OK all you tent campers and others who use campground facilities, what type of footwear do YOU wear in campground showers? Mesh shower shoes? Flip flops? Aqua socks?
Let me know......:D

I'm a flip flop type of guy. I tried the aqua sox, but how can you wash your feet with those things on?

We use mesh shower shoes. The holes are big enough that we can wash right through them! :)

Flip flops for sure...
I can't wash through anything... I gotta have "soapy washrag" right on my dirty foot... no middle man.
But I wear flip flops everywhere!!!
I'm kooky that way! :earsboy:

I went with my Nike/ Teva style sandals as well. They worked fine.

about the tevas...how long do they take to dry? I planned on wearing mine to a couple of the parks ( that would mortify my kids but oh yeah ,they won't be there! lol) and so don't know if I'd get blisters or what ever if they were wet. any thoughts? just got them yesterday at end of summer clearance for $10.00... Yahh hoo!

those "bordering on very ugly" rubber hiking sandles.thick sole with tread, web adjustable straps. I think originally they were for use in place of hiking boots. they sell them on sierra trading post( think that is the full name of the site) and I'm sure other camping/ outdoor type places too
Not so ugly anymore! Some of the newest styles are pretty snazzy -- mine are navy with a lime green blaze/lightning bolt -- sold as "discontinued" - bought at Sierra Trading Post website for $29.99 - special free shipping code. Wore them everyday for 10 days in August at WDW - no blisters, no achy feet. Received many compliments and questions on where to buy. I personally would not wear them in the shower only because I found that they attract dirt when wet and I want to keep mine pristine. Having said that, I accidently wore them while gardening recently and was able to get them clean with a hard scrubbing with Dawn dishwashing liquid.
I have a special pair of non-thong style flipflops I use for the shower (hate that thing between my toes!)
