I am having a really bad day and although I am not hungry I am in search of "comfort food". I just called DH and told him to pick up some Reeses Peanut Butter Cups on his way home and I know I am going to eat them, but I want to prevent myself from eating anything else as I work through my grief. Any suggestions?

I'm so sorry. :(

When I'm upset, a walk clears my head and brings the world into perspective...try to keep active today and you won't want to eat as much. Food is not going to make you feel better.

{{{hugs}}} Debbi. I know how hard it is to lose a furbaby :(

Keep busy is the best thing ........get going on a hobby, play with DS, get moving (walking, gym trip).
Keep that mind occupied with other things.

I am SO SORRY that you lost Max. I know it makes it doubly hard that you couldn't be there with him. YOU gave him lots of love during his years on this earth. Try to remember the good times.

So sorry about your loss. What a tough blow. I'm so sorry.

Pull just a few out of the bag, then hide the rest of those Reeses. Or better yet, have your husband hide them. You can get through this.

Keep your chin up!

Debbi I am So sorry to hear about Max. Instead of eating why don't you get your thoughts and feelings down on paper, start a journal. Sending some PD your way.

{{{{HUGS}}}} to you. I'm so sorry to hear about your Max.

I just lost my little kitty Max in July. What helped me the most to start working through my grief was walking with my DH & coming here to WISH & talking about it. Be strong, you will get through this.
