My first question is what is Emerald Choice? We need seating for 6 so we cannot use Emerald Aisle. Also where, besides DC, have people found discount codes for National? We're going to be in Orlando in Sept. and will need the car then. Thanks in advance!

If i rember emerald choice is where a emerald member can choice any car they like but you have to pay $50.00 to enroll i got my card free for life as i am elite member with one of the airlines. you get the card and on the back of it a privite 800 number plus you don't have to wait in line your car is waiting for you

If I understand it correctly, Emerald Choice is similar to Emerald Aisle service in that you bypass the counter and go directly to where the cars are located. However instead of picking any car off of the Emerald Aisle with Emerald Aisle service, you go directly to the aisle where the specific kind of car you reserved is located. For example if you reserved a minivan you go to the minivan aisle and pick any vehicle out of that aisle. Same with Premium or Luxury aisle, depending on whatever class you reserved. You still get to pick your own car, and you don't need to go to the counter. You just get to pick the class you specifically reserved in that exact aisle, as opposed to whatever is available in the Emerald Aisle.

Thanks for the info - I was hoping I could bypass the counter with emerald choice - looks like this will work since I did get an emerald club card while they are free!

Yes you are right. The Emerald Club has had free enrollment for about a month now. I think the free offer is over on 6/15. I agree, it seems to be well worth it.
