AKL concierge w/ AP discount?

Did anyone receive an AP or other room only discount at AKL concierge last Jan. 03? Thanks

Yep... don't remember the exact rate, but it was an AP discount and I think it was about $240/night before tax...we are going this Nov and have an AP rate of $249/night before tax...so that is the general ballpark anyways.

SB in KY - is $240.00 the rate for a concierge room? Right now I have a Savannah view room booked for June 2004 at $379.00 a night (including tax.) So far there are not any discounts available, but if I could get concierge for over $100.00 a night less than what I am paying now, I would be thrilled!!!!!:earseek: :Pinkbounc

Wowee! I'm booked for July 2004 for $425 rack rate ($473.88 with tax) per night and I'm praying for discounts!

Isn't November considered regular season? So that means in July, which is value season, there should be an AP discount even better than the $249 the poster mentioned above.

How can this be?

Yes. For value season that ran from the begining of Jan through the middle of Feb 2003 the AP rate was $277 a night inc tax which is 11.5%.

We are hoping for a similar AP rate for our upcoming Jan 04 trip.
