I'll have to leave a little early for Halloween Horror Nights (around 2 or 3 pm), but since many will be wandering around for the Halloween thing that day, how about a morning meet at WDW on Sunday, October 19? We can do Mission Space at Epcot and Philharmagic at MK. Maybe we can meet at around 9 for Mission Space and 11 or 11:30 for Philharmagic?

That might even be better for me. You can take the kids on Mission Space ;) I can do a little more of Food & Wine, then head home.

This is a girls only trip for me and mom....so she won't be riding...she will be chatting away with Cheryl....
I will ride though...who else is going to be there?
I am doing a MK Fireworks cruise on the 18th so I know of a group of people that will be in the world at this time...I will mention it to the group and see who else wants to meet for a ride.
Since Mom doesn't do those kind of rides I would LOVE to have a group of people (or even one person) to talk to during the wait...otherwise im just talking to myself....lol

I'm thinking of doing a MK meet at around 9 for Philharmagic and a few other rides. Then we can take the monorail to Epcot for some more fun!

Im not sure if I will make the MK Meet, but I will be at Epcot at noon for sure! Im saving my "first time" on Space for that day!!

I doubt I will be able to get to the MK by 9:00am. I have to check out, pack the car & het the kids breakfast. I WILL be at Epcot at noon! :)

I talked to Mom, she is the one going with me...and she said MK at 9 would be OK with her, she is looking foward to seeing the Philharmagic!

Sounds good! Anyone up for a Dumbo ride at 9 am? I think MK is EE on Sunday, so if anyone's staying onsite, perhaps we can sneak in early? I forget if Fantasyland is open during EE or not.

No Dumbo for me....I do go on most of the other rides though.....

I was thinking of some meet video inclusions...
We can all ride IASW and comment on the ride.
We can all go to Ice Station Cool in Epcot and I'll videotape you as you drink the Beverly!
I think these things will be pretty funny. :)

It is not cruel! :) I think it will be funny watching people get gross faces while drinking the Beverly. Now if I did 5 or 6 takes on IASW and made you ride it 5-6 times, now that's cruel! :)

LOL, I actually didn't think it was as nasty as everyone says. It's not something I'd want to drink but it didn't taste any worse than like cough medicine. I like the stuff from Mexico, the lime flavor, that was yummy, a bit too carbonated but still not bad. :)
What you need to do is to get someone to drink a whole bunch of Beverly and then take them on Mission Space with you so you can watch them re-deposit it once they get off. ;)

As for the Mission: Space meet, I'm worried that if we meet at noon, the line will be over 60+ minutes. I've seen long single rider lines too. I guess we will have to see. If we can get a FP in a reasonable window, I guess we can do that too.

Am I allowed to bring my kids to this meet? I am sure they would make great faces for the video when drinking the Beverly ;)
If so, I will try to make at least part of the day. We have MNSSHP that evening, and the kids will be done before midnight for sure if we do a whole day in the parks before the party LOL
We will have to head back to the room around 3 to get dressed for the party.
Who knows maybe I will leave the kids w/my Mom for the day and have part of a day for just myself :) Then, it would be just me since my husband will be gone home to work by that date :(
Let me know if the kids can come and when/where the meets are for sure. We leave this Sunday early, so if I don't hear by then, I guess I will miss you this time :(

As of right now it looks like, the meet is at Philharmagic at 9AM and MS in EPCOT at noon. Correct me if I am wrong :)

Shoot, I missed KathyR. Sorry, this slipped my mind. If she's still reading, let's meet in front of Philharmagic at around 9 or 9:15 (depending on how fast we can get across the lagoon) and noon in front of Mission: Space.

I would love to join you guys in the MK...I have figured out that the time will be 9am, but did I miss where we're meeting? It will be DH-33 (not so addicted to Disney-YET!) and I-29 (self proclaimed disney addict). I am working on finding something green to display. This is exciting...I can experience WDW for a little while with people who understand me! :teeth:

It's around 9ish at Philharmagic (depending on how fast people can get across the lagoon) and noon at Mission: Space. I'll have to leave a bit early -- 2:30-ish -- to make it to IOA for Halloween Horror Nights.
Michelle are you sure you can't make MS? I'd love to meet you! Kathy, my kids will be there. well, the six year old will be there for sure, not sure about the fickle teen. She's all worried about getting home and not missing school the next day, (not sure she's really mine).;)

You might want to try your local Home Depot, in the paint Dept they have Mickey Head Stickers in the various colors of paint, they have a lime green and they are free!!!
Just get one and write your Name and your DIS name on it and you are all set!!....or just wear it plain....
You will see me coming with all my dis gear.....I don't blame you if you run the other way!:moped:

Thanks for the time and place confirmation Barry! I am excited to meet all of you. This is our first day there, and DH's first experience at WDW. I need you guys to help me 'disneyize' my DH. He just doesn't get the whole WDW experience, and when I ask him what he is looking most forward to he says: (warning, only continue reading if you think you can handle the opinion on a non-disney freak!) "I'm most looking forward to not working, Disney world is ok, but I'm just looking forward to not having to work" :rolleyes: Oh my, I don't know what to do! Can you believe that my husband does not express excitment about wishes, mickey's philharmagic, mission space, dole whips, haunted mansion, mnsshp, or fantasmic!?! All he cares about is that he's not working!?!?! :faint: I need your help desperately! Are you guys up to the challenge?

Where exactly are we meeting in front of MS, I'm not familiar with that area. Maybe in front of one of the planets?

I have time as well....since the only thing we have planned that day is the Hoop Dee doo that night!!
If we can get an idea of how many there will be I would be glad to make a PS, although I really have no idea of what time we would make it there....

Maybe Cheryl will be there early since she isn't going to the MK meet? Im not really sure what her schedule is though.
Okay, I'm in for garden Grill. Three for us. I will try to get to MS by 11:30. I have to pick Crystina up at Portofino, she's staying there Saturday night with some friends (lucky her!). If all goes well with parking and such I will try like heck to get to Epcot earlier. Anyone taht knows me might think this is impossible! ;) Worse case we skip MS and do some other stuff!
Just being together is all that counts! LOLOLOLOl:rolleyes:

I just wanted to let everyone know that Brian and I have decided not to join all of you in EPCOT. We are still looking forward to meeting up with you at Mickey's PhilharMagic. I really wish that we could join back up with you at the Garden Grill, but we have MNSSHP that night with dinner PS at 1700. Looking forward to meeting you all Sunday. (Can you believe our trips are that soon?) :bounce:

oh, I'm not sure about that. I decided that it might be too much money for us to go. This was supposed to be a budget trip since I'm going back Nov.2nd for a week with my DH to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Can you stay in the park after it closes, or do they kick you out? I know you can't go on attractions. I was thinking I could just stay and meet people at LTT then go.

I'm not sure how that would work. I do know that at some point I have to show my MNSSHP tickets in order to get us wristbands. I don't know what you would do if you're just walking around without them. I do understand the expense part though...we couldn't decide if we wanted to go or not. I am glad that we decided to go. Congrats on your 10th anniversary! well, I hope to see you, but if I don't sorry I missed you!

I will be at the Philharmagic and MS meets. I won't be at the lunch I want to do some of the grazing in the various countries since it is the start of Food and Wine. I will be leaving at the same time as Barry to get over to HHN also that night. See you at 9 am at the Magic Kingdom.

Thanks to everyone who came to the MS meet Sunday! We had a nice time, it was great putting a name to a face! Garden Grill lunch was delicious!! Could have done w/o Barry's video camera in our face the whole time though!:p
