... especially at night??
I can't believe my kids! Maybe it's because they don't know what to expect -- but they both seem so lukewarm about this trip!
I'm getting the impression that I won't be able to keep them busy at the parks ALL day and into the evening. What are some fun things we can do -- after dinner -- that won't cost alot of $$?
DS is 17; DD is 13. He wants to do daredeveil stuff; she just wants to shop!

You didn't mention where you were staying...as our kids got a little older, we let them take off on their own during the day (we were staying on disney property)...gave them a small budget to shop, choose a recreational activity, or whatever they wanted within their budget...they thought this was excellent, and much better than hanging out with their parents all day. I about had a heart attack the first time we let them go...I was a nervous wreck...but it all worked out for the best and they had a great time and made some special memories all on their own. We would usually meet up for dinner and fireworks later in the evening. The only restriction they had, besides the $$ amount they could spend was that the two of them had to stick together. They were not to separate. You would be surprised how quickly cooperation between teen siblings (son/daughter) was learned.

I ordered a media kit from www.ticketmania.com for $6. It was full of coupons for off-site activities that teens would love. There were even 4 coupons for free go-cart rides. also included were discount coupons for the Skycoaster (bungee jump thing), mini-golf and the like. There were also tons of off-site restaurant coupons. I thought it was well worth the $$.

I've thought about ordering that media kit as well, but want to wait until its closer to the time we leave for WDW (we'll be there between December 22-29, 2001.
Is it worth it? I figure for $6 it can't really go wrong, but then again, thats $6 that I could use at WDW! LOL
