Vote for a June 2004 PA meet before Hersheypark: Knoebels, Kennywood, or Lakemont Pk

I was planning on coming up to Hersheypark on 6/13/04, but there's always time for another meet the day before on 6/12/04! There are a few great parks within the Hersheypark vicinity...

Kennywood (www.kennywood.com) with the highly rated Phantom's Revenge and the classics Jack Rabbit and the Racer. Plus, the park has rides that are rarely found at other parks.

Lakemont Park (www.lakemontparkfun.com) with the oldest roller coaster in the world, Leap the Dips, and some other classic rides.

Knoebel's (www.knoebels.com) with two world-class wooden coasters (The Phoenix and Twister), plus the best bumper cars in the world.

We can also do a day in Hershey and do the trolley ride or Chocolate World.

Which would you choose? I'm leaning towards Knoebel's myself.

Barry, Kennywood is close to Pittsburgh , and that's quite a drive from the Hershey area.
BTW, we love Knoebels.

Since I live here, I'm voting for Kennywood - great park, I've been going since I was born (I even remember when you could get in FREE!). And you can add 4 more coasters to your total - Thunderbolt (my absolute favorite), Racer, Jack Rabbit and Phantom's Revenge, plus the Lil' Phantom if you're into kiddie rides.

But Mskanga is right - it's about a 4-hour drive from Pittsburgh to Hershey. I've never been to Lakemont or Knoebel's.

Personally I like Knoebels.. but I can't remember how far that is from Hershey...
