Can Pirates of the Caribbean even hope to top this?

Today is the day - Pirates of the Caribbean was the #3 movie at the box office this weekend, and at $282 million it passes the Matrix:Reloaded (including the Imax release) to place as the #2 movie of the summer-

I like Nemo, but Pirates appeals to more people overall. I'm hoping it makes it to #1 for the year.

Pirates is my favorite movie this year! I hope it does well at the box office and that the Golden Globe and Oscar people remember it at award time too!

POTC is the BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR! I really hope Johnny Depp gets a nomination for his role as best actor...and Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom for best supporting actress/actor , respectively. :)
