I've already purchased tickets for our trip.
Can I apply the code (that I found on another thread) to my current reservation for a refund/credit?

I believe you can apply it for a credit. Call 1-800-435-9792.

I called and a not so nice person told me that they never take codes over the phone.
How can that be??

i cancelled mine & immediately rebooked w/ the code - all online
but then you might run the risk of your exact itinerary not being available

What is this "code" everyone is talking about? Can anyone use it? My current fare for r/t from Albany to Orlando is $99..
I couldn't possibly get it for LESS than that - could I?????

The code is only good for fares to 1/16/04.

Seems this is the only way it can be done.

Southwest WILL take a code over the phone, and apply the funds for future travel. Did it with my August trip, and just did it with the October trip. The August trip also did NOT have the same flight available, but the agent took the code and applied it to the existing reservation.
Must be like WDWCRO and depends on who you talk to....I'd call back SillyOldBear!

The code is only for rapid reward members. Which is no big deal because signing up is free. Just be sure to sign up befor trying to book the flights or you will not be able to use the code.
Hi.
We're flying from Providence to Orlando on Southwest in Feb '04 and unfortunately paying big bucks. For future reference where can internet codes be found? Thank you.

They are sent to Rapid Rewards members on a random basis. Usually the minute someone gets one they post it here.
Did you try looking at Tampa as an alternative?

Eep! I'm a Rapid Rewards member who never received any kind of promo code ... Could someone please post it here or PM it to me? I'm visiting family in Albany for Christmas and could definitely use a discount!
Thanks much,
Jess

It is mailed at random. The code is posted on the transportation board.
