But I'm still having troble with the UK-US sizes - I thought your sizes were one down from ours - i.e a Uk 12 is a US 10 but in Gap they told me to take 2 off - ie - UK12 is a US 8.
Anyway I went to my favourite designer shop which unhappily is closing down, but happily is having a great closing down sale - Items reduced from £300 to £10!!! I saw a pair of Fendi jeans that were pretty gross and not my kind of thing - salmon pink with a gold strip running down the side (think older bleached lady in St Tropez) but I just had too try them on to see if they fit. I had to sort of wriggle around but I got them done up and I could still breathe!! (always a good thing!)
Didn't buy them but I did get a lovely MaxMara embroidered denim jacket and an alberto ferrari(is that the right name?) strapless, woolen tube dress in a gorgeous silk knit. Belly still looks suspicously(sp) jelly like as it's really clingy but time and exercise will cure that and it loks great in my closet;)
