Does anyone have any recipes for crockpot desserts?? I had one for a yummy warm chocolate cake/pudding that you scooped out and put ice cream on top. I'll try to find it but so far I can't put my hands on it.

Ooooo, that chocolate thing sounds soooo good! I hope you can find it to share with us.

This one was shared here before & we have this often during the fall & winter. (I always put in the apple & serve with vanilla ice cream. Mmmm!)

Pumpkin Job
16 oz pumpkin
2½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp vanilla
1 can evaporated milk
¾ c sugar
½ c Jiffy mix (or Bisquick)
2 Tbl margarine
2 eggs
Spray crockery with non-stick spray. Beat ingredients together until smooth with a hand mixer. Pour into crockery. Cook on Low 6-8 hours, High 3-4 hours. Top with cool whip or ice cream. Optional: add 2 apples sliced. Serves 6

****Quick OT question...does anyone know where to get a replacement crock for a Rival oval? DH dropped mine & shattered it. :(

I haven't tried these yet, but I had a couple in my slow cooker file:

APPLE CRUMBLE
4-5 cooking apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons butter

Lightly butter the crock pot and place apple slices on the base. Combine sugar, flour, rolled oats, ginger and nutmeg and cut in butter, using a pastry blender or knife. Sprinkle this mixture over the apples. Cover and cook on Low or Auto 5-6 hrs.

Sugared Pecans

· 16 ounces pecan halves
· 1/2 cup butter, melted
· 1/2 cup powdered sugar
· 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
· 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
· 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
Stir the pecans and butter in a 3 1/2-quart Crock Pot until combined. Add powdered sugar, stirring to coat. Cover and cook on high for 15 minutes. Turn to low and cook uncovered for about 2 hours, or until the nuts are covered with a crisp glaze.
Transfer to a bowl, combine spices and sift over nuts, tossing to distribute evenly. Cool before serving.

Good Luck,
Candi

Here you go, I hope that this is the chocolate dessert that you are talking about. I got it from a Yahoo group I'm on for slowcooker's

1 package chocolate cake mix
1 package instant chocolate pudding
4 eggs
1 cup water
1 pint sour cream
3/4 cup oil
6 ounces chocolate chips

In a large bowl stir together the cake mix and the pudding mix. In a medium
bowl, beat the eggs with the water, then add the sour cream and oil and stir
until smooth. Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and beat well. Stir in the
chocolate chips.

Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick spray. Pour batter into
crockpot. Place a paper towel over the top of the crockpot and then cover and
cook on low for 6 hours. The paper towel absorbs the moisture and keeps it from
dripping back into the pot. Change it once or twice if it gets really wet.

Serve the dessert warm in a bowl with ice cream or whipped cream.

Yield: 10 servings
