Well its official...surgery on thursday:(

Well I knew it was coming , and am glad that its soon..but my surgery on my ankle is on Sept4th. If all goes well, I should be out of my cast by the Nov cruise. So if I am still hobbling around by then I will make due. Wish me luck.

Thanks for all the positive wishes. Surgery is at 10am tomorrow, I am somewhat nervous, but mostly just glad to get it over with. Also I have been searching for my BirthMother for about 4 years and found her today...so thats taken off a lot of the thoughts about the surgery!

My surgery went well, and I am at home, working on healling now. I am in pain, and really really tired, but doing pretty well. Thanks for all the well wishes...and I am going crazy waiting for this cruise:)

It's over, and now you can relax, and think about the cruise, that should help take your mind off of the pain....try passing Tinker bell over your ankle a couple of times a day, and see if all that Pixie dust helps....:p

Not much longer 'till the cruise...go to

www.local6.com and they have a Pt Canaveral cam, and when the Magic and Wonder are in port, they have the cameras on them, and watch them to out to sea...that might help too

HI all,
Its been a week now since the surgery and I am hanging in there. Had my post op check today and while things are going well he still doesnt want me to walk on it so more fun time with the crutches:( I hate the crutches...I really really really hate the crutches. So two more weeks of no weight bearing, then 6 more of the walking cast. So I am gonna be really cutting it close with this cruise...but I am going no matter what!!!!!!!!! I maybe limpping along , but I will be there to meet you all. I just wont be able to chase poor ED around.
