at least for me. I was having a bit every day, usually less than 1 serving. I soon noticed that I was no longer losing weight. :(

I haven't had one bite in 3 days now and have lost 2 1/2 lbs in those 3 days! :) :) :)

Only 1/2 lb more until I get my 20 lb clippie!!! It's almost time to go clothes shopping. ;)

Why can't it all taste awful like some of the low carb bars I've tried!!! One chocolate bar in particular....chocalate de-lite bars I think are so wonderful and EVIL!

Hang in there girl, we can do this without these treats!

Yep, sugar free candy can stall some people out and stop the losing. Good thing you figured it out :)

You are going to have that 20 pound loss clippie in no time at all. Can't wait to see it in your signature.

Oh-oh...I got a bag of that Russell Stover's sugar-free pecan candies and ate them in two days:o. It's just better if I don't have the stuff (evil is a "nice" word for it:p) around for the time-being.
LisaTx, I was one lb away from the 20lb clippie as of last Sat/weigh-in. Hope all my exercise pays off!
Sounds like you will have your 20lb clippie:) --you're doing great.

For me, most sugar-free products (except for diet soda and those sweetened with Splenda) just create cravings and make it harder to stay with my eating plan.

It helps me if I imagine that the green icon that the Poison Control Centers use is pasted right over the tantalizing picture that is always on the wrapper or packaging. :teeth:

Luckily (oxymoron), I get migraines from NutraSweet, always have. So I've known long before Atkins that stuff was most EVIL (but I won't get on my soap box now  ) and just recently I've discovered too much Splenda products...well, how shall I put it.....quoting the label “have a laxative effect." Note to self: sugar-free stuff don't eat it!- Well not too much anyways:p

I agree, Lisa!! Everytime I eat just a tiny piece of the stuff, I stall myself! I have sworn off low carb candy now, but every once in a great while, I really have the urge for some chocolate and have a little bite! :p

I'm another one that stalls just smelling the stuff. Which is too bad since I just discovered the evil Russell Stover S'Mores candies! Wow, they should be illegal.

I not only stall with the SF candy, but also when I eat the Atkins bars. I guess I'm just doomed to eat boiled eggs for breakfast forever, although lately BBQ pork rinds have been my breakfast of choice.

I have fallen into that trap. I'll be right back, I have to go throw away some of YUMMY s/f peppermint patties. I am in a major stall & will be starting back on square one.

The problem is that I have grown bored of meat & salads.

Wish me luck!!!

After reading this I decided to give up my Atkins Caramel Bars. It has now been three days and I have noticed a small weight loss.

I was still eating my Atkins Apple Crisp bars for breakfast. Maybe I should give them up also because I am not losing nearly as quickly as I had hoped.

Okay, as of tomorrow a.m. (too late for today I ate an Apple bar for b-fast), I am going to go 7 days with no breakfast bar and no candy bar and see what happens!

I lost 4 lbs in 4 days after I quit eating the Russel Stover candy. :)

Then DH gave me a bit of his Atkins breakfast bar and after I ate it I saw it had mailtol. :( I didn't lose anything for another 3 days. Don't know if it's a coincidence or not.

I'll let DD eat the candy I still have left. :)
