Thinking of getting one of the Capital One Disney cards, but it seems to be some sort of state secret what you get & how you accrue points. Does anyone have any info on it? THANKS.

You get 1% on all purchases. When you have at least 20 Disney Dream Reward Dollars, you can redeem them for gift certs for Disneyland, gift certs for Disney World/Disney Cruise Line, or gift cards for Disney Stores/Disney Catalog purcahses. They have to be redeemed in multiples of 10.

I have been using my card for everything--groceries, gas, online and store purchases, bathroom redmodel--since we got it in March. Right now we have 81 DDRD, and estimate I'll have at least 20 more before I'm ready to cash out. So that's $100 towards our food purchases at WDW.

That's the card I mean, thx for the info. I'm not sure if it's better than just using my Amer Airlines card for everything. They say the freq flier cards are worth 2 cents per mile, which is twice the value of Disney card, but I AM paying an annual fee, so that cuts into it. To be honest, the only reason I haven't applied so far is that I couldn't get any info on it! I'm thinking, "Why would I want to go thru the whole process of applying for a card if I don't even know if I want it?" Now, tho, I'm thinking, "Yeah, sounds good!" Thx, again. See you at WDW!
