I'm thinking of staying our first two nights in Orlando at the HRH and read the great rate with the Entertainment card.
Is this the same Entertainment as is on the Disney Club Card or do I have to buy a separate card?
Thanks,

The entertainment rate is obtained by buying an Entertainment Book.
Their website is www.entertainment.com
Just choose the city you want.

No, it's not the same. You need to buy the book.

I am confussed, the back of my DC card says ""entertainment" and they sent me a
small booklet that says "1/2 off, be sure to identify yourself as an Entertainment
Member when making reservations" I hope the "entertainment rate I just booked
at the HRH will be honnered with my DC card that has the "entertainment" symbol
on the back of it.

I read something about the DC card with the entertainment symbol in another post. I believe it said they will honor it. I wish I could remember the title of the posting for you.

We researched this very topic at the beginning of the year. At first the DC site posted HR and PB on the EC. Very quickly it was removed because HR and PB said they would not honor the EC discount on the DC card. In fact only the Swan & Dolphin (being on Disney property) will honor it in the Orlando area. However HR and PB will honor the EC discount on the regular EC card. I have 2 rooms reserved with the EC discount for Nov. The current book for 2001 expires Nov 1st, seeing we'll be there Thanksgiving 2001 I'll need to wait for the 2002 book to become available. Hope this helps.:sunny:

I called entertainment & asked about this myself. I was told the DC was valid as entertainment anywhere except Orlando & Anehiem(?) for hotel discounts. That is the agreement they have.

Thanks for all that information. I would have hated to show up
at HRH with that nasty surprise. I called them back and they do
have a FAN rate of $143.00 vrs the Entertainment rate of
$117.50. It will be about the same as the cost to get the E
book $20.00 plus shipping so I may just do the Fan Rate, since
we are only staying one night and appartently the book expires
in November. Would there be an other benifits to the book like
discounts at Citywalk or places to eat. Not having a car I am
sure we will eat at Universal or the hotel.
Thanks for your help!
