We'll be going to Sea World for a day the first week in December. I'm trying to read as much as I can but I just want to make sure I'm clear on a few things ...

1) Discovery Cove is an entirely separate water park from Sea World with a separate admission charge, etc????

2) If we simply go to Sea World in December and NOT Discovery Cove, will we get soaked on water rides or is it mainly shows??

3) What time does the park close in December? 6:00?? Are there shows that start after the park closes???

Thanks so much for your help!!! I didn't realize that Sea World was so big!

Yes, it's separate.

Sea World has Journey to Atlantis and will get you soaked. You can also get soaked by sitting in the splash zones of the Shamu show, Key West Dolphin Fest, and Cylde and Seamore.

Check out park times at www.seaworld.com

The only things that are open after the park closes are the gift shops near the front.

This is just an F.Y.I. but if you book Discovery Cove you get free admission to Sea World for 7 consecutive days.
