I am looking for weight training home gym equipment...any suggestions?

Okay, I have tried to research this online, but I do not have the patience to search through a thousand websites! Does anyone have a weight system (not a bench) that works the whole body? Or, does anyone know of a good website that compares these types of machines and gives reviews of them, preferably independent reviews?

I am working on making exercise "foolproof" and want to invest in one good piece of equipment for my home, thanks for your help!

I'd like to know this, too! I asked awhile back and no one really could tell me. Dh has no place around here to exercise. I have Curves, but he can't join :(

We've gotten the information on a Bowflex. We're limited to the kind we can get because our basement has a low ceiling and some of their machines are monsters (but then again, do we NEED 98 different exercises?)

I asked for, and received, a free DVD from Bowflex but haven't had time to watch it. I'm interested to see what it's like.

I'll be interested to see if anyone else has any other ideas.
I wonder if Consumer Reports did anything on exercise equipment.

As I suspected, Consumer Reports has a big thing on home gyms from March of 2001.
