Packing for our stay in a GV

Our family is going down in nov for 6 days at OKW in a GV and then 4 days at US at the HRH..When you guys stay for an extended peroid how much do you take with you..there is only hubby & myself I have to pack for..with that in mind how much clothes would you bring with you TIA Marianne

That really depends on whether you want to wash or not. You have a full size washer and dryer in your villa and you can wash daily or not. We don't take many clothes with us because we fly and don't want all that luggage. We wash towels daily and other clothes as needed. I am not sure where your next location is but I would certainly wash before you leave OKW so you can start with clean clothes for your next 4 days. Have a great trip. GV's are the greatest and so nice. We are headed there in a few weeks to OKW and a GV!:Pinkbounc

We stay in a 1 br (which has a w & d just like a GV does ;)) and I pack one carry-on for each of us with room to spare.

We pack VERY light. Usually only take about 3 days of outfits and wash every other day. We usually take salt/pepper, sugar coffee, tea and any seasonings we want. We always grocery shop the day we arrive at Publix. We don't usually do a LOT of cooking, just breakfast and an occational light supper. In the GV we often have guests along who like to save money, so we do cook a bit more then. Our luggage is usually limited to one small roller bag each plus I carry on my cosmetic case.

lol JAYSUE,I really feel like that on every trip we make..Every time we go I say this time will be differant and every time is the same ..tooooooooo much clothes tooooooo much everything..this time I swear this is IT..( wait a minute!!!what if it is cold ,hot,freezing,rainy oh no here we go again..Marianne
