HELP! Please tell me about the crowds if attending the parks DEC 18-22

Please tell me the parks are not the crowded yet. I have been reading the boards and wanted more information. I have read a lot that the parks tend to get more crowded on Dec. 26. Do most school get on the 19th? Help!

We too will be in the parks around this time. It is our 1st December visit ever. We always go in February, May and October. Have avoided December because we feared the crowds. Decided to just try it this year. DS is 12 now so a lot less maintenance. He still will humor me and go to MK but prefers AK, EPCOT and MGM. He is also thrilled to spend every afternoon at SAB but I fear in late December this may not be such a great option. Just hoping for the best.

Actually my husband and I prefer to go end of nov. through the week befor christmas. It is not usally that busy and we have never waited that long in any ride line, plus we have never had to use fast pass so you should be ok. :)
As a matter of fact we will be there dec 13-17 :)

My kids get out on the 19th, and a lot of schools will get out that day.

The 18 & 19th should be quite, with crowds buliding each day as you get closer to Christmas.
We have been there the past few years arriving a few days before Christmas, and found the crowds manageable. Having said that the parks will be busy and you will not be able to see everything. If you are on -site use EE & fast pass. Make PS's early and you should do fine. We arrive on the 28th thru the 3rd.
