Do you already have your hotel? If not, if you shop around you should be able to get an off-site hotel for $50 or so a night, that would come to about $300 with taxes and such.
We are also a family of 5. Our 3 DS's are 9, 7, & 3.5. We budget $150/day for meals and snacks. That is $750 for 5 days. That leaves almost $1000 for parking, tipping, souveniers, etc.
I am also assuming that you are driving or have already taken care of transportation expenses. If I am wrong about that, then you will have to figure those costs as well.

Please be more specific...
Where are you staying, onsite or off, hotel or campground?
Are you driving or flying?
Are you renting a car? Using transfers? Paying for parking?
Will you need an overnight stop enroute?
Which park passes did you get, for what ages, how much?
Do you plan to eat groceries & use a cooler or fridge, eat out at counter service or sitdown restaurants? Which ones?
Are you big shoppers, for souvenirs?
Now, which expenses need to be included in your $2,000?
We've done WDW for a week for $2,000 for our family of 5. We've also spent over $5,500 for a week. And we're not concierge, eat at V&A's kind of people. Still, it can vary a lot. Give us more detail and we can help more. And moving this to the Budget board would help too.
