On the Universal website it says shoes & shirts must be worn at all times. Loose articles must be stored in lockers for these rides. Sandals would be ok to wear woudn't they as long as they have a strap around the heel to keep them from falling off? Sounds like such a stupid question, but I just want to be sure.

I wear my Teva's whenever I go to the parks. They're pretty snug.

Yes, if they have a strap you're fine. Our last ride DD rode Dueling Dragons and was wearing a pair of slide keds - no strap. They had her take them off and sit on them!

Only on Dueling Dragons would the sandals be a problem but as long as they are snug I wouldn't worry.

You can go barefoot on Dueling Dragons

You can go barefoot - but you have to sit on your shoes - they wouldn't let me just hold DD's shoes while she rode. The guy said if anything went wrong and they had to get off in mid ride she'd need them.

We were watching Hulk when someone's sunglasses came flying off right out of the chute. They hit the net and fell to the pavement. This guy just walks up and picks them up and walks away with them. I was pretty ticked that he didn't give them to the person at the snack booth which was right there under the net. Some nerve.

I don't remember the net when the park first opened. I remember seeing sunglasses flying off a rider and hitting the pavement.

They have a net for Hulk over the bridge ... according to a previous post by a USF/IOA employee the net is emptied every night and the contents put in lost and found, except for money which is donated to charity.
