This ride was being constructed when we were last at WDW in 2000. How is it?

Runs about the same as Dumbo but you are in magic carpets. Fun for the little ones. And there is a tall camel that spits water out at you as you go by.

A magic carpet version of Dumbo ride with the added chance of getting wet when camel hoses folks at different intervals. It's cute but not a must do for us.:earsboy: :sunny: :earsgirl:

That makes four of the same ride at WDW...Dumbo, Aladdin, Astro Orbiter and Triceratop Spin in AK.

momto2, I see you are near Chicago. Stop by the meet board and get in on the Chicago meet planning for Oct/Nov. And congratulations on 100 posts!!!!! :bounce:

I rode this last year and thought it was fun! I am an adult, and was riding with another adult! I sat in the front and she sat in the back. We had a good time making the carpet fly, but everytime i tried to get the camel to "spit" at me (ir get a little wet - it doesn't get you soaked) I kept getting my friend wet instead! :p :p

Definitely cute, but not must see. We caught it one night and luckily didn't have to wait long.

Every time we passed this attraction, the lines were huge. One night, we happened to pass it during the Spectro Magic parade and there were only a few people waiting so we rode it. It is cute, but I would not wait in a long line for it.

We rode it as well on this trip.. cute, but nothing totally special. The line for Dumbo was too long so we rode this.. nothing too spectacular, but fine.

My 2 DD's trip was made last Dec. when at the last minute Genie jumped in line and got on the ride w/ them and my DM. I was frantic to get pictures and it was adorable!

I actually think that it is a very cute ride. I love that the person in the front controls whether you go up and down, and the person in the back controls whether you lean forward or backward. That way everyone has something to do, and it adds a little something extra to the ride. We always try to time it so we get spit on by the camel, but it isn't always easy.

Many times you will see Genie or Aladdin riding this attraction.
