a beaver tail is a flat piece of pastry that is fried. It is shaped like the tail of a beaver, hence it's name. They are sold at Epcot in the World Showcase - Canada.

The Frontierland Shooting Arcade takes quarters. Only I don't remember if it is one or two at a time! My husband loves doing that. The last time we were there he was scrounging from the bottom of my bag to see if there were ANY quarters left. This time we will take him a roll!

You may want to adjust the churro price.
We got some on 8/29 and they were $2.29 a piece. We bought them at Cantina de San Angel (counter service) at Epcot.

FFerret-
i was there in may and bought my mom a disney apron with mickey on it. they had several characters to choose from. Depending on the style I believe they were between $20-$25. I got mine in the kitchen store at downtown disney, but they had them at other places as well....

Enjoy your trip- wish i was going again soon!

For the beaver tails, the caveat is that the kiosk is not always open. It was not open when I checked this past Friday evening, nor when I checked a few times on Thurs afternoon. I think it had been open on Labor Day Monday, but I didn't buy one then because I wasn't hungry and I figured I'd have other chances.
Edited to add- I don't remember seeing a kiosk outside HM this past week. I'd seen it in past years.

GREAT--that sounds awesome :)
Are they full ones (cover torso) or the waist ones? Any villain ones? Did you happen to see any at MK or the parks--I don't think we can get to DTD but I'll try--thanks so much again!

I'm not sure where Bielefeld is but we lived in Bavaria in the 80s--what a gorgeous country! We were in Schweinfurt, and I went to the American jr high there and the senior one in Wurzburg :)
Hoping to find some nice pastires at Epcot--we lived two doors down from the Bakerei :)

They are the full ones; i don't believe i saw any that were just the waist. I can't recall if there were villain ones- there was definitely mickey, pooh, goofy, and tink, but you never know they could have some new styles by now. If i recall correctly i believe that is saw them at MGM as well as DTD- one of the stores down the main strip, but i can't remember exactly which one.

I have seen the aprons at MK on Main Street. There is a store on the right hand side (as you face the castle) that has jams, jellies, and other miscellaneous kitchen stuff and I saw the aprons there. I don't remember any villain ones either - I would have gotten one if I had seen it but got the Tinker Bell one instead. They also have matching oven mitts which are very cute. You may also see the aprons at the kitchen-themed store that is under the little bridge as you leave Fantasyland (near Peter Pan) - I can't remember for sure that they had them but it is probably not unlikely given the theme of the store.

Didn't know that about the time of the kiosk's opening.
Anybody got some info on this one? How big is it? Sounds heavenly! I just read about it at the restaurant board:

Just back on Saturday - the typical adult t-shirt is now $28.00. Not sure about kids' sizes.
I noticed that everything that was $12 last year (silver rings, Mr. Potato Head) is now $16.
Pins that were $6.50 last year are now $8.50. This was the first year I've noticed such a jump in merchandise prices. The food seems to be about the same as years past.
20 oz bottled soda: $2.50
Large soda in cup with ice: $2.29

At least one of the times I saw it closed was after 3pm, as I didn't even arrive at Epcot until after 6pm that evening. So it must vary.

The photos they take at the entrance of the park.
1 - 5 x 7 - $13.80 ( incl tax)
2 - 5 x 7 and 4 wallets $28.65 (incl tax)
The pin prices vary from $6.50 to $12. It all depends on what's on the pin. Some have moveable parts.
They have two different size scrapbooks. I bought the smaller one. It's 5x7 with Tink on the cover and it costs $15. The supplies for that size scrapbook cost $8 a set.

Ok, I want to add some "edits" to stuff you already have. There ARE still pins that cost $6.50. Then they range on up in price, but there definitely are some that still cost $6.50.
I bought an 8x10 scrapbooking kit, which included 10 sheets of paper, lots of stickers (LOTS), and some cool cutouts, etc. A great value at $12 I thought.
That's all for now.

Unfortunately, I know how much it is to do laundry....at CBR, it was $2.00 to do a load & $2.00 to dry it....it was cheaper to buy the detergent & dryer sheets in the laundry room than to buy those things in the gift shop....found that out the hard way....
