In March of this year, I decided to renew my subscription to Disney Magazine for two years at the price of $19.95. Such a good deal, right? Well. . . here's an even better one. It turns out that my membership to the Disney Club was good for one more month (until the end of April.) I just found out that Disney Club members can get a two year subscription for only $10. So, I made a little phonecall, and sweetly asked if I could have a $10 refund. The nice CM said that while he couldn't give me a refund, he could offer me two more years of the magazine at no additional charge. Now I have a four year subscription (through 2006) for the price of $19.95! Hope this can help someone else as well :D

Where did you read about Disney Club members getting a 2-year subscription for $10?

Hmmm...my latest Disney Magazine that I got the other day has the subscription cards inside - 8 issues (2 years) for $19.95. Where specifically does it say you can get 2 years for $10?

The ad for the $10 subscription is pretty small, and very easy to miss. It is on page 14, directly under a letter from the "Bulletin Board" section, entitled Marathon Mom. It is right next to a photograph of two people, their baby and Tigger. :D

And you had to pay using your Disney VISA? Well, that let's this DC member out, since we can't get the Disney VISA.

At least for my MIL's subscription I didn't use the Disney Visa....we don't have it and don't want it. It was just the discount I got for being a DC member.

Okay...you guys are great! I just called that number...I told them that a "friend' of mine had gotten a subscription for 2 years for $10...I told her I was a DVC member and she said.."okay...would you like to subscribe for that price" I said YES! She took my information and didn't even ask about the DVC, so i guess it doesn't matter...but I got it, and it will expire summer of 2005!

Great deal for only $10!

Thanks

I would really encourage anybody who is interested to call and ask. I did -- they said my previous subscription expired fall of 2002 but my DC membership showed an expiration of 02/03. Either way I figured since everything had expired they would say no but they let me get the 2 years/ $10 deal!! It never hurts to ask -- the worst they'll say is no. Plus, they had a special on the FamilyFun Magazine and the Adventures Magazine (I think it's called Adventures, could be mistaken). They're going to send me a free issue of each and if I wan't to subscribe then I do nothing. I have to call if I decide I don't want a subscription.

That's 3 Disney subscriptions but since DH keeps saying no Disney for 3 years I have to get my "fix" somehow.
