......Fab car......but personally I'd be obscuring the number plate.................That can give a lot of info to some unsavoury types out there!

Hope I haven't put a damper on it for you ( it looks like it could fly to Florida itself!!! )

That lovely sunshine colour will brighten up even the darkest winter day.

You won't have much trouble finding that in the car-park! Have you issues regulation sunglasses to everyone in your road?

My parents had a Peogot 205 in a similar colour a few years ago - I always felt really 'sunny' when I drove it :teeth:

I'm sure the car (not just the colour) is 'Wow' as well, but I'm not very well up on that side of things

Lovely car ~ I was doing Bereavement Counselling a couple of year's ago and wanted a nice bright car to cheer me up. I had my yellow Saab for about 18 months and I always felt really happy when I was driving it.

Hope you have many miles of great driving ahead of you in your new car.

DH has already been drooling over these pictures on Scoobynet.

Very Nice. :D

Trouble is all he will say now is isn't it time we changed our car.

Claire ;)

Debs just wondering did you get a Tracker fitted to your car ????

jj......

08-22-2003, 06:35 AM

No we don't have a Tracker at the moment. Thinking maybe we should, although we never bothered with the Scoob (our previous 'baby').

We are down in your neck of the woods this weekend - off to my brother's in Newhaven (leaving in about 15 minutes, in fact). Maybe we could have a mini DIS/Scoobynet meet! We'll be in Brighton tomorrow - going to the Hotel du Vin for lunch.

A mini Scooby/Dis meet sounds like a good idea, will check with DH to see what his plans are first and then give you a call if we are able to meet.

Debs we have TRACKER Monitor fitted
The system detects any unauthorised movement of the vehicle and sends a theft-warning signal to TRACKER's 24-hour monitoring centre. This means we tell you if we think your car is being stolen, enabling us to activate the system and begin tracking as quickly as possible once you've reported it to the police.

350 fitted and 99 a year subscription or 299 for the life time of the car.

Plus we got nearly 10% of our car insurance.

Hi Deb,

Car looks fab!!

Gosh, Dave (hubby) and Matt would get on like a house on fire!!!! He's into Scoobies & Evo's in a big way. Well he was until it was my turn to get a nice car - new BMW 530 Sport so he's taken a back seat and got a Diesel Golf... Ah well, it sits at the airport carpark most weeks as he's in and out of Europe every week. Anyway wanted to say that we had our Scooby stolen to order a few years ago - he'd just had his WRX STi imported and we'd only had it for about 6 months and whilst we were asleep upstairs our house was burgled for the car keys. It was a proper organised crime affair, our car was stolen along with a Lexus and couple of other luxury cars. We had a tracker fitted and it was recovered within a couple of days - luckily they hadn't found it although they had come very very close... Car was returned without any damage but we didn't feel the same way about it especially as we'd been burgled aswell so we had to buy a new car (TVR Chimeara and find a new house!!)

Mmm.... I think I'll be able to spot that baby cruising around Gloucester;)
Now where are my sunglasses:smooth:

my other half is a regular Scoobynetter! What a small world! Do either of you ever go on the camping trips that they organise on there? We have been on a couple in the Scoob, always quite a good laugh!

We went to Weston Wheels at the weekend in Weston Super Mare and there was an FQ300 there which was all stickered up like a cop car - very spooky!

Have fun

Hi Gems,

We've been to a couple of local meets and to Castle Coombe (although we couldn't go this year), but I'm not sure I'd want to spend a whole weekend with a bunch of petrolheads! ;)

One of our local meets goes to the Isle of Wight each autumn for a weekend although we have never made it due to work commitments so far.

Somone must have made a mistake.

Only one word...........WOW!

I'd be scared to drive it though:(

ooh - Love the colour - I think I have a shirt that'll go nicely with that! - LOL

Are you going to keep the "Scooby" number plate off the old one?
