I just checked out www.discovercard.com (http://www.discovercard.com) for more information. I believe you don't have to purchase a package to get an extra day free. Check it out.

"Universal Orlando Resort:
Use your Discover Card to purchase a 2-Day ticket at Universal Orlando Resort and you will receive an EXTRA DAY FREE!++"

:) :)

Just went to discover cards site. You do have to book a package.
Discover promotion Universal (http://www.discovercard.com/discover/data/about/sponsorships/universal.shtml)

Get an Extra Day Free at Universal Studios® Theme Parks!

Have the adventure of a lifetime! Simply use your Discover® Card to purchase a thrilling Adventure Package to Universal Studios® and Islands of AdventureSM theme parks at Universal OrlandoSM Resort or an exhilarating Star Package to Universal Studios Hollywood®.

Just doesnt seem like any big deal :(
I wish they were offering a free night! One more day on a 2 day pass is only around $12-15 difference. The price they charge for the package is no deal either. One could book the hotel much cheaper using the entertainment card. The money saved booking hotel on your own would enable you to buy a lot more than one more day on your pass.

wisny, this whole thing baffles me! I guess its the wording. Why do they call it Universal Orlando Resort? Resort means hotel to me? I went back to read what you saw and cant figure out what kind of multi day pass expires in 30 days after purchasing? Sounds like maybe they have a special ticket? Now I am wondering do they give you a 2 day pass that doesnt expire and give you a seperate third day pass that expires in 30 days? Thankfully I have no use for this offer. Thank you for pointing out the additional offer :D

Since I plan on buying 3-day tickets from AAA for $99 each sometime this next week, I may be interested in this 2-day ticket with the third day free that Discover is offering. What is the gate price, including tax, for a 2 day ticket?

Thanks, Pinky
