Well, I did it! I talked hubby into going back in October, just the two of us!! I am so excited, I want to stay at the RPR - when we drove past on the way to the HRH, I thought it looked gorgeous. We usually go away in August for our anniversary, but since we didn't go this month, the October trip will be our anniversary trip this year. I can't wait to go back and do grown-up things, yeah!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Here is my question. I called and got an entertainment rate of $110 for RPR for the dates we can go. How fast do these rates go? Should I book right now? The reason I ask is this. We can't find any good airfare for that weekend (Columbus day weekend), and if we can take care of the grandmas watching the kids on a different weekend we would travel on a different weekend. Can you make a ressie and then cancel withour a penalty? This is the hard part of traveling without the kids! Also, any good airfare deals out there? Thanks!!

They go fast! Especially a holiday wekend. Book it!!!! You have until five days before to cancel without a penalty.

Those discounts go away quickly. You can cancel 5 days prior to arrival with no penalty.

Thanks! Now my dates have changed! We couldn't get Grandma to watch on that weekend, so now we are into Nov. - Vetran's Day weekend. No more Halloween Horror Nights, but the airfare is much, much better. I'm going to try to book today. Thanks again!

No entertainment rate for Vetran's Day :( But, I got the Fan club rate of $140, and with the cheaper airfare, it still works out to be cheaper than October with the $110 rate. Has anyone ever been told there were no entertainment rates available, then kept trying, and eventually got the ET rate?

another option might be to check at Hard Rock. their Entertainment rate is 125.00 for garden view.

I'll keep checking. Now I have to wait a whole extra month! But, of course, I love the planning, so it will be fun ;)

Just FYI - There were no entertainment rates for November 7, 8, & 9 at RPR, HRH or Portifino. I'll reserve the fan club rate and then just keep checking back.
