, we found the most at AK and we spent the least amount of time there!

Good Luck and Have Fun! ;)

We bought ours at Downtown Disney! My son LOVED getting his pressed pennies. He carried a film canister with quarters and pennies in his backpack. We just looked for the machines in the stores and at the resort.

My son also is looking for pp machines wherever we go. They have them at zoos, resort hotels, and Cedar Point. He is putting his non-Disney ones in his book as well.

Have a good trip.

I probably wouldn't bother to buy those things ahead of time, either. It's not worth the expense. Preordering GOH badges is a good idea, but for things like Epcot passports and penny press books, you can buy those anywhere. Wait and see if you need them, and don't pay the extra money you have to pay to preorder them.

You can also order them directly from WDW Merchandise the number is 407-363-6200 without paying a third party to do the shopping. Just be ready to describe the item you want. I looked at the website Gifts of a Lifetime to see what they have and I will order directly from WDW.
