View Full Version : Name That Tune...

Ok...as this seemed to be quite popular before, and as my only chance of participating in such a thread is by starting it because I never know any of the answers myself, hehehe, I figured it was time to give it another go.

For those not familiar with the game - I give you some lyrics. If you recognise the song and artist, post the answer and it becomes your turn to give us some lyrics for everyone else to guess, and so on, and so on....till we get bored (so I hope atleast one person replies to this! ;) )

Right here we go, a nice easy on to start...

My girlfriend's gone off with my car

and gone back to her ma and pa

telling tales of drunkenness and cruelty.

Name That Tune!

You can't sneak a Guns N Roses one past me that easily! Sweet Child 'O Mine, if I'm not mistaken.

I'll try a harder one - or at least, it's one that comes from my slightly bizarre tastes in music, so it should be!

There's a picture opposite me,
of my primitive ancestry,
which stood on rocky shores and kept the beaches shipwreck free.
