I'm not very good about exercise, especially on a regular basis. I was using my old Richard Simmons tapes:p on occasion (love the Disco one..."Burn baby burn"). They are more difficult to follow though--but Richard can be a scream.
The "Walk Away the Pounds" tapes appear to be very popular. I wasn't familiar with them or many other exercise tape series for that matter:p. A couple of weeks? ago, I found WATP 2-mile VHS tape at Target for only $6.99. I finally put it in the VCR tuesday and have done it twice this week, and surprised myself--I really like it!:)
I'm not ready to do this every day, so, I'm doing it every other day. Do those of you that do the WATP tapes do them every day?
I'll work my way up to this, and, eventually a regular exercise routine.
I also bought a "Pilates" tape, and my NordicTrack(ex-clothes rack) needs a good cleaning...so...I've got other exercise things to explore!;) :)

Good for you! It sounds like you are really motivated to exercise!

I haven't done the WATP video but a lot of people here seem to do them so I am sure you will get a lot of advice on how to best use them. I have been doing the pilates video twice a day and loving it! I think it is really helping to tone me down. I actually like to exercise outside but the weather is not always great for that I need to have options - that is what I like about the videos.

Great job for finding exercising options and getting motivated! Keep on movin' -

Great job finding something you like, and what an awesome price!

I got out my WATP tapes tonight and did the 3 mile workout. I am going to try to exercise consistantly now! I hope I keep it up!

I think that you have to be comfortable with how often you do it. If you don't want to do it everyday, do not feel guilty about it. At least you are doing some!

Keep up the great work!

So happy to hear the great news! Good for you for varying your exercise routine and for trying the WATP tapes!!! I see you have 77 days before your cruise - well, you are certainly doing yourself a huge favor by adding exercise into the mix now! In just 77 more days you'll notice how much better you feel, how much energy you have, how well you sleep and how great you look!!!! Keep up the excellent work - you are going to be a BIG TIME LOSER and an exercise LOVER!!! :)

Way to go!!!!!

Thanks for the replies! Yes, I'm getting more motivated to get exercising--a BIG (trying not to panic) motivator is 70 some days to cruise day--it's really a fire under my butt :o :p.
My short-term goal is doing WATP tape every day and possibly add the pilates too.
I want to update that clippie!!:)

I find that doing the 2 mile watp tapes work for me. I like to do them mon-thrus and then give myself fri-sun off. :) I do the firm ab scupt on the same days and just knock all my exercise out for the week first thing so i look forward to having my free weekends! Congruadulations of getting the tape in the machine it's a big first step.
