We are leaving 8/26-9/2 from EWR-MCO (JFK distant 2nd choice). My mom thought she read you mentioned that in July ticket prices may come down so she wants to wait to purchase our tickets.
As of now, the lowest I see from EWR or JFK is $179 (I check a few times a day) with 1 stop changing planes :(
CO for $179 from EWR one change going, non-stop from MCO-should we just grab this?
I did see $151 RT (change planes to/from from JFK-MCO with NW but JFK is not too great for us.
I know it is only an opinion, but do you really think prices will come down that much for us to wait? Thanks!

fares just came out today on usair. have you thought about flying out of LGA too? a lot of the carriers matched the sales that just came out today.

Went on USA and called them directly. The cheapest flight I could find was $182.50 R/T-one stop each way :(
Did orbitz, expedia, yahoo and all airline sites and still CO is the best at $179 pp r/t. One stop going (switch planes :( ) and non-stop home. Staying with ewr, jfk will be hard to get someone to bring us and a taxi would be approx. $50 each way. LAG way too far. I guess this is the best we are going to do although my mom thinks it will go down to $150? :confused: I think we will book anyway today to at least get the desired flight times (morning). :cool: What do you think BeverlyLynn?

Check Delta!!! Just booked today for 145 RT ewr to mco. way home connects is Ohio but it was a 130 savings for a hour hassle.

our fares here from pit just dropped to 160 round trip! I know for the new york trio of airports JFK?EWR?LGA the fares fluctuate so much from one to another! if you really want to use EWR have you checked with continental and thought of using one of the coupons they had? they ahve them in the entertainment book. I don't know all the specifics but it might take 25 off per tkt depending on the fare. CO also have web specials and in an email I got late last night I read about some more on expedia that just came out as well.

Saw EWR to MCO, R/T, on Continental for $141.50 on Friday. I think it was on Expedia. Dates that I checked were 8/26/01 to 9/2/01. Good luck:)

Thanks karensi, but the $141 fare are for connections both going and coming from Orlando. :) :)
