New Years Eve

Does anyone know how late the parks are open New Years Eve. Are there fireworks on the property other than the parks? We are hoping to get ressies and trying to figure out the timing of things.

The parks (except AK) will stay open until either 1:00 a.m. or 2:00 a.m. There is a spectucular fireworks display at midnight. They may also have "regular" fireworks earlier in the evening at Epcot and MK. MGM usually brings back Sorcerer in the Sky for NYE. Pleasure Island has fireworks also but this is a special ticket party. Usually they will have a some sort of package and a "name" band.

If your thinking of New Years at Disney then you made a good choice.We had a wonderful time last year or this year if you count NewYears day 2003.It beats watching the ball drop from home!
