I have 5630 points at Milesource. I want to cash out for $50 Olive Garden gc. Is it safe to do that, or is giftcert.com going out of business in a week or so?

I just recently cashed out for a $25 Rainforest Cafe. The whole process took less than a week, including snail mail time.

I'm a little worried because some of the GCs I wanted to get aren't available (Marriot and some restaurants) and some are in low supply. I did find some that I could use as gifts for Christmas and birthdays, so I ordered them.
Hope I don't have to wait too long.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I thoughtI'd be brave & go ahead & try to cash out for a $50 supercert. I went to giftcert.com 1st to see exactly what was available & No Olive Garden or RainForest Cafe gc available. So I didn't cash out. How often shd I check to see if they get any, or shd I wait & see if they just die? We are not going until July 31, so I guess I can wait.

Maybe they aren't going to replenish their supply; once something is out, that's it. The reaon I say this is because I went to cash out May 20th and there were no Rainforest Cafe GCs then, so I guess they haven't replenished since then. Just a thought.

I think I'll email milesource and let them know that the GCs I want aren't available at giftcertificates.com and ask them to consider some other reward like webcerts.
Basically if you don't get a supercert, what else is there?

My mom is ready to cash out too. But, like the others have said, they don't have anything that we need, so she is waiting. I don't want her to get stuck with a supercertificate that is no good. I really hope they consider webcerts, that would help all of us out!

to let them know we are interested in webcertificates. So many others offer them, maybe Milesource will too :)
I have emailed them in the past about this, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to do so again!

...to try to cash in a SuperCertificate, and they don't have what I want. And they haven't had it for weeks!! The kids and I are taking a trip to Florida (non-Disney boo hoo!) at the end of this month, and I was counting on the 3 $25 Marriott GC's I had earned through Milesource. Well, they were out, so this is what I did: We own a home in Alabama that is currently rented out, and we have been using TruGreen-ChemLawn to treat the grass (keeps up the yard and a tax deduction on rental income!). Anyway, I cashed in for ChemLawn GC's, and I'm just taking the money out of the checking account to use on our trip. Same outcome, I know, but I just LOVE having the GC in my briefcase when I leave for a trip!! I really wish Milesource would start offering WebCerts. I've e-mailed them with my suggestion, and I recommend that others do the same. Maybe we can get them to switch over, or at least to add WebCerts to their offerings.
Everyone have a great day!!
