How long to receive Visa awards certificates?

I noticed on the website it says 4-6 weeks to receive them. Does it really take that long? I am checking for a friend who is going to order some for her November trip.

I ordered mine on Aug 22 and they arrived Aug 30. The expiration date is 12/31/04. We are going in Nov also!:D

We ordered them on a Tuesday and it told me it would take up to 2 weeks or so. We received them that Saturday.

We'll be at the Yacht Club in November. :cool:

Got mine in one week- when I saw them I said "how Pretty but they are a strange size - wish they would issue something like a credit card size "- so now that's what they may do - guess I ordered too soon but didn't want to take a chance since we are going in 5 weeks.

A word of caution - I ordered ours over a week ago and paid $10 for express shipping because we were planning to go to Disney over the Labor Day weekend and wanted the vouchers to use for our park tickets. I ordered online and noticed that the shipping date was actually earlier for the regular shipping so I called to find out why. The lady I spoke with said the date given for free shipping was the earliest possible ship date but with no guarantee that they would actually be shipped that early and that the date given for the express shipping was actually the arrival date. Since the express shipping date was for the day before we planned to leave I went ahead with the online order only to find after I placed the order that the rep I had spoken with was wrong. My order confirmation said the vouchers would arrive by 9/02/03 - the day after we were supposed to come home.:( I called back and was told that mine would definitely ship out by the day before we left but probably earlier and that most people were receiving their orders in less than a week. However, I still have not received mine and wasted the $10 for rush shipping. The only good thing is that we opted not to go this past weekend afterall so it didn't matter that the vouchers didn't arrive on time. Bottom line - order far enough before your trip to be sure they will arrive just in case it does take the full 4-6 weeks. Good luck.

We leave 9/10 - I ordered my first batch and they arrived it 5 days. I kow I'm taking a gamble - but I thought I'd try it. Website says they shipped today... our fingers are crossed!
