Alright DIScreative minds. I’m making some birthday invitations for a little boy, and I need your help. The theme is Halloween, and we’re really picking up on the spider part of it (you know how little boys like spiders :) ). He’s going to be 5 and I have a plan in mind as to how the card will look (which is flexible should something better come up), but I’m looking for a clever lead in (you know the front of the card where it usually says “You’re invited”), relating to the theme. I have NOTHING, so I can’t even start the brainstorming off……..
Any ideas?? I figure this is the best place to come for ideas!

We gave a Halloween-themed Bachelorette Party/Personal Shower for a friend of mine a couple of years ago...The invitations went something like:
"Come out for a night of tricks and treats...
A Personal Shower for Jenny then we'll hit the streets"
I know this is for your 5 yo son, but perhaps you could change that up a little...
Some other ideas:
"Scare up a costume and join us for birthday fun"
"Halloween is almost here...Join ____ for fun and cheer"
"We're so happy we could scream, Why? Because it's Halloween"
"____'s turning 5, so cute it's scary"
"Witches, Goblins, Spiders oh my...Bring your little Monster to:"
"We're having a party, you're in for a scare, It's a birthday party, come if you dare..."
"BOO, our birthday party must include YOU"
"Calling all witches, pumpkins, ghosts and dragons too, we've got a spooky party planned just for you"
Well that's all I can come up with...can you tell I like Halloween :D
Good Luck and let us know what you decide! Your idea sounds really cute.
Take Care,
Candi
