I just found out they are opening a new Fairfield Inn Universal Studios this month.(0.5 miles from Park) .I called and got a AAA rate of $70.30 per night (12/29-1/1/02) New Years Eve Weekend!!! I have tentative ressies at Holiday Inn @66.00 per night and Radisson Twin Towers @99.00 night.....

Has anyone stayed at a Fairfield Inn and if so, how are they??? I am trying to weigh my options here....Choosing a nicer hotel with no breakfast included, or a smaller hotel that includes breakfast.... Since we will only be there for the weekend, it would keep us from having to go out everyday and buy breakfast, or pay for it at the Hotel restaurant....Thats more money to enjoy the parks...

Any suggestiosn??

I have stayed at several Fairfield Inns and have liked them enough to always look for one when I travel. They aren't anything fancy...but always clean and the breakfast is great!

They are Marriott's budget hotel. I have never had a problem with them. They're clean with no frills. Most of them do have a free continental breakfast.

I just changed my ressies for the 3rd and last time. We are now staying at the Fairfield Inn Orlando South (7 miles from Universal). We checked their website and it loks really good. Heated pool, free breakfast (fruit, muffins, bagels, juice, coffee)..... all for the Priceline Price of $22/night!!!!
