We only have E-tickets for our trip in Oct. Would you change these in before the departure day? Also 9yr sons seat only has * (check-in at gate). When we ordered these tickets we were given seats numbers. Does he actually have a seat next to mine but we need to show that he is a child? Would you call or are we all set?

No need to exchange etickets. I would call Delta to confirm that your son is assigned a seat next to you.

Does your son have frequent flyer #? If so you can go to the Delta Web Site and confirm you seat numbers. If not, just call Delta and ask. I would not change to paper tickets. If you lose paper tickets you are in trouble! You can't lose e-tickets!

its an e-tkt you have a confirmation for that. you will also be subjected to a schedule change before your flt in oct. so more than likely your info will change anyways. so it is best to call them and reconfirm at least once a month until then to see if you are indeed affected by a schedule change. and for an e-tkt all you have to do is go to the airport and show a photo id to get your boarding pass. you don't have to get any kind of a "ticket" per say you already have an electronic one. (its in the computer) all you need is the paper boarding pass. if you have any further questions or concerns feel free to pm or email me as many others do.
