I understand that if you have a land/sea package you are allowed to check in for your cruise while you are at the resort you are staying at. Does anyone know if you can check in early if you do not have the land/sea package but are staying at a resort before your cruise? We will be at the AKL for two nights and then off to the 3 day Wonder.

.. and still had to check in at the cruise terminal before we boarded the ship. Is this what you mean?
We checked in at the hotel for the beginning of the L/S pkg & they gave us our cards, etc., but as far as I know you still have to go thru the process at the terminal.

I think so. I thought I read somewhere that if you check in at your resort that you go to a different line at the cruise terminal than if you hadn't check in. Not as long of a wait or something like that. Not that it really matters. I just thought it would be easier to have paperwork out of the way before you got there. But I'm still not sure if you can do this if you did not purchase the land/sea package. Thanks!

We did the Land/ Sea in April and only had to check in at the resort. Our key to the World cards that we had at the hotel were still good at the ship(had to settle our hotel account before leaving hotel though). We just scanned our luggage and walked thru the Mickey archway onto the ship. Never checked in at the port. I don't think you can if you don't book the land/sea, It would be nice because we are also staying at WDW beforehand.

We didn't check in at all with our l/s. We walked from the bus straight through the terminal.

It may be different if you don't have a l/s set up through disney. The resort probably doesn't have your cruise information. Can they link it somehow? You'll probably have to ask them directly about this one.
